Chimney Point Historic Museum in
Addison Township (VT)

A nice local museum that does an excellent job of explaining the historic significance of the site. As a plus the porch and grounds are great for relaxing and enjoying the view.

Staff is so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable!! Loved being able to check out so many artifacts and old places! Learned a lot that social media DOES NOT TEACH YOU! Gotta get out and check the things out yourself!

What an interesting museum! The staff is wonderful, the displays are educational and interesting, I learned many things I never knew before. Stop here when you are in the area!

This is a quaint little museum with wonderful views of lake Champlain. I would give yourself about an hour to do the whole museum, as it is not very large. I highly recommend walking across the bridge and seeing the ruins of the old forts on the other side also (crown point).

Me and my mom took a car ride to Vt to see my grandparents Gravesite like we do every year but this year we took the brige to new york state there was a museum on the Vt. Side and on the other side there was a light house both Historic and cool to see check them out by

A beautiful Vermont State Historic Site with great views of the lake and of the past.

Nice museum right next to the bridge to NY and the Bridge Cafe. Docent had answers to our questions and gave a good introduction to the museum.

A must see for history buffs.

A beautiful open area with historic ruins. Definitely worth visiting.
