Great place that has nearly everything you might need from hardware to housewares to kids toys. Saves driving to a big box store. Everyone is always nice and helpful.

Seriously, they have everything from house hold goods, plumbing, tools, hardware, cleaning products, toys... something for everyone. New merchandise at great prices.
Although this place is labeled as a hardware store it is much more than that. It has a variety of times ranging from pet supplies, food and drinks, children's toys, and hardware (of course). The prices are ridiculously cheap! The staff are extremely nice and helpful. If you need to run out and get something from the store you are much better off coming here than a place like Dollar General.
The friendliest hardware store I've ever been in. I'm always surprised at how extensive the selection is too. They almost always have what I need to get a project finished.
Every town should have a local resource like the Bargin Barn ... a true asset for the community. Locally-owned and operated ... they have almost everything ... and the staff/management is top notch. Try them before diving to any of the "big box" stores.
A very very nice place I know the owner very very well. Definitely a place to go get Stuff he's got reasonable prices. If you ask to bargain he will bargain with you.

The Island Bargain Barn is like a trip back to the old days when Grandpa took You into a store and You got real, honest service and left feeling a little better than You did when You walked in... This place just about has everything you could want in a hardware store plus. Just need to walk the isles to find what you need or ask. More fun to walk the isles. Very helpful staff.
Great! You never know what you might find there. I needed some plumbing stuff, yep they had it. Good price too. Every weekend, my first stop for anything that I didn't have to get my project done. My advice,
Stop in even if you don't need something, you will find something to buy.
Super convenient everything store. Friendly, family owned local business. Love having this store here: hardware, household, landscaping and miscellaneous bargain goods. Don't have to travel to Swanton or NY for that one thing you need to get a job done.
I love the folks here - local and amazing finds. Anything from my tools to potting soil - it's a mom and pop hardware store. If you're willing to look closely and dig, you never know what else you'll find in here. I bought an amazing pair of Kamik rain boots for super deal ($12)
If you're in a hurry and need something specific, the owner is knowledgeable, kind and wonderful. Just ask him and he'll tell you - you'll be amazed how much info he can pull out.
I can always find what I need, and at a decent price. The owner is very accomadating and helpful. You can get just about anything from home repair needs to toys to gardening and lawn care to bedding to home decor etc. Definitely would suggest checking them out when you get the chance.
The type of place where you go in looking for 1 thing and leave with 10. Cant beat the prices, selection is incredible, owner/staff are amazing. Hard to say anything bad about this diamond in the island rough!
Very nice store with a lot of products and very friendly staff.The person at the register even offered us free soft drinks! It never happened to me in any other store.I will buy again there for sure.
When the owner found out I was from Canada down visiting friends he handed me a $20 bucket of fireworks (back when they still sold them) and said "On the house, welcome to America!" I've also heard stories about the owner from said friends that make the phrase "above and beyond" seem like not enough. Shop at this store, it is great!
If you're looking for something from gardening tools to electrical supplies ,paint , hardware, hand tools Etc they have pretty much whatever you're looking for stop in and visit Charlie and Chuck they will point you in the right direction
The Bargain Barn is what I would describe as a combination of Dollar General and a hardware store. They have pretty much anything you need. If they don't have it they can find it. The staff is extremely helpful. They do take Canadian money at an exchange rate which is favorable to most other places. It is certainly worth the trip. If you go on a Saturday, the auction house next door may be having an auction and that would make for a great afternoon evening
Simply the BEST. HUGEvvariety of products. GREAT prices. BEST Service you will find ANY WHERE. If they don't have it, they'll find it for you. ALWAYS helpful to make sure you're getting the right product for what you need even if they don't have it. They won't sell you something if it's not right for the job you're trying to do. Great part of the local community. They deserve TEN Stars on a scale of 1-5.
Fantastic! They have an incredible selection of tools, hardware and automotive supplies as well as some great seasonal and souvenir items. Prices are competitive with big box stores and major retailers without having to leave town! Staff is always friendly and helpful.
