Although they knew I was traveling 400 miles to get there to pick up my new 80K truck, it was not working properly and I was stuck at the dealership for two hours while they reprogrammed my tailgate.
Now I find out that although GM doesn’t bill for the first 3 months of ownership, the dealer scheduled my first payment for less than a month after delivery although I confirmed with the salesman that I would have 3 months before any payment was due.
I won’t be back nor would I recommend any friends to work with Wells River Chevrolet.
First time buyer from Wells River Chevy. Could not have asked for a better experience. I called Ted Cooper and told him what i was looking for and he did just that! It was smooth as can be. Starting with a test drive, then with the help of Grace Zambon on the finacial side of things it was a pleasant experience, with a great deal to top it off! Highly suggest Ted Cooper. Great down to earth, stand up guy!
Ted is a nice guy and good to work with. This was my second vehicle purchased with him. I didn't receive any upselling until I was in the finance office, which i didn't care for, but that doesn't change my opinion of working with Ted.
This is the way car buying should be, no pressure from the time I first walked through the door to sitting in finance. John went out of his way to help me on short notice find a truck that I was looking for. Grace did such a wonderful job with the financing and taking care of all my paperwork. Brianna did great job showing me all the features of my truck and providing such wonderful service.

My experience with Wells River Chevrolet was great. Rob was professional, down to earth, and patient. He took the time to answer my many questions and did not make me feel pressured as a buyer. Grace, finance manager, was also friendly and helpful.
Would prefer to give a negative because the service department is not professional or do they follow their own policies leaving me with over $2000 in repairs. Sad part is this was the service manager that admitted they messed up yet we were made to pay. Will NEVER do business with them again. Update: received call from GM about this issue. Was supposed to get a call back from him the following day. Day 3 and still nothing! Funny thing is he agreed it would be in everyone’s interest to fix this and make it right. Words are pretty cheap when you’re appeasing someone instead of resolving the issue. This behavior is the typical slimy car salesman that no one wants to deal with. Truth goes a long way in a small hometown business and this reinforces the fact we were screwed.
Everything about our experience with Wells River Chevrolet was fantastic! Never felt pressured, and didn't get the run around like I have at other dealerships. Ted knew what we wanted and was ready when we walked in the door, with the best options to get my daughter a car before leaving for college in the fall. Highly recommend and look forward to doing buisness with them again.
We called and spoke to Ted Cooper prior to arriving to Wells River Chevrolet. We told him what we were looking for in a new vehicle and discussed price range. When we arrived he had narrowed down the selection to few vehicles that met our needs. The next day we drove away with our new SUV. It was a great experience
Told them we just needed a Ford car diagnosed with a problem I could not find myself. They told me they could diagnose the problem regardless of the manufacturer. The appointment was made and we arrived and re-explained the issue and the car make and model, and they said no problem. After about a hour we get a call and they said they were unable to diagnose it-and we should take it to the Ford dealer. They still charged me $156. Luckily after a thorough discussion with the one of the mechanics they were able to knock off $20. Unfortunately I still had to pay $130 for something that they could not diagnose after saying they could. This is my first time going there and my last. I was very disappointed after they said they could diagnose it and could not. Instead of recommending me to another dealer after charging me, they could have just done this to begin with in order to not waste anyone’s time or my money.
Ted was very prompt to come out and greet the wife and me. I love the fact that he listened to my exact need and want in procuring the truck I wanted without trying to over sale me. He was prompt with the paperwork to insure I got the truck I wanted. He is kind and listened to the wants that I needed to go with my purchase. He made sure I was well taken care of. He explained things of my purchase with ease of understanding and even broke a barrier and said don’t be scared to give it some gas to show the potential of my purchase.
Thanks to Ted the wife and me will return to trade in car for a purchase from your dealership. I look forward to working with Ted in the future.

Rob Ward (Salesman) and Grace Zambon (Finance Manger) were a pleasure to work with. There was no haggling on price or trade in values because their first offers were where they should have been. The entire transaction was done over the phone and by email. Total time in the dealership was less than hour, which was awesome as we had a 3-hour drive in good weather.

This is probably the first time I’ve left a review for a car dealership as most experiences didn’t work the way I thought they would.
First I’d like to say that Brianna at Wells River Chevrolet was a pleasure to work with! This was the only experience that I’ve had buying a vehicle that was painless. I reached out about a used WRX that had just been posted for sale. Now a WRX has been a car I’ve wanted for well over 10 years. This was a low mileage, great condition WRX. I reached out about info on the car and less than an hour later I go an email from Brianna with info on the car. Almost seemed too good to be true honestly..this is the only time I’ve bought a vehicle that was this fast, easy, no hassle. I wasn’t pressured, I was able to think about my decision. She was very understanding and very willing to make a deal happen.

I’m very happy I was able to get a car so local, well priced and such good condition. I was also very happy with the entire process start to finish.
