Excellent service and pricing. I was on a road trip staying overnight in Torrey and had a flat tyre. Despite the fact that they were busy they fixed two punctures straight away so I could continue on my journey.
They were so pleasant and helpful as well as providing a reliable service at a very reasonable price. Ben driving on the tyre and no problems.
The lady I spoke with to make arrangements for new tires didn't have good communication skills, and then was going to sell outdated tires from their stock. All the guys in the shop were great though. They communicated well, were friendly and got the new tires we were expecting put on.
We were overheating on our way home from a long camper trip. They took the time to look at my truck right away, and soon diagnosed the problem - a hornet's nest (?) nestled between the radiator and the engine, glued together with red desert silt. Dennis, I think, is a great guy and great mechanic.
M&D Auto IS THE BEST!!! They fixed my A/C system when no one else could and 2 years later it's still blowing ice cold!🤘😁🤘
Let me just tell you how awesome this business is! I took my Mitsubishi to Mike's Auto in Richfield (don't ever go there!) because my A/C system was leaking. Whatever they did there at Mike's Auto completely clogged my A/C system, because after I got it back I could no longer even recharge my A/C system (whereas before I could, but it would just leak out). So Mike's Auto tells me I need a whole new A/C system and quotes me almost $2800!
So then, I bring my car to M&D and these guys are AMAZING!!! The did a system analysis and confirmed that after what Mike's Auto did to my car, that the system was plugged and needed several new components. But their quote came in at $1300 and they fixed my A/C perfectly! 2 years later it's still going strong and every time I use it, I'm thankful for M&D Auto! Thank you M&D 🤘😁🤘
Can't sing high enough praises of these folks. Had a flat from the gravel parking lot of a pretentious restaurant in Boulder. Limped to Bicknell on a donut. They pulled off the tire, removed the sharp little gravel piece and had me back on the road within 45 minutes. A gem of a shop in a remote area!
Towing a trailer from Massachusetts and visiting the national parks. We needed brake work done. The gal I spoke with said they were busy but if we could leave it they’d try and fit us in! They went above and beyond to accommodate us and got it done very quickly!! We were back on the road in an hour and a half! The mechanic was very thorough and did an excellent job! I was staying in Hanksville, UT last week exploring canyons and national parks when we had a flat tire. If you know the area, it is very remote. Tire places are VERY hard to come by. But, this place fit us in right away and had the tire I needed in stock. Very friendly and knowledgable staff. Highly recommend.
Saw the check engine light on in our rental car while on vacation. Had a nice person scan and check everything thoroughly, he hasnt charged us too!! Very good service!
On vacation and my check engine light came on. The nice guy behind the counter scanned my car and found 3 minor problems. He cleared the codes and gave me a print out of the codes. He didn't even charge for the service. Wonderful place. I would come back again.
These guys saved our bacon. Had a flat tire. They fixed it with a patch in an hour. We were then able to continue with our canyon trip.

This M& D auto shop is corrupt, PLEASE PLEASE don’t bring your ATV or vehicle here.
I just had to pick my vehicle up with problem worse and not resolved.
They didn’t call me to verify the problem or get my pre authorization on the work first they just did what they thought and charged me for a New Air filter that “I needed”.
They Never called me to say it was even done, I had to call in weeks later.
Then they thought I must not have had engine knowledge or another sucker, but a few months back I personally witnessed my brand new air filter going in and yet when I dropped it off here, several people assured me they had to clean it as part of their service and then they decided it needed a new one of theirs without talking to me first and insist I pay that on the bill.
I witnessed it going in recently brand new.
I called out their lies in shop today and now have to transport to somewhere else.
Then they charged me $150 to clean out my gas tank I didn’t need (or ask me first for it) and insisted that I now had to pay for it when I was presented the bill and the problem not even fixed.
Micheal mechanic was fillpant and unprofessional didn’t care to actually fix the problem after these charges.
Also said he’d just drain the gas back out of it then leave me stranded at the shop.
I escalated this bad business to the owner Cade, give him a chance to make it right and his response was very poor wasn’t to make it “right or keep fixing it and move forward, it was “fine we will drain our gas back out and take the air filter too.”
Even the owner will make things worse if you have a problem arise.
I was belittled and left with a problem bigger than what I brought in.
PLEASE if you need another recommend I’ve taken my past business to Ellet servicing in Loa or Thousand lakes auto in Torrey.
I have been to both those shops and they were honest and more fairly priced.
Seems like a common theme here. While out on a cross country camping trip like half the other reviewers here my wheel bearing on the front left side of my truck went bad. These guys were able to get the parts in the next morning and fit me in to their morning schedule so I could pick the truck back up by lunch. Great service, fair prices and honest people.
Traveling through S. Utah on vacation when my truck broke down. M&D had the part I needed and managed to fit me into the schedule and get me back on the road the same day. Great service and reasonable fee. Thanks to Michael and Vanessa for turning a potential vacation-ender into a positive experience.
Good mechanics, good parts service, and good UPS dropoff location. M&D used to be open 1/2 a day on Saturdays, which helped when you need parts on the weekend, but apparently, they're closed on weekends now.
We got a nail stuck in our tire and it was slowly deflating! We just drove to this shop and they fixed it within the hour! Friendly and easy! It was cheaper than our other option so we were happy and felt safe continuing our journey :)
What a friendly group of people ... thanks a lot! My RV broke down this morning in Capitol Reef NP, and I drove off in search for a place to repair it so we could keep going.

These friendly folks saved my bacon when my Jeep’s water pump went out during a cross-country camping trip. Despite being busy they jumped through hoops to find the needed parts and got me back on the road with my group the same morning the parts arrived. I can’t say enough good things about the small-town experience reminiscent of my youth. And the price was very, very reasonable!
Super friendly staff! We were passing through and just needed an oil change so our car didn't blow up. Reasonable price and I was happy with the service.
We were visiting the Capitol Reef National Park, pulling our fifth wheel camper and our Ford F-350 started leaking oil. We made it to this shop and Bryson was able to figure out what was wrong. He made the repair having to climb into the hood as we were parked on the road because of the camper hooked up! Very professional and polite! So very thankful!!!

Got a flat-tire driving off in the Grand Staircase and they fixed it quickly. The price was fair and service friendly enough. Anything that gets us back on the road fast while on vacation is worth 5-stars for sure!
Based on my experience would unreservedly recommend this car repair shop. Owner diagnosed and repaired a long-standing problem with my car that had so far eluded the competence of other repair shops. Despite a busy Saturday morning I got prompt service at a very fair price. And my car seems to be doing well, fingers crossed!
Really liked the quick service and response to our car repair required. Bryson was very courteous and quick to get us back on the road even though it was a busy Saturday morning. He squeezed us in to get us going in 30 minutes and done using higher level methods where other shops might cut corners and costs. Thanks M & D. It was appreciated and your rates were spot on.
We where on vacation in Torrey Utah from Austin Texas. On our way to Torrey my A/C went out half way. I took my 2010 Ford F-250 to Parts City and found out my compressor and drier went out. They ordered up the parts and I dropped it off that Friday, the day before we left. The guys stayed after hours and got my truck blowing colder than ever. I can’t say enough about everyone there. From the phone call to the mechanic everyone was absolutely amazing and friendly. I had spent 10 years in the auto industry selling and writing service tickets. What Parts City has is A+ from top to bottom. Thank you so much.
Would give 10 stars if I could, these guys are fantastic. We are from Chicago. Our car broke down nearby on a family road trip to the national parks. It was the Saturday before Easter and we were trying to get home. They towed us to the shop, had the part we needed, and got us back on our way in under 3 hours, stayed past when they were planning to close the shop. We could easily have been stuck there all weekend if not longer. Friendly and trustworthy. Also, one of them is a beekeeper and they sell great locally-produced honey!
These guys were nice and they were helpful. I was going to rate four stars because a single truck tire was $170 when I got a flat. However, they let me borrow their floor jack, side by side vehicle, and stayed open late until I got my tire fixed. I give 5 stars due to that. Plus, it's probably the most resourceful place you'll see around that area. Pricey but when you are in a rural town and in trouble, they came to the rescue.
After driving in from Los Angeles, I realized that I had a brake light out. I saw the store and pulled in, ( even though it was after they had closed. I walked up to the window and peered in , someone graciously opened the door and asked what we needed. After giving them my make and model, they had me a bulb in no time and even showed me how to change it out,since my vehicle had "hidden" screws to remove the assembly. They were nice, polite, and allowed us to buy a needed part, even though they were technically closed. All that ,. and we weren't even locals. not to mention, the bulb cost less there than at Auto Zone! I probably won't be back for a year, but if I need anything at all will go here. Kind and personable people.
I needed to write a review to hopefully offset the other 1 star review. Kade and Weston, employees of M & D, are also on Wayne County Search and Rescue, along with Michael. We got stuck in a bit of snow and the road gave out on us leaving us in a situation that could potentially be fatal. Not only did they rescue us off the mountain that night, the next day they were the ONLY service that were willing to help us out. We talked to 2 other companies that our insurance sent to us that refused to help even though we requested M&D, I seriously doubt anyone else would have had the knowledge and skill to safely get the truck off the mountain and in a position to drive back home. Watching them do their work was no different than watching an artist. They even met us by the freeway and drove us up, knowing the correct road so that we could recover the vehicle. We had no other option and I couldn't have asked for a better one, insurance or not (hopefully with of course). Kade and Weston saved us twice. They aren't just tow truck drivers, they are Search and Rescue, EMT's, firefighter's, and heroes. I highly recommend them, unlike I have ever recommended any company to a whole other degree, and cannot wait to return and show my appreciation the next time I head down.
