Be advised this is a dishonest business. Needed a simple pull out due to trailer tires stuck. I was quoted $600. He added $60 for fuel. Once his driver arrives on seen he sends me a separate invoice for over $800+ dollars claiming a bunch of nonsense additional charges.
I warned him that DOT would be called and I notified the sheriff on scene. All of a sudden he calls me and says I dont want any issues I will stay with the first quote, I thought so.
Thank you Brown's for taking care of my son when his Schoolie blew a tire. You were efficient and reasonable and you got his family out of there fairly quickly.
I called in advance and asked if they have slack adjusters in stock, they said they have some but might be different from what we have on our truck. We agreed on the phone that when our truck arrive at the shop they will just look at the part itself and tell us if they have the same one in stock, in case we will need to replace it (without inspecting the part, or removing or any type of work done on it.)
When the truck got to the shop they called and said they need me to authorize the diag ($155) so they can look at the part and tell me if they have it in stock or not. It's not what we agreed, and there is no sense to pay $155 for just looking at the part brand or model or part number to tell me if they have it in stock or not. Because if they don't have it in stock, I will not stay till next day to wait for the part.
I did not ask anyone to work for free, but paying for just the fact that you tell me you got the same exact part in stock or not is not fair either.
I had a great experience! This was the only company in the area able to help with my flat tire. They arrived right on time, kept in touch whenever I asked for updates, completed the job quickly, and even charged less than I expected. I would definitely recommend their service!
I recently called Brown Towing and Recovery Service for a weight adjustment on my load. They were prompt, professional, and very knowledgeable about the process. It’s rare to find a company that delivers such outstanding service, but they truly did. I would highly recommend this top-notch semi tow truck company to anyone in need. In today’s world, it’s hard to come by reliable service—when you find it, you hold on to it. Brown Towing is definitely one to keep in your modern-day Rolodex; when you need them, they’ll be there pronto. I must say, OUTSTANDING Job .

I never write reviews, but this experience was especially terrible so here I am. I was camped near Bears Ears NM in march of this year, when I got my truck stuck going up the road to the Bears Ears NM itself. Me and me friend hitchhiked our way back down the mountain to get help (after trying for a few hours to get the truck unstuck), and made a call to Brown Towing by five or six that day. They said they would be there to help us first thing in the morning, and that they will be gathering supplies tonight, loading up a big dually truck. I knew that would do it, all my truck needed was a small tug and it would be out. Like it was extremely close to being out anyway. Anyhoo when we called the next morning, they said they still have to prepare for a few hours, then they would pick us up and go get the truck, even though they said they would prepare last night. When they did show up, around noon, they were in an ill-equipped truck. Just a regular ram 1500 with a lift kit and wheels and tires. No recovery gear to be seen anywhere, and certainly not the dually truck they said they would show up with. So these two guys drove with us to the truck (about 20 minutes away from where they had picked us up), and they made fun of us the whole time. Granted it had snowed a good amount overnight which made the road more difficult, but there was no warrant for them insulting us. Like repeatedly literally calling us dumb, and poking fun of our crappy situation. Once we got to the truck, took all of 5 minutes to get it out, then we drove back down the mountain. I did have them drive my truck the whole time, since i got it stuck turning it around, and didnt want to accidently do it again. I looked through their entire vehicle as well, the bed was empty apart from a unmounted bumper winch and a tow strap, and half eaten food. Like food obviously ate that morning, while they were "preparing". At no point was price talked about, which I guess is my bad, and they fully took advantage of me, since i was in a bad situation. They charged my a thousand dollars. They said they had to drive an hour and a half both ways (unless their listed location is wrong, it should have been an hour total, 30 minutes each way), but only spent 5 minutes doing actual work. So i understand you have to be payed for your time. However, how much time it took was overinflated, the truck was barely stuck, they workers were extremely rude, and they wasted a ton of our time "preparing". If they would have come when we called, there would have been no snow where the truck was, I was turning around at the snow line. But they chose to wait for no reason, and had to deal with snow since it sowed overnight. Also I should add that I was on a labeled road, though it wasn't paved, it was pretty well maintained, I wasn't even doing any off-roading of any sort. So, to make a long story short, absolutely do not call seeking recovery services. They will be short and rude with you, and take full advantage of your crappy situation to take as much money as they can. Truly an awful experience do not ever call them.
Wow what service! I called 4 places in Monticello to help when my rv broke down on our road trip from alaska, no one answered but these guys who sent a guy out to our rv asap! Even though he wasn't an rv guy he figured out a solution to our electrical problem and got us going again, amazing work I have nothing but praise for them!! Top notch all the way!
On a recent trip with a used trailer I had purchased, I saw that a tire was coming apart while fueling in Monticello, UT. I recalled passing Brown's a mile back, so I drove back to their shop.
Jim at Brown's had a great Hercules trailer tire in stock. While changing it out, the mechanic inspected the other tires and found another that was starting to come apart.
So I had it changed also. I was very impressed with the service, speed of getting me back on the road and pricing, that on my return trip, I stopped in and had the other 2 tires replaced.
Jim and the crew made this a good experience. Quality tires, speed of service and friendly attitudes made a great impression on me. Even with a busy shop, they had me back on the road quickly.

The staff is absolutely amazing! Jim and his crew went above and beyond to help us repair a flat tire on our RV this past week. They even installed a new generator motor, which was an additional thing we had challenges with. The whole experience was so much less stressful because of Jim's wonderful sense of humor. Thank you!
We came with our sprinter van to change transmition oil and filter + engine oil.
Jim and Otto took care of everything professionally. Jim hosted us so nicely and offered us coffee and even lunch! We waited in his nice office until the job was done. By the time we took the van for a ride, it was running great and problems were solved! Pricing was fair as well. Thank you so much, guys! Highly recommended! ❤️
Cannot rave enough about how great this group is. Was traveling by myself with two horses in three-horse bumper hitch trailer and my dog on my way to AZ.
These guys rescued me and my entire rig after truck died on highway 10 miles outside of town ON A HILL!
The owner asked all the right questions about my rig while I was on side of road so he could send the right rig - they put my truck on a flat bed and could tow my trailer. The biggest relief to hear - if needed they had corrals nearby for the horses. They got there in 20 minutes. The driver was very careful with making sure the trailer was safe prior to pulling out.
Their service, attitude and knowledge is top notch. You are in GREAT hands with this group.

Super friendly staff. Got here 5 minutes before closing for the Holiday weekend. Got a new battery for a reefer in and out quick. bonus restroom inside and nice air conditioned office to wait for your repair.
I don’t think I’ve ever met a more honest and fair man than Dale Brown. The owner of DB Truck & Trailer Repairs. He went beyond my expectations and put my wife and I back on the road in our RV with 6 new tires that he had in less than 24 hours. His prices were fair and the service was spectacular. I recently had a very bad experience with this shop. I was put “out of service” due to a front wheel seal on the breaks by the DOT weight station right in front of this shop. The DOT police officer recommended me to come to this place. The seal that was changed cost about 60 dollars on the high end. I was charged a total of 480 dollars and some change for a job that anywhere else would cost around 100 bucks. Not only did they take advantage of the situation but they also did a crappy job. They did not adjust my breaks correctly, they did not adjust the wheel bearing properly, they left everything dirty and to put the icing on the cake, they left the new seal leaking. I’ve never been to a shop that decides to charge you before doing the work like this one. They definitely do not care about the work they do. It was close to 5 pm, they wanted to make a quick buck and leave. Now have no choice but to have everything re done. Their mechanics are trash, do not come here.
Only shop around monument valley that would come out to service my RV which was disabled by a coolant sensor. The able mechanic found the problem within 5 minutes after a 2 hour drive. Bill was very reasonable for the effort the shop made.
Great experience!!!!! Call these guys! I ended up stranded off road in the UT desert. I got a ride out to service, and these guys were pros. They were quick to organize my off-road recovery. As a women, it can feel worrisome trusting that you are going to be taken care of and not ripped off. You can trust this crew. I felt safe, never worried and felt the price for the service they provided me was more than far. I'm super appreciative for all that they did!
