These guys were fantastic! I called midday on a Friday with a warning light on my car, and they managed to fit me in that same afternoon. By the end of the day my car was diagnosed and the replacement part ordered, and by the end of the next business day my car was fixed for a very reasonable price. They even gave me rides to/from my house after I dropped the car off. They definitely have a new client!
So grateful to these amazing people! Shortly after arriving on the island, our 1988 campervan would not turn off. The staff were so helpful, told us to come right down, and had a fix for us in less than 15 minutes. THANK YOU!! We will never forget your kindness!
My daughter got to her summer camp for work this spring. Unfortunately, something went wrong with her car and she needed to have it repaired. We brought it here for help figuring out what was wrong with it. They were very quick to let us know what it was and how much. She spoke to myself and her dad regarding the repairs and we told her that tires were not needed at this time. She called back the Shop immediately to let them know that they can go ahead with the mechanical repair, but not the tire replacement.
Fast forward 2 1/2 weeks later they call to say her car is complete. She gets there and they have fixed the mechanical problem, Thank you, and they replaced her tires after they were told not to. They were only willing to give a $28.00 credit for the tire recycling. They would not give any other discount for the tires, whcih she asked them not to replace. They stated that we don't order tires until we have consent from the customer. Funny they didn't have permission. They completely took advantage of a young women in need of a car repair.
Do not recommend this garage!
Got our inspection done here as well as our breaks, tires and alignment. The car drives great now the experience was easy and everyone we spoke with has been super nice and helpful

So i had replaced most parts on the front end of my honda crv and had adjustable camber for the front. When installing all new parts i set a basic camber on it and knew where the adjustment was and dropped it off for a full wheel alignment.
They called me back and said it was good to go and took home. I noticed NOTHING was adjusted but the tie rods! Obviously upset i spent $130 for basically nothing i called and he said it was done right and said he could prove it was in the green on the paperwork, he couldn’t find it to prove because it was never done. While car was getting done a 2nd time the guy working on my car said the rear was to rusty to adjust?! I quickly said thats weird its a rust free car and actually just replaced the trailing arm bushings so it had to be done and know it was rust free. The jerk was just to lazy to do his job and to make it worse it was THE SECOND TIME I WAS THERE TO FIX THE SAME PROBLEM!!
DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR VEHICLE! Stay away and go to honest people. Ill copy and paste this for records as they were somehow able to remove my last review.

Just wanted to give a huge shout out to Sean & the team at Island Auto Haven - I was traveling there on my Himalayan for their demo day back at the beginning of July and my bike developed an oil leak on the way. I left it there to be serviced after demo riding, and there was a delay with parts, etc. Sean took care of my bike and got it back to me as quickly as he could despite the delayed parts. A big thank you to all the people who dealt with my many phone calls, LOL. I'm thrilled with how he repaired the bike and enjoyed a beautiful ride home last week from Grand Isle. Thanks guys!

Very impressed and grateful to the team at Island Auto Haven. I scheduled a service for my RE Himalayan while on my round-the-world trip. They meticulously looked the bike over, fixed what needed fixing and pointed out things to take care of further down the road which did not need immediate attention. I left feeling confident that my motorcycle was good for another 10,000 miles. Billing was correct and fair. Highly recommend!
90K Service for my 2016 VOLVO XC60
They are simply the best. They completed my 90K service; explained everything; and had me back on the road. All of the folks at Island Auto Haven are courteous; knowledgeable and always professional. They are fairly priced and I have never had an issue with their work. They are my go-to guys for all my auto needs!
I've been using IAH for my car since I moved to Grand Isle in 2021. Most recently I had a new set of summer tires put on my car. The crew is very professional, the customer service is impeccable, and I appreciate that they keep me informed on possible future repairs I may soon need, without pressuring me to do any unnecessary work. I'll be a customer for life!
The folks at Island Haven are fantastic! They helped me last minute when my tailpipe fell off and I had to get to Montreal to make a flight. When I returned from my trip, I took the car back to get a proper fix. Not only did they fix it, but they didn’t nickel and dime me AND they did my inspection (which I had planned to schedule another time.) I can’t recommend this place enough! Thanks Shawn!

As soon as you pull in to the parking lot you’ll notice everything is neat, clean organized and spotless. The techs are real , highly trained professionals. Can’t say enough good things , just wish they had more stores just like it.

I have been using Island Auto for the last 6 years. They've honestly been the best shop I've worked with in the 18 years I've been driving. They work with you when you need it. They will tell you when something needs to be replaced, and not just because it makes them money. Really sad that I will be leaving them behind when we move. Dread trying to find a shop as good as this. Thanks for everything guys!
Brought in a water pump for a 1984 John Deere 2350 needed it pressed apart and back together with new seals and bearings. There was some uncertainty in time it would be done. Outta nowhere I get a phone call about an hour later, its done. Very well rounded shop full of talent. Keep it up guys and gals!
My oil pressure light came on and I did not want to have to drive too far to a mechanic. I called Island Haven and was able to get an appointment right away. My appointment was at 7 AM and within one hour, my car was diagnosed. I was given comprehensive information over the phone and was told that a part would need to be ordered. I was given an estimate for the total cost. I was told that I would be kept closely informed regarding this pending repair. The very next day, I received a call that my car had been repaired and the actual cost was spot on to the estimated cost. Thank You Island Haven LLC for your excellence! I will be a loyal customer from now on!!!!

It's the little extra's that count and you really feel like a cared for customer here. The rates are reasonable for labor, and the Royal Enfield bikes they carry are top notch. Don't let his looks fool you, Shawn is one of the best auto techs around. I have worked with many auto mechanics in Vermont, and he is one of the best that I know. His team is knowledgeable, and his pricing is phenomenal.
Shawn is the most honest mechanic I have encountered in my 52 years, and the staff at Island Auto Haven is courteous, timely, and efficient in all they do. I regularly recommend IAH to folks that ask me where they should get their auto service done.
Sean and his team are just awesome! We have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler JK that we had lifted by Sean. Customer service and pricing is hard to beat! Triple thumbs up by us! Its' a great local garage that you can trust.
I have used Island Auto Haven a few times now. Once my car had died completely and I had to have it towed. They took a look, diagnosed and repaired it within two days, even without advance notice. Allison is super friendly makes you feel comfortable even when you have no idea what's going on! Their staff is incredibly helpful. Prices are very rreasonable. I highly recommend them.
