Great, personable, affordable service! Shop is cute and comfortable, all four of the employees I interacted with were kind, clean, and helpful. They definitely aren’t out to gouge every dollar out of you. They listened to my concerns and tested the car as needed, even looked up pricing options for a future repair. Very impressed! I’ll be back!
Took our truck to have the coolant sensor replaced. Had an appointment on September 9th, dropped it off the Wednesday before as they requested so they could get a heads up at diagnosing. It's now September 30th and our vehicle hasn't even been looked at. We just picked up the truck from Woody's and took it to another shop in town.
Can't speak to the quality of service done as nothing was done. It's our only vehicle so I've been using my grandma's vehicle fortunately but this isn't okay. We called multiple times while our truck was there. They either went unanswered or we were told they haven't gotten to it and thanked us for our patience.. would not recommend..

Woodys, had the business of my entire family. They don't anymore. I thought they were different from big city mechs or dealers. No, I won't go to Woodys again after hundreds of dollars of surprise charges with out such as an email, text, phone call, tweet, Facebook. Wow, yeah don't go to them, if your a customer think twice about what they have charged you in the past. If your a first time customer they will be cheap for whatever your first service is. The next one will surely be a few hundred or thousand more than what you brought it in for.
Had trouble with a fuel pump they already "fixed". Knowing the vehicle needed other work we brought it back and asked for a quote to do everything. It was reasonable, so we said ok and made an appointment. Dropped off at the date agreed. Did not hear back for a month. After calling we discovered they forgot about our vehicle; zero work done. Along with being told it will be $400 more and another 2 weeks. After asking why the price difference we were told to find someone cheaper? EXTREMELY disappointed and also very confused by this whole situation.
Needed assistance with loading some units into a trailer this week which might've been a rather obscure request to most. They were quick and painless with a fair rate! Definitely professional and capable in all tasks. Thanks folks!
I just recently had my wife’s navigator here in the shop twice in the last month air bag suspension went out so we had the shop switch them to coil overs they completed it in a matter of a day ! Then a couple weeks later, her car broke down again with other issues Tim took such great care of us Could not be more happy with the service we got with them they where also fast and reliable even though we did not have an appointment with them! Thank you so much for getting my wife’s car up and running!!!
I have my freedom back! After 15 years of hitting Utah potholes my front end suspension needed to be replaced. TR towed my van from Home depot parking lot one day before he left for vacation. An assistant did the diagnostic and quoted $3200. Ouch, but we came up with the money. Stabilizer bars, axles, ball joints, wheel bearings, tie rod ends, brake pads & rotors plus alignment. The final bill was less. It's nice to know the schedule: Wednesday- oil change day. Friday- tires day. So know before hand Monday. TUESDAY and Thursday to make appointments. It drives so smooth, is not dangerous anymore and my steering wheel is not veering to the right
Getting appointments is challenging and they are booked out at least two weeks. While it's not a problem, it would be wonderful to be able to have services like summer and winter tire changes done the same day with no appointment (fit you in during the day). Overall the service was good, no complaints.
Brought my truck in because it was making a loud humming noise as I drove down the road. When I arrived Tim the owner met me outside and noticed that I was going to walk home cause I only have one car. He immediately offered me a ride home. I usually walk with a cane so this was of big help to me.
While fixing the problem(front wheel bearing) they noticed that a pinion seal that they had replaced a few months ago was leaking and replaced it free of charge.
I have always worked on my own vehicles and tractors. My doctors and wife no longer want me doing this because of some injuries. It was hard for me to let some else work on my truck but if I was going to pick anyone this is the place.
If your looking for a good honest mechanic that backs up his work I recommend this place completely.
Discussions with T.R Automotive ended up resolving the issue that was previously reviewed. In all honesty, it was a surprise that the owner even reached out, and that is a very admirable quality, and actually says a lot about the character of this auto shop. Apologies for the tone of my previous review.
Friendly staff. A lot of places and I'm talking about you Burt brothers, like to find things wrong with your vehicle that may not be wrong they're just hoping you're too dumb to realize it and then they charge you for it. Not so with Woody and his team. I manage a fleet of 10 vehicles at work based out of park city, and I will continue to bring my vehicles to Woody's for service instead of Burt Brothers even though Woody's is 30 miles further away than Burt brothers.
Replaced my starter but the replacement only held up for 5 years. When I brought the old starter back to get a refund they refunded me the price of the part but not the $40 "guarantee charge" they had promised when they installed the starter. On top of that, when I went to get a refund it seemed to come out of the mechanic's pocket (literally) whereas a check would have probably been easier and more exact. They do a quick job, but I don't know about good, and definitely need to work on general business transaction management.
For those that don't know - this is Tim from T.R.'s new shop. He's been taking care of our cars for years now, and I never have to worry about shoddy work or being beat up on price. They're honest, friendly, do good work, and somehow manage to get all of the work done on time - and now in an even more convenient location! You might have to wait a few days for non-essential work, but it's worth the wait. Couldn't ask for more in a local shop!
The staff here are very friendly and helpful! We were on a road trip and our tire pressure warnings went off on our Nissan NV and the gas stations didn’t have a air compressors that went high enough. They checked our tires and added air for us without charging us!
Very slow to get anything done or to even do a diagnosis. They took 2 weeks to diagnose that I needed a new transmission then when I had the money to get it fixed they sat on it for another 2 weeks before I called them and they told me they couldn't do it now. Very unprofessional in my opinion.
Woody's Pit Stop is a great company! They are extremely knowledgeable, honest, welcoming and friendly. They have amazing customer service - Tim and Kirby truly care about the customers and take the time to understand your needs/concerns. Since we moved to the Kamas Valley Woody's has helped us a handful of times from winter tires, rotations and suspension inquiries.
Used Tim several times. Always fast and friendly and reasonable. He knows my family well. He has towed my daughter twice son once and father several times. I always call here first.
Made my car sound like an absolute beast for an extremely reasonable price. They do beautiful work, even going as far as putting the original exhaust tips back on for an oem look. Car sounds amazing. I highly recommend tr's auto
Tim is a great man and mechanic. Always willing to listen to you and taking care of your problem. He gives 100 percent to fixing your vehicle. CAN BE TRUSTED
My husband got his car severely stuck in the mud up Mill Hollow, a mile & 1/2 past the reservoir. After hours of trying to get it unstuck ourselves, we decided to drive to town and call a tow truck (luckily had two cars up there.) Tim immediately put our minds and ease and said he would be happy to help. He was friendly, timely, understanding, and professional. They got our car out within minutes. We happily paid his decent price for the tow. TRS was an absolute life saver!
