You can't beat the location, the food is wonderful, the ambiance is exactly what you'd imagine and the scenery will take our breath away every morning. you can literally park you car and forget about it 10+ hikes immediately surrounding the lodge. Book early and eat a big buffet breakfast there every morning!

ponderosa lodge was a great value and no complaints about it. Great for canyon / Zion driving; would’ve liked a shovel for the ice/snow on deck/chairs/steps though.

In Short: Awesome location with comfortable, spacious and clean rooms This was the perfect choice for staying within Zion NP. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean...plenty of room to spread out and get cozy during the stay. The staff was helpful during some pretty crazy weather events.

Stayed in the lodge. Food there was good. LOVED THE BREAKFAST BUFFET BISCUITS AND GRAVY !!! Zion is a scenic park. Be sure to see the other side past the tunnel - for about 5 miles.

If you don't plan to sleep stay here. I was really disappointed with my stay at Zions Lodge Hotel in Springdale. The walls and ceilings are paper thin — you can hear everything happening upstairs. Every step, every movement, late-night noise… it felt like there was no insulation at all. Not exactly what you want after a long day hiking. I brought the noise issue up to the front desk, and while they acted like they cared in the moment, nothing was actually done about it. No follow-up, no room change, nothing. Just lip service. The “breakfast” was also extremely underwhelming. It’s basically a bag with a frozen bagel and a yogurt. That’s it. For the price they charge, I expected something far better than a grab-and-go bag that feels like an afterthought. They also provide an after-hours phone number, but no one answers it. What’s the point of having it if you can’t reach anyone when you actually need help? Overall, it’s far too expensive for what it offers. Between the noise, lack of response from staff, and minimal amenities, I definitely don’t feel it was worth the price. I wouldn’t stay here again.

You are paying for convenience when staying here. The views are amazing. I was impressed with the lodge and places to stay are limited in the park so it's nearly $500-$700 a night for a 1970 room. The park is beautiful!

Amazing lodge to stay at. Very good prices, and an amazing view to go along with it. The breakfast was pretty good. The lodge is only a few min drive from the park itself. The staff were super friendly and if they try to convince you there are bison, they’re lying! ???

Great location. Spacious room. OK service (no housekeeping unless you stay for more than 3 nights)

This lodge is pretty good. We arrived at dusk, so we couldn’t see a thing. The front desk was helpful, and the rooms were not bad. I really liked the front porch, and the bathrooms were nice. However, the shower water was kind of small. The WiFi was also kind of shaky. The location is great, with the lodge next to a bus stop.

Awesome location. Great staff.. room was okay. Roof of patio was leaking and we couldn’t use patio at all. We stayed in watchman 122 and it would have been great if we could have used patio.

We stayed two nights in one of the cottages, reasonable accommodations. We had dinner in Red Rock Grill... food was mediocre and the service the first night was unpleasant. However, the second night was terrific, the food was still the same, but the service was outstanding, which made for a delightful experience. Chanchanok, our server, was extraordinary, she made a rather "low expectation evening" simply wonderful. Lovely conversation about the menu and the area was an unexpected highlight.

For the high price I paid I expected higher standards. Yet the coffee pot still had the last guest’s leftovers! It was gross. And the wash cloth was not clean upon arrival.

Zion Lodge is in the perfect location. You can walk right across the road to the Emerald Pools trailhead, or take a quick 5-minute drive to the Pa’rus trail and 10–12 minutes to the Temple of Sinawava (Riverside Walk). A major perk of staying here is beat the crowds; you can secure a parking spot before outside visitors arrive. Just keep in mind that private cars are only allowed in the canyon during specific times in December, so be sure to check the NPS website for current shuttle schedules. Our room was clean and cozy, the heaters were excellent for the winter nights, and the stargazing was world-class. Lodge staffs are friendly and efficient. We had a wonderful stay and already have our Spring trip booked!

Bryce Lodge cabins are small, dated and somewhat isolated from the main building, but beds comfortable and heater works well. Main building is dark inside on the ground. Restaurant above is bright, gr8 deck. Breakfast is poor, fatty with overcooked eggs and sausages, plain bread. Service is madcap with waiters running around with tranceivers. The Lodge is well located and very convenient, it runs an excellent tour in open carriage vehicle.

The lodge is conveniently located inside of Zion park. The accommodations are the closest to hikes, bikes, etc. If you arrive at night, you won't see a thing but the sun rises to a piece of paradise. We stayed in a cabin. It had all of the important things like a fridge, fireplace, and coffee. We loved the front porch. It is rustic. The room carried a strong odor of wood polish. While it was clean, the smell caused some discomfort. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay, the desk, and the solitude. The reception center was bustling with people the next day. Great, easy, family friendly hikes. Bring water or snacks. There is relatively smooth elevation or stairs in many places. There is no delayed checkout so plan accordingly. They do provide a parking pass valid for the full next day. Parking at the visitor center is limited to 20min. There are frequent buses back into the next town (which has many more places to eat).

Very nice rooms. Rooms have woodsy Western style, plenty of hot water for showers, small fridge and microwave. Very, very similar but nicer than the lodge at Bryce. Modernized with TVs, more outlets, USB ports. TEREIBLE wifi however which drops repeatedly and is super slow. Dining room was variable with some food good and some mediocre. The lobby at Bryce is nicer with big fireplace and comfy sofas. But the location can't be beat.

Zion Lodge (Springdale, Utah) — one of the absolute best places to stay inside Zion National Park. ? Stay: Located right in the heart of the park, Zion Lodge offers unmatched convenience and easy access to all major trails and shuttle stops. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the entire experience feel warm and welcoming. This review is for the lodge/dining, not the park. Stayed here one night - bonus is being able to drive into ZNP with a code the lodge gives you 24 hours before where no other cars can. Can drive and park at lodge hours before you check in (even as early as 12:01 AM on your check in day) and use the Lodge shuttle stop as a base to explore. We stayed in one of the old cabins - it was quaint but bed was old and very uncomfortable and shower/bathroom was dated (and not in a good way). Perhaps the “lodge” rooms are better than the cabins. Had dinner at the Lodge restaurant one night - there are better options in Moab (which again having a car and lodge access helps with). The outdoor patio bar is great. Lunch at the restaurant was much better and got to sit outside on a nice day.

Amazing lodge! Wonderful location. I was able to went to the nearby Emerald Pools Trailhead at night to capture some night photos. The river, the bridge, mountains, stars, and the moon just composed a life time memory. Then the next morning waking up with this amazing view is just incredible.

We stayed here for two nights recently. Really enjoyed sitting on our balcony and staring up at the canyon walls. The room was totally adequate. Big plus was location since we were able to hike the emerald pools trails without worrying about catching the last evening bus shuttle, and we could easily start a pre-dawn hike to Scotts Landing before the park busses started operating. Trout dinner in the dining room was a winner.

I had a great time at the Lodge. There is no elevator so if you have limited mobility, be sure to book a ground floor room or one the cabins. They have a convinience store which opens early so clients can get their coffee and sandwiches early before going out to do their activities.

While it is difficult to get into the lodge and it’s best to book a year in advance I would say it’s worth it! As a former travel agent specializing in national parks, it’s tricky! Zion lodge exceeded my expectations. It was nice to be in the park and be able to hike right from the lodge or get on a shuttle with ease. Even with the shutdown, the staff was very helpful and patient. The rooms were cute and matched the park theme. I loved having our own patio in the back to watch the squirrels while having coffee. Surprisingly, I did not take any photos while in the room.

If coming to Zion National Park it is worth it to stay here. We had a lodge room. We enjoyed the deck and were delighted to have a fridge and coffee maker. We found a microwave downstairs which we utilized for quick breakfast and late night snacks. The ease of getting to your hikes is just wonderful. We seen bighorn sheep on the mountainside from the lodge. They have local deer that feed on the grounds at night that are very used to people.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We stayed in a King room on the second floor. The room was designed to match the park, I don't understand why some reviews describe it as dated. They have wifi & we had no problem using wifi calling. We had a fabulous view from our balcony & enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on it. The deer & turkey are a treat in the evening, they are very close. We went out at night, which was very dark & when I turned on my flashlight on I was about to walk right in to a deer. We ate at both restaurants on site & the food was good at both places. We only stayed two nights & didn't want to leave, everything was perfect & the staff are wonderful. Highly recommend!

So magical and zen to stay in Zion Park. Well worth the price of $290 (including taxes and fees) a night. It is amazing to wake up between the dramatic Red Rock walls of the park. Rooms and cabins are standard for national parks. Cozy and rustic. Nice porches. Close parking and access to lobby. WiFi is slow & no cell reception but what do you expect in the park? Restaurant is best for breakfast buffet at $18 per person till 11am. Recommend going to Springdale to eat dinner. The menu at the restaurant does not that great for dinner. There’s a café to pick up burgers at fast food for about seven dollars of burger. You get direct access to the park where usually only the shuttle buses run. Easy hop on and off shuttles = 1000% most convenient! Once night comes, there’s plenty of deer that run through the entire fields in front of the hotel. The stars and moonlight are amazing from the base of Zion Canyon. Make sure you book a year ahead of time for the best access to rooms. A few days before you arrive they will send you a code to get through the gate to access the lodge. Great gift shop plenty of filtered water stations everywhere that are double filtered. The sink in the rooms are single filtered and drinkable.

We stayed in the cabins which were simple and clean. They have wifi in the cabins. The main lodge has a restaurant. The location is superb inside the park walking distance from Emerald Pools trail. Has a shuttle bus stop. You get the parks vibe if you stay inside

My stay was in one of the cabins. They are dated, but nice. The shower itself was clean but the shower curtain was red with mold; pretty disgusting. We had mice. The mice will scurry in front of you during daylight. Be sure to take any food wrappers or debris to the dumpster. Zip up your suitcase and bags so you don’t take a mouse home. If you walked into the building that resembles a hotel, you will experience a strong musty moldy smell. The hydration station for your water bottle(s) is located in the long building that looks like a hotel. Overall, this is the perfect place to stay to enjoy this park. Perfect location. Employees are welcoming, super nice and very informative.

It was a great decision to stay in the park! It was very convenient. The cafe, beer garden and restaurant are all very close by. Plenty of parking, the Zion bus system is right out front od the lodge. It’s only 6-8 mins to Springdale where more shops, restaurants and variety of other things to do. The cabin had everything we needed and was clean. Beds were average. The cabins are connected so you could have an adjoining for families.

Zion National Park is otherworldly in its beauty. Well worth a visit regardless of where you are staying. Been there multiple times and it always leaves me in awe. The lodge at Zion is rustic but has all the basic amenities you'd expect. The restaurant at the lodge nice, but the food is nothing special.

Inside Zion NP, well away from the crowds Wifi was an absolute joke. Do not plan on having any connectivity, period, wile at Zion.
