Great service. Recommended by several coworkers. I've been here a number of times for work I don't want to do myself. We've been misled before at another shop, so it's nice to find a place you can trust.
Best Subaru Mechanics around. Not the cheapest. But defintiely the best. Especially for performance and reliability. Very knowledgeable crew, and great service/communication
This was my first time using Cam’s Automotive, but I wouldn’t have known it. The staff there was kind and very responsive to my vehicle needs all the way through my service. My husband recommended I bring my vehicle here because he had a positive experience and heard they were a trustworthy automotive repair shop. Cam’s Automative definitely lived up to their reputation. Cam even took the time to show me the work he was doing to repair my exhaust. I feel like he was priced fairly and appreciated his support of military veterans. Highly recommend.
I always have a great experience at Cams! The crew is very knowledgeable and friendly. Trustworthy guys that always get the job done in a timely manner and for a great price.
Not happy with their service or prices.
Dropped my truck off to have emergency brakes fixed (pedal went to floor and was loose feeling). Spoke with female on the phone later on (shop doesn’t open until 0900 hours) to let them know I changed brake pads and rotors- and to let them know what I saw on rear drivers side.
Received a call back from female a few hours later stating I need parts kit for that wheel and new emergency brake shoes on both rear wheels, and new lug nuts (no idea why). I was told this would cost $750. More than I wanted to spend so I asked about reusing the brake shoes and was put on the phone with a mechanic named Tony. He advised the brake shoes will still work, but attempted to the upsale of new parts. I asked how much the bill would be without the new shoes and was told $350. I agreed to this price, but heard annoyance/ attitude on the phone from him. Left it alone and did not hear anything back.
Picked up truck at the end of the day. In the office I was told by the female (Andrea?) that they got everything back together and advised they adjusted the cables. She stated one of the cables should be replaced, but the emergency brakes are working- but not to peak performance.. She said this took them more time and there is an added fee for them adjusting the cables. The $350 bill turned in to $481.43. I was frustrated with the additional money but paid the bill in full and went out to my truck.
When in my truck I noticed the rubber emergency brake pad was off the pedal and in the cup holder- frustrating to say the least. While I was attempting to reinstall this, a man approached me from the rear and began talking to me. He said his name is Tony and he was the mechanic working on my truck. Tony stated I need all new emergency brake cables (three in total) and continued to say the emergency brakes still do not work. Andrea was now outside with us as Tony was explaining this to me and I asked a clarifying question if they work or do not work. Tony stated they do not work. I advised I was told they worked and he stated he did not say that- I stated she (Andrea) just told me they worked- no reply from her and he stated they do not. I asked the rhetorical question of “so I just spend $500 to NOT get my brakes fixed” no reply. At this point Tony made a vague statement that he believed I broke the brakes while changing my own rotors and pads prior to me bringing it in to them. Classy. I stated “ok, I don’t know what that means” and he walked away. I finished putting on the rubber pad they neglected to replace and left.
I am very unhappy with the customer service, the fees charged above what was agreed upon, and how I was treated at this shop. I will not return and would urge you not to go there as well.
Fast repair & great customer service! Saved me the inconvenience of having to leave my car elsewhere for a significantly longer period of time. Awesome experience!
One of my rims was in really bad shape from a nail in the tire that I didn't deal with soon enough. Cam and his crew were able to get me on the schedule quickly and fixed it way better than I could have imagined and even managed to salvage the summer tire for one more season.

Needed a new block on my WRX. Cam's skill, experience, thoroughness and attention to detail was impressive. They took pictures to send me to keep me appraised of progress, and spent a long time going over things before I drove it off. Car now runs better than when I first bought it (used). If you've got a Subaru, these folks live and breathe them and know them as well as anyone.
Cam was welcoming, kind, and willing to accommodate my schedule when I asked for a last-minute appointment. Shop was clean, organized, and the waiting for room had complimentary refreshments which was an appreciated bonus. Recommended by a friend and will absolutely be returning! Thanks Cam.
Got my winter tires put on. Friendly staff, did a great job. I have all of my vehicle maintenance done here. Cam isn't going to overcharge you for service and also won't lie to you about what your car needs. Highly recommended

We went to Cameron when he worked at Good News Garage and then had to leave the area. Upon returning, we searched for where his shop was. He has always given us amazing service, he explains things so that I can easily understand everything, he is affordable, and just a great person overall. Never had any issues with the service. Plus he always gives my car a good look over to tell me if service may be needed soon so that I can figure out when it works best for me. Cannot recommend Cam's Automotive enough!
He is definitely the best mechanic I have ever had And I have had my licence for 25 years . It may take longer then at Shearer or Dodge but it's worth the wait.
He is honest and saved us tons of money compared the dealerships. Money suckers and the work they do is not that good.

I used to have Cameron work on my car when he worked at good news garage. I specifically looked for his shop once he had parted ways with GNG. His price was always great and he was honest with his work, I'm constantly recommending his shop to people who need work done. Highly recommended!
Cam is the best. He never makes you feel silly for not knowing what the issue is with your vehicle, instead he walks you through what he will do to fix it and works to get you a good price. He’s always super friendly and willing to squeeze you in for an appointment. Definitely glad I found him!
Cams Auto is the best place me and my boyfriend have ever been to. He doesn't over charge and talk you into anything you don't need. He also does Minor things and doesn't charge you for it ..he also tries to find me the cheapest price on parts that I need. I realy recommend him to everyone ..i was recommended to him and I am so greatful to ed who told me about cams auto. #customer4ever.
Cam is a amazing mechanic,
He is very understanding . He will explain everything in an honest way even show you pictures of the old parts and the new parts so you are aware of how it looked before and how it looks after. If he uses his mechanical terminology he will explain to you unlike some garages where they tell you something but you're all confused and don't know what they're talkin about. This is an honest review from my experience with this garage. I love it and thanks cam for everything
Cameron ran the garage for Good News Garage really well for years before opening his own business. I know many people looked him up after to be able to keep bringing their cars to him specifically. He is very competant, fair, easy going, has fair prices and is simply kind. Honestly, both dentist and mechanics always put me on guard, because their aim often feels like unnecessary work & over charging. I trust Cam's automotive 100% & highly recommend this business!!!
I'm a little disappointed I couldn't leave a 6 star review -- Cam is the best mechanic I have ever met. I moved to Burlington a few years ago and, thank God, met Cam almost immediately through a routine inspection. It wasn't long after (may car is old) I needed to have some routine maintenance done....
What makes Cam the best isn't any single facet of being a mechanic or, for that matter, a small business owner; it's everything he does.
The first thing you may notice about his work is that he treats every vehicle like he's doing an engine rebuild on his favorite athlete's Lamborghini. I had my battery terminal changed and you would think his work was going to be inspected by the head engineer for NASA...before Trump cut funding.
The second thing immediately apparent in any dealings with Cam is his personality. He is honest. I've never heard, "you really don't need to buy that," or, "it isn't necessary to replace this," from anyone...in any line of work.
Saving the best for last, I am wearing a gifted Cam's Automotive sweatshirt because "he just got them in" and "it was cold out." This came on the heels of him working on my car for 1/2 a day in exchange for a 4 pack of Fiddlehead IPA.
Bottom line; you're a fool to take your car anywhere but Cam's Automotive. Tell him the guy with the medium Cam's Automotive hoodie sent you.
Cameron is an excellent mechanic. He's very thorough and has great attention to detail. He has worked on many of my cars, in the past. He has also looked over cars I was interested in purchasing. Some he honestly told me to pass by, while others, he expressed we're sound. I highly respect his opinion & take his advice. The care he has for his customers, is equal to the care he puts into repairing their cars. I have always been pleased with his job performance.
