I went to pick up my car from impound and it was visibly damaged. The police report from when the vehicle was towed stated there was no visible damage. The staff chose to deny any fault, even tho they had no photos of the car before it was towed. They are supposed to take photos of the vehicle prior to towing. The staff was more than incredibly rude, and decided to cuss me out and invade my personal space to be threatening. The mark left on the dent was blue. Their only excuse for this was “we don’t have anything blue in the lot”. I spotted multiple blue pieces of equipment and vehicles they could have hit. I have filed a police report against this company, and I would discourage anyone from using their service. Maybe if the business owner was less invested in replying to google reviews calling them “fraudulent” and more invested in providing quality service, they would have a higher rating. I would rate them 0 stars if that were possible on Google.
This is actually a scam. Took my money, i received no service or call or anything and haven’t gotten my money back. That’s $137 that I won’t ever get back
This is one of the worst tow companies to deal with. They make it so difficult for you to get cars towed unless you pay them and they also collect from the car towed. Worst customer service as well.

I scheduled tow service thru online and paid $20 more for expedite arriving. It said for $20, service will arrive in 2 hours.
Tow truck didn't arrive in 20 minutes, and status in the online showed 20 minutes, and then 13 minutes, and the 4 minutes. It even showed truck's location on the map. But the tow truck didn't come in time, and status showed 21 minutes remaining again.
I tried to call driver (there is a button on the page), but machine said the driver is not in action or something. I tried to contact the ture tow, but only machine answered and hanged up call.
I clicked the cancel button in the page, and it forwarded customer service button. No cancel confirmation text, no refund text.
I called the customer service number, and no one picked up. Just same machine, said use online for scheduling.
I searched all over the internet, and ended up Honk sevive somehow. She said a tow driver picked up the request and it required 50 minutes.
50 minutes? Really? Then what was the 20, 13, 4 minutes status?
Because I clicked the cancel button, the request was canceled. I asked renew the request, they said it will take another 30 minutes. No driver number and name. I got another tow service #.
I asked reinbursing $20, and she said I can't without canceling request.
But guess what? Truck didn't show up, and I cannot contact them. I canceled again.
Worst...
Scheduled a tow....never showed up. Rescheduled for the next day they canceled with no call. No number to speak with anyone... Terrible service and no concern for the customer at all...
Not reliable outside of cook county. Charged me before the tow came when the website said it wasn’t going to charge until the tow actually happened. They had me wait from 6am to 9am to tell me they couldn’t come.
This third and fourth party system charged me $137 for a service that was only suppose to move my vehicle to an address 600 feet away from where the car was. They did not offer a quote, they IMMEDIATELY charged my credit card without letting me how much they were going to charge me.
To add to their incompency, instead of the address I requested, they sent the vehicle to an address that was 13 miles away. Then I had to pay another company to relocate the vehicle back to where I originally wanted it to be.
When I called True Towing, another third party billing company from India answered the call and refused to assist me with the refund. Instead of forwarding to me to True Towing, they said that True Towing does not have a phone number to transfer me to, so instead they transferred me to an State Farm Insurance phone bank.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!
Most likely its not even an American company, rather some foreign computer link third party that charges extra to link you to an ACTUAL TOWING company that you should have called in the first place.
The lady on the phone on Thursday March 23 she sounded Mexican was unhelpful very impatient, rude and also rushed me off the phone and hung up on me . She will in the future be a liability for the business…someone will want to slap the smart mouth out of her
Made the mistake of calling True without seeing they are merely a referral service. Quoted me $225 (which I declined) and immediately called an acrual tow company. Price was $95.
One of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. I paid online and requested my tow, and they were very quick to charge my card. From there, I was paired with a tow truck that was said to arrive in 30 minutes. I was relieved and happy.
The wait time changed to 873 mins. I called the tow truck driver (which is an option on the app) and he told me that the call was cancelled and he told True Towing.
I called True Towing upset and confused because I received ZERO notification that my call was cancelled. I was left stranded thinking help was on the way.
I spoke to an agent who showed some concern but was ultimately incompetent. I was placed on hold twice, and was then told that a new dispatch was sent and will be with me shortly. Seconds after the call disconnects, I receive a text that my service is cancelled and I will be refunded in 3-5 business days.
Not only was I completely misinformed and mistreated, but my money was taken by the company and will be held for a delay.
I would urge to stay away from this service as much as you can.
This company is a total fraud. My car broke down on the side of the highway. I contacted them they took $151 out of my account and then messaged me 10 minutes later saying that they didn’t have any contracts in my area so my tow was canceled and funds would be refunded in 3-5 business days. So now I’m still stuck on the side of the road and out of $151. Do not use this company.
They should not accept your payment until a tow has been confirmed. We set up a tow and after about 10 minutes, it said I was refunded my 169.00 in which I did not receive a refund. It will actually take 3-5 business days. I'm glad it wasn't my last. If your strapped for funds don't do True Towing, it was a waste of time and money gone for a few days now.
So I called on 8-17-21 to get a quote for a tow from Farr west to north salt lake and the quote was $320 less then ams towing and $55 less then Ogden auto towing. The lady quoted me $120, I call today to schedule it and she tells me I would never have quoted that price and that she doesn’t go to salt lake for less than $150. I was all for it until you blatantly lie about a price and then call me a liar. It’s extremely unprofessional and I was really looking forward to using their services. Unfortunately I will never use them after being told a set price and then told I’m a liar and that the price they gave me isn’t true.. Get BETTER “True Towing”.

Wouldnt come onto base to help with a tow. Offered to get it to the south gate they told me they have to cancel the tow still tried to help so I will give them 2 stars
While driving to a birthday party, the serpentine belt on my car snapped. Luckily I coasted into the parking lot of my destination. Was trying to figure out how to get it to the shop we love (9 miles away) checked my insurance and we have roadside. It sent us to True Towing. I couldn’t think of a better experience to have had if you have to have a car towed. Cody showed up with about 15 minutes of the claim being solidified. He was friendly, kind and thorough. He explained to us why he was doing what he was doing and did a great job of getting the car loaded in a timely fashion. I would call True Towing again in a heartbeat! Thank you for making a stressful situation a breeeze!
We needed a tow last night and True Towing got the call from our insurance. He called very quickly and said that he would be there in 15 min. He was very friendly and had the car loaded up and on it's way! We were very impressed and we have saved his number in case we need a tow truck in the future!
