Our stay at the Landgrove Inn was truly one of the most unique travel experiences we’ve had. It felt like we were completely away from it all, peaceful, cozy, and surrounded by Vermont beauty, yet it’s incredibly convenient to so much nearby. We were only about 10 minutes from Weston, 25 minutes from Manchester, and just 10 minutes from amazing cross-country skiing at Wild Wings Nordic Ski Touring Center. It made the perfect home base for winter adventures. Our room with the king bed and trundle pull-out worked perfectly for our family of four, comfortable, spacious, and cozy. One of the absolute highlights was the food. Having both a full breakfast and dinner right at the inn was incredible. Honestly, where else can you wear your slippers to breakfast besides home? It felt relaxed, welcoming, and special all at the same time. The sense of community throughout the inn really stood out. The common spaces invite you to slow down, connect, and relax, and the kids’ rooms were such a bonus, our kids loved having a place to play and meet other kids. Most of all, the hospitality made the stay unforgettable. Owners Bruce and Emily along with the entire staff, were warm, welcoming, and genuinely wonderful. We can’t wait to come back.

We only had dinner. Very rustic and cozy. Food inconsistent. Family run and friendly but somewhat seat of the pants service. Some of our meals were a bit cold.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and wonderfully inviting. Our bedroom was cozy and comfortable the perfect retreat after a day of adventure and the staff went above and beyond, always proactive and attentive to every detail. Chef Jenn’s fresh-baked scones and the incredible variety of breakfast options were the perfect way to start each morning. Thanks to recommendations from fellow guests, we filled our days with cross-country skiing, a visit to a local brewery, and exploring the charming nearby towns such a perfect Vermont getaway! Each evening, dinner was a true highlight. Chef John’s elevated, elegant menu along with a scrumptious nightly special made every meal feel like a special occasion. The hospitality here is simply unmatched. Bruce and Emily were so kind, helpful, and genuinely invested in making our stay unforgettable. This was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. We can’t recommend a weekend at the Landgrove highly enough we’re already dreaming about our return!

We were delighted and charmed by our overnight visit at this cozy Inn. The location was perfect for our ski trip, between Okemo and Mt. Snow. Landgrove is a sparsely settled Vermont locale off the beaten track from some of the more well known areas, tucked in a beautiful valley with old farmhouses and few commericial establishments. The staff were warm, friendly and engaging, and the food was outstanding--as were the drinks. Our room had an old school charm, exceptionally clean and maintained, with a great library. We've stayed a mulitple New England B & B's and Inns over the years and this ranks right at the top.

We drove through a full-on winter storm to get to Landgrove and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. From the moment we walked in, the warmth of this place just wraps around you — the inn is absoluetly charming, like something out of a storybook, and the dining room has this cozy, intimate magic that’s hard to put into words. What really won us over was how genuinely welcoming they were with our kids. There’s an adorable little play area right next to the dining space — pure genius for parents trying to actually enjoy a meal — and our servers were incredible. Not just polite, but truly playful and engaged with the little ones like they actually meant it. Kids meals were complimentary with adult entrees which was such a thoughtful touch. The food and wine were lovely, and the hospitality was the kind you remmember long after the meal is over. This isn’t just a restaurant, it’s an experience. Landgrove has earned a permanent spot in our family’s favorites — we’re already planning our next visit, hopefully with an overnight stay at the inn next time!

Fantastic little inn close enough to Stratton mountain for convenience, far enough to be off the beaten track still. Really hospitable staff (and their lovely cat!); our meals were great especially the early morning breakfast with fresh apple pie scones. 10/10 would come again, great value under recent new owners.

Incredible Inn! We were blew away by how much attention the owners put for every single detail. My whole family loved it! I personally felt I was in South-Tyrol. A home far away from home. Delicious home-made breakfast too. My daughter enjoyed the play area, my son enjoyed the books. And both enjoyed to play with the cat. Super Kind host!

My boyfriend and I had another amazing, relaxing, and entertaining weekend spent at the lovely and wholesome Landgrove Inn. After staying at the inn for the first time just a few weeks ago, we quickly realized that this will (and indeed is) one of our favorite places. The whole crew and the community at the Landgrove is beyond kind, caring, and full of the jokes and banter! We truly appreciate the community that is centered around the inn and would like to thank Bruce, Emily, Mike, and Co. for another fantastic stay. We will see y’all soon!

We met friends in the bar and cozied up by the fire to catch up, which instantly set the tone for a perfect evening. The cocktails were delicious, and Becky went above and beyond by custom-making mine! We then moved into the dining room for dinner, and everything we had was absolutely delicious. From start to finish, it was a wonderful experience and truly a perfect night at The Landgrove

Landgrove completely exceeded all my expectations. After a full day of skiing in Vermont, this place was exactly what we needed—comfortable, welcoming, and thoughtfully put together. The food was delicious, and the breakfast was honestly a highlight of the stay—fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to start a ski day. Everything about the experience felt warm and well cared for. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Upon arrival I was greeted by owners Bruce and Emily, handed a refreshing beverage, and served a three course meal (toscana soup, salad with chicken, beef and homemade gnocchi) by the amazing, albeit snowed in chefs. This is authentic family style (literally!) lodging. The owners shared that they recently took over the inn and you can feel the heart and soul they are rejuvenating it with. A major part of The Landgrove is the connection it has to artists and the event space that is utilized to host events. There is local beautiful art throughout the spaces. The next morning after a delicious breakfast and coffee Bruce took me on a short snowshoe on the trails he is clearing. I will be back, and not soon enough. Came for the proximity to Magic and Bromley mountain, stayed for the pups, family, mermaids and jewels (when you visit..you’ll find out.) If I could muster to lodge one complaint, I just missed out on one of Jenn’s fresh scones. **Please don’t forget to tip the piano player**

Great service, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast and surprisingly they have good selection of beer

The Landgrove represents all the best of Vermont… great location for outdoor sports, support of the arts, and rustic living. The Landgrove is a destination in itself. The most delicious scones were served and Bruce made the best drinks. No need to go anywhere else for meals- everything was amazing and tailored to any dietary needs. The Landgrove is perfect for retreats, workshops, and family reunions- multiple rooms and very clean! The WiFi works well around the inn and barn so work can still be done. The whole property is worth exploring and its surrounding towns. The Vermont Country Store is only 10 minutes away. The Landgrove and the Haupt family are true gems in Vermont.

I can’t say enough good things about The Landgrove Inn. Bruce, Emily, and family were so welcoming. They are the perfect hosts. The staff was very knowledgeable about area skiing, dining, and other activities/attractions. The NYE buffet was delicious!

Excellent family friendly inn. We visited as a family of 13 with small kids who headed straight for the well- equipped playroom alongside the restaurant. New Year’s Day brunch was fabulous & served by the owner Emily & her great team. She & her husband have only been the owners for 2 months & they have great plans for this beautiful old inn. Sad we won’t sample the evening meals as we are leaving on Saturday but I’m sure we will return

We went for New Years Dinner. They greeted us at the door, brought us to the Lounge where they had appetizers. It was a beautiful spread with plenty of choices. Free complimentary drink. When our table was ready, they brought us in. They had music, wonderful buffet. The food was wonderful! Everyone was so friendly! We really enjoyed our time. Then they gave us 4 drink vouchers for our next visit!

My family and I are longtime customers of The Landgrove (Inn) since 2003 and we were excited to have New Year's Day 2026 brunch there. We met the new owner Bruce Haupt and complimented him on The Landgrove's increased social media presence with posts describing events there and in the area, as well as positive upgrades being made. The food and drinks were delicious and we can't wait to a return to this cozy Inn. We wish Bruce and Emily the best of luck as they shape the future of a much beloved establishment!

There is so much to say about this wonderful place and all of the lovely people that come with it! Bruce, Emily, Mike and all the support staff went above and beyond to create an inviting, intimate and unforgettable experience. The atmosphere, food and hospitality far exceeded my expectations. My husband and I plan take a trip back here in the spring. I love this place. Thank you for everything! ❤️

This is my second weekend in a row at The Landgrove, teaching yoga workshops and I couldn’t be happier with the hospitality, kindness, and flexibility of the new owners, Emily and Bruce. They made all of our participants feel well taken care of whether it was the delicious scones and cookies made lovingly by Jen, the scrumptious vegetarian options cooked and curated by Emily, or the creative cocktails by Bruce… everyone had a wonderful experience. Thank you! We’re already making plans to be back next year.

The Landgrove is a wonderful country get away. Emily and Bruce are wonderful hosts, they easily accommodated my vegan and gluten free diet. The Inn looks and feels charming. The food and cocktails are delicious. I will definitely be back. Shout out to Mike. Nancy, chef Chris and the rest of the staff.

I didn't even know it was possible for a hotel to be this bad. The doors on our rooms don't lock, and it was comical that the staff gave us keys that don't do anything. The walls are so thin you constantly hear sounds from other rooms and people entering the building. There are no amenities like a fridge or TV. They claim to provide wifi and give a password, but the bandwidth or signal is so bad that doing a simple google search works about 5% of the time, and when it does work it takes about 3 min to get a result. Forget about trying to get any news or getting any work done. There is also no cell service so you are completely cut off from any form of communication while you are here. It is a mystery to me how this place has generally positive reviews. I will absolutely never come here again and I hope to never have the misfortune of going to a similar hotel anywhere else.

My husband and I originally planned to dine at another restaurant in the area, but when we discovered it was closed, fate led us to the Landgrove Inn Restaurant—and what a fortunate turn of events that was! Nestled off the beaten path, this charming spot exceeded all expectations.||The evening's menu offered an array of tempting options, making it hard to choose. We started with a soup that was perfectly suited for a cold winter's night, followed by the crispy roast duckling, which was simply superb. My husband’s pork chop was equally delicious and expertly prepared. To finish, we indulged in homemade desserts: a creamy panna cotta and a decadent chocolate cake.||Chef Chris Strecker worked culinary magic, crafting a meal that was nothing short of marvelous, and our waitress provided exceptional service, adding warmth to the experience.||We will undoubtedly return to this hidden gem.

This is my home away from home. We come here every summer and have decided to spend Christmas here!! How exciting!!! Carrie and Pamela are the best and we just LOVE them. Chef Chris is always cooking up scrumptious dinners and mom or Tom sling a fabulous breakfast…included in your stay!! Tom the owner is always so helpful and accommodating. It is a rustic Inn with old world charm. 5 stars doesn’t compare it to the Ritz but it’s 5 star to me ❤️❤️. If you come here in the summer around the 4th of July you will see our Texas flag flying! Come stay here for an off the grid rustic experience.

My husband and I stayed at the Landgrove Inn this week while cross country skiing on the nearby Catamount Trail. We were the only guests at the Inn during our two day stay and Tom went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He picked us up in a snowstorm after a challenging ski and upgraded us to a large and beautiful room with a mini fridge and cozy gas fireplace. We enjoyed dinner at the Inn on our first night and breakfast both mornings. We learned that the Landgrove Valley is one of the best places to cross-country ski in Vermont and we will definitely return to the Inn if the opportunity arises!

The Landgrove has fast become a family favorite over the years. We have been more than a dozen times for dinner, their menu has a simple elegance as does the meal. Nothing too fussy, just good quality meals that everyone can find something-even the pickiest of eaters. We held a rehearsal dinner the night prior to my brother’s wedding (30 people) and everything was wonderful. The dining room and bar area give a quaint warm Vermont vibe. Tom & Kerry really put the cherry on top of hospitality. Thank you!!!! From the Coffey family|P.S. don’t skip the dessert.

Charming, warm and inviting. I am a New England Guide and I just love this Inn. The food is excellent and the staff is wonderful. It is indeed a special place that is close to a number of attractions. The only problem is that once you are there you just don't want to leave. If you are looking for a real Vermont experience the Landgrove Inn is a MUST.|

We had a great dinner tonight. My first time there, and I will definitely be going back. Carrie took very good care of us throughout the meal, and the chef - Chris - came out and introduced himself. It was very easy to see why so many people say such wonderful things about this place. It is quiet and out of the way - a bit tough to get to this time of year, but definitely worth the effort. The food was extraordinary!

We were only there for dinner but WONDERFUL! Its fall so the drive there was fantastic: color and contrast. Once enter the dining room, you know you are ready for a Vermont treat and it starts with a conversation and welcoming hospitality. The food is hearty and flavorful served professionally: nothing exciting but that is not why we are there. We both were impressed with the freshness. Suggest have the bean soup and the bread pudding. Go back? Absolutely!

We really enjoyed our recent stay during a March snowstorm and ski weekend at Magic. We were able to make a last minute reservation, and while we didn't make it for dinner, we had a great evening relaxing in the lounge. The service was extremely welcoming and friendly. The place is dripping with coziness, with all the wood, comfortable seating, and fireplace. Breakfast was delicious. Late night cookies and tea were a welcome bonus. I stayed here with my boys, and they loved it and asked if we can go back ..

This was our first time at the lodge as part of a group ski trip. The accommodations were very comfortable. Our room was a nice size and very clean. It was quiet and had a great bed. There were common areas where guests gathered to socialize, relax, play games and do puzzles. The breakfasts were good with several choices and the dinners excellent. Tom and his staff were friendly and polite. We went to cross country ski and enjoyed three different locations within 5 miles with groomed trails, ranging from beginner to advanced. |We plan to return next year!
