Staffs are unknowledgeable about services and whereabouts of your vehicle. If I can give zero I would, lucky the lowest I could give is one star. Plus Kaycee is so rude. Stay away from this company.

Lost recover does an amazing job at detailing vehicles I would highly recommend

The people seemed nice and professional. Easily picked up. No hate for their business. They left the entirety of my car with black marks on the interior. I don't know if they thought it was theirs or if that is just protocol at this zoo. Not even my animals would dirty it up that bad.

As soon as I walked in they were very welcoming, and upfront. I’ve been in the business of cars for years, and have never had a good experience with tow truck companies They were very upfront, honest, and knew it wasn’t a great time for me to be there. They helped me fill up air in the tire that was flat, and even gave me the solution to tow it to MY choice of a tire shop. This is the only tow truck company I will do business with. As well as my friends, family, and everyone I know. Thank you.

Casey was great to work with. Very understanding and empathetic of our situation. Was willing to allow us to take our time and didn't rush us. Great company to work with

They were fine. They don't expect a lot and you better know exactly what you are looking for. They allow you all the time you want to take to look at their vehicles through America first credit Union repossession. They could do better with customer service, but they answered any questions I had

Lost recovery is the absolute best. My daughter’s car was broke down. They showed up fast got it to the shop. I’ve used them in the past as well and every time , they have been very professional fast and easy. Would recommend using loss recovery for any kind of towing experience!

They come to my home to do a reposition for AFCU in the middle of the night. When I ask them to show me proof that they are a real company working for AFCU, they can’t. They don’t have proof of license to operate in Utah, they don’t have liability insurance and at this point I don’t know if they really works for AFCU. Be careful with this guys. They didn’t take my car because they don’t have any reason to do it or proof that they can.

On July 10th the driver of truck# 58 came into our lane on a 2 lane left turn and struck our car. The driver immediately got out of the truck and started screaming at my wife, and blowing smoke in her face. He was unprofessional and very aggressive. I spoke with Casey at the company and they refused to take responsibility. Traffic cameras will show them at fault but they chose not to conduct any kind of accident investigation. I advised the company even if they don’t accept the claim they should do something about the driver. Casey just said what do you suggest I do Mr know it all, he was very rude. It’s clear that the unsafe behavior stems from their poor management. They allow unsafe drivers to stay on the road just to save a buck on a claim. This is why we have such a bad reputation in the industry. What a poor safety culture, it’s really a shame.

If I could rate this experience lower I would rate it a 0! I had left some Christmas presents in the back of my car that got towed and they were very important. In that contained a gift card that was meant for us to go to dinner as a family for my husbands passed away mother and when I asked to come get my stuff they were very very nice and accommodating stating they don’t get rid of things until 30 days after but when I got my stuff it was completely torn apart which when it was picked up it was all packaged to the point where you would have to physically unwrap it and it wouldn’t “already be tore open”. worst experience ever. Hopefully someone enjoys a good meal though they probably needed it more than I do.

Their staff seems to be very rude and unprofessional, whom in Casey’s (the owner) eyes can’t do wrong. I had sent an email asking questions about my vehicle, to which I received replies not answering my questions, beating around the bush, and could’ve used a simple yes or no. I even received a reply that just stated my owed balance again. Nothing else. Take a moment to ask your coworkers questions, look into it, think about what you’re replying to and surely don’t write in alls caps and poor spacing the answer I finally needed. I called to make a complaint. Received the women who had sent the emails. She quickly and rudely rerouted me to Casey, the owner. I explained the situation and he said that it didn’t sound unprofessional or an issue. If an owner can’t recognize when his employees need a second to breathe, reread an email, and get to the point, he’s not doing his job well. Over all, I won’t be using this service ever again. There is no recovery for this one.

This is a terrible company. They are not trained properly on how to tow vehicles. They dragged our front wheel drive car over 25’ while in gear and broke our transmission. We paid over $700 for the tow. The transmission repair is almost $4000. To repair the damage they caused by the improper handling of the vehicle. They were also over an hour late on both of the appointments that they scheduled.

Extremely reckless and aggressive driver in the white truck with pink ribbons. Pulling out of maverick in Clearfield last week around 8 in the morning. The driver pulled right out into traffic nearly causing a wreck and almost took out a construction crew.

Lost recovery was the tow company that was dispatched to my son in laws fatal car accident. When I called the main office to make arrangements to get my son in laws possessions out of the pick up truck, the very polite receptionist transferred me to Casey. Casey is very professional and polite and his communication was great. Casey told me the highway patrol still had the truck and to call him back in a week. Called back and they had the truck. Casey met us at the West Haven location and was with us as we cleaned out the truck. The security that they have in place is great at the location. He was great about following the laws, rules, and company policies with a fatal vehicle accident (Many people where trying to gain access to the truck) and its security. He made sure that only the people that the insurance company and the attorneys said have access to the truck did. The employees at the West Haven location where great to work with and even came in early one morning so I could get the last few things out. I would highly recommend! Thank you Casey and thank you to your awesome team!

Went there the other day to look at an American first credit Union repossession car. The front end office workers were very friendly and good to work with. The guy in the lot, Bryce I think was his name, was great to work with. The car battery was dead and he got a little jumper device to make it so I could start the engine. Anyway, overall a good experience.

The guy that sits on the left as you walk into the Ogden location isn't a customer service pleasing individual. The business card it's self only has company name and website on the front and 4 different locations on the back. He starts getting mean with me when I suggested that the tow truck driver circle the location of the car to be able to go to the correct place. He was like " how did you find this location, this Ogden Utah location isn't anywhere on the card" That gentleman is seriously lacking some serious customer service skills, it's not that hard to be. The guy at the true correct location was polite and nice and helpful. He's a great guy, even if he truly might never get to meet the drivers or owners of the cars he's use to getting. To that guy your a great person you need to be recognized for the work you do and the scenes your dispatched to

These guys are so helpful! I called early morning hoping to get a vehicle towed for our property as soon as possible, and they had a truck to me 30 minutes later! So responsive and so easy. Drake was great, friendly and got it taken care of quickly. Will definitely be using in the future.

Hooked up to my car, but saw how heavily modified it was and knocked on the door before taking it due to the damage that would happen from our steep driveway. Were willing to sit and wait while I figured everything out with the bank on my phone. It's my birthday. Best birthday present was those two guys and their patience. My car and I owe them some beer.

Called Casey for a tow on a Sunday (Halloween) and Codey drove from Ogden to Salt Lake and messed with the battery and fuses until he was able to help us get the car started to drive home and save on the tow. I highly recommend Lost Recovery, great service!

They towed my car to the salt lake location after a car accident and made it nearly impossible to get my vehicle back stating I never released it to my insurance company’s tow truck. Next they said I was missing other paperwork when they had me put it in THEIR mailbox since it’s basically a house and they weren’t home at approx 1:30 on a weekday so they could release my car they were holding hostage!! They ended up getting an additional $300+ due to their errors and theirs alone! Poor business practices!

!!! CUSTOMER BEWARE !!! I don’t think I’ve had a worse experience doing business in my life. To the point where I now have to get the police and a lawyer involved because this company was so unprofessional and screwed up so many steps along the way. I became very ill during 2020 which wound me up in the hospital, and through circumstance had to use Lost Recovery’s services. From the get go my friend was almost hit by the tow truck, who drove erratically with little disregard for safety. My car was scratched and scuffed while being secured. While my car was in their possession they took it to one of their yards and stripped parts off of it similar to a chop shop. They also went through and removed all my high value items, brand new electronics, brand new boots, tools, work bags and equipment, and to top it off my prescription medications went missing. They opened my mail, went through my records, and threw my paperwork all over my car. I assume looking for money, more valuables, or perhaps more prescription drugs. They left all my property that couldn’t be potentially resold or traded for who knows what. I assume this was to use as the alibi they gave that “...we never got into your car because an electrical problem...” which conflicts with the response I was given a week later that they did take my stuff by threw it away now. I also wonder if the electrical problem was caused by all the open wiring they left in my car which was sparking and shorting out almost causing electrical fires while I drove my car home. This whole experience has been a nightmare, and an eye opening lesson on taking professionalism as granted. I’m not fooled by the pink ribbons painted on their trucks, for while I was extremely sick and my health was at one of the lowest points of my life this company took advantage of that. It’s very disheartening to see people treating each other this way, especially during the pandemic. I wanted to believe we were all in this together, but Lost Recovery towing has shown me that not all of us are. Some institutions and group are completely self serving and out to only help themselves, regardless of the cost to others.

I have used this company over the years and they have always been fair and fastest to location. The owner is a very good guy that works super hard and sometimes is the one answering calls. Will definitely use this company for anything I need towed in the future.

Our car was broke down in Ogden. We called Lost Recovery and they were there quickly and had our car towed to the shop without incident. They were fast, friendly and professional.

They didnt give out the full information when calling 2 times to ask what is needed to pick up my vehicle from them today. Had to make extra trips back to the company. Make sure to let your customers know when they call EVERYTHING that is needed in order to get your vehicle.

Had to pay $30 to get belongings back and didn't get all of the belongings! There was a stroller missing and all the paperwork for the car was gone, and they tore the license plates off so that they can't be put back on the car which is going to cost $10 to get new ones! Whoever has to deal with this company I'm sorry! They will take what they want of your stuff and throw away the test then lie straight to your face that they didn't steal your belongings! The only reason they got one star is because I couldn't post my review without one

Dishonest, Rude and would not take responsibility for their actions. They are responsible for the contents of all vehicles they tow, and someone took a handgun and tarp from my vehicle when they towed and stored it. When confronted, they had the owner, Casey, call me to discuss the matter. First he denied that there was such an item in the vehicle. Then he said I should have come and taken my things from the vehicle the moment it was towed. I asked why that should matter. My brother, who talked to the receptionist, was told all items were secure. I was blamed for the item being stolen. Then he denied that the item was even in the vehicle in the first place, saying it was my word against theirs and their was no proof of it being in there because they video everything in the vehicles. Really? How hard is it to take an item out before videoing something? Then, when asked about the tarp, he said they threw it away. I asked why, it was personal property. He said they throw everything away after 30 days. I said it hadn't been 30 days so why would they do that. I said he had no business throwing anything away that wasn't theirs. He said they thought it was junk. I said it wasn't junk, it wasn't theirs to throw away. He said it was a mistake. I think someone used it to conceal the gun as they took it from the truck and then threw it away. That seems pretty obvious to me. He said he would replace it. I want him to replace my gun. He was rude, defensive, and awful and clearly dishonest. Do not use this disgusting place. Heed my warning. If you want to keep a good reputation, DO NOT USE THEM!! You may not realize that someone you are towing might have valuables in their vehicle, and these people are the scum of the earth. They will likely take it. Don't be responsible for this kind of thing.

This company is completly unreliable. I called for a tow and she told me it would be an hour but would call if it changed. She never called. So i called after waiting an hour and a half. She then told me it would be an additional 45 minutes. After another hour and half i called again, we had been waiting 3 hours. I told them if they couldn’t be here to tow in ten minutes then we would have to cancel. He said go ahead and cancel. I explained i had waited over 3 hours and this was very discourteous and i would not be using there service ever again. He said ok, and hung up the phone. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They do not care about the customer. I called another tow company and they showed up in 20 minutes. Go with someone else.

Horrible company! Damages vehicles, take a pic after the damage is done claiming it was there before even when witnessed. You ask who is going to pay for damages they ignore you, you tell them they have to they get hostile. Don't give any papers, made sign before saw the vehicle, crooks all the way around! Ratings on fb of 2 stars makes perfect sense,Don't trust this company!!

We broke down on a Friday around 6pm and called our mechanic (Extreme Auto, Centerville, Utah). They called their tow contact, Lost Recovery. Everything went so smooth. We want to give these two companies a big thanks for their quick help in a stressful situation. <3!

Had to drive 2 hours to the ogden location pay a fee and when i was finally able to get my belongs that they had already cleared from my car i noticed my prescriptions were missing. Got home and realized my expensive prescription sunglasses were missing as well as my garage door opener and my car insurance information. They said they would talk to the owners son and call me. They haven't followed through with anything. Extremely upset.
