This place is bullshit!!
I went to pick up my vehicle. I had someone with me. They were going to pay for me. The business won't let you get your vehicle back unless you have cash or are using a card owned by the owner of the vehicle. I don't have enough money to pay. Now we have to go to an ATM so the person with me can get cash. Then we have to go back and call a specific towing agency to come out there, take the cash and give me my car. Since it became after hours the person with me had to pay an additional $75!!
Hopefully no one has to go through this company.
Best place for used parts and the staff is very friendly and helpful to pull your parts for you. I got my parts for both my 2002 Nissan Pathfinder MAF Sensor and PCM as well as for my sister in law 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser power steering hose and reservoir.
This is absolutely the best wrwcking yard I have been too. The parts were less than other places and they pulled the parts for us. Amazing customer service pricing.
Well went out to another wrecking yard near by and thought I would try these guys as they were close by. What you get is a yard full of weeds, cars and possibly snakes. The weeds make it real difficult to get to the cars making them a hazard. You're not allowed to pull your own parts because of possible theft. None of the cars are marked as in yr, make or model.
The guys running the place are super nice but it's just to many barriers to shop there, I won't be back....
Very good place to get parts. They pull the auto parts for you and make sure it is in good condition. This is where everyone should check first for their auto parts.
Looks like western auto wrecking has swift towing working out of there yard? If you are affiliated with the swift towing company, I would suggest re evaluating your deal or lease with them. Swift towing has come under really bad reviews and if they pull up to your yard I’m sure that there may be many future confrontations if there hasn’t been so already. I don’t think I’d be able to do business with western auto wrecking since I had a negative experience with swift towing. Which it looks like there is a picture on your gate with swift towing sign. By the way I saw the bigger swift towing truck wrecker going around 90 mph on 2100 s. Freeway (65 mph zone) carrying a car, just a few miles before exiting one evening. Hope both of your companies have good business insurance since they seem to be on the wreck less side.
I called and got a quote for a 2006 Prius power steering unit and module. The guy on the phone said it would be 65 bucks and probably 70 with tax. When I got there the power steering unit was $100 so 107 with tax and the module was extra at 50 bucks. This is the first time I've used Western Auto wrecking and it will be the last.
Exceptional customer support- I came in to purchase an engine for my daughters car. They all were very accommodating with showing me all options and the pricing was extremely affordable. Thanks for all the help! - I will be back.
Don’t waste your time here. They will over charge you for parts. They always try to charge me double the price for parts. To top it off they are rude, very bad service. Every time I call Jose will up the price on parts. Don’t go there. There are many other places you can find that are honest!!
Just had the most delightful conversation with the gentleman from Western. Super helpful and really good at explaining what I needed to do to get myself organised with part. I have never shopped a 'wrecker's before so was unfamiliar of what to even ask for. The gentleman was super helpful.
They are the most amazing company!! My car was broken into and they had the exact window I needed, when I was turned away by a company that had no idea what they were doing or how to install; I brought it back and they installed it!! SO amazing. I will defiently be going back to them!
I called looking for the part I need. They actually didn't have it, but they referred me to another junkyard that did have the part. They saved me so much time looking for it! I will definitely be back as I found them to be incredibly helpful, even when I didn't go with their business.
Was referred by chicks to call here. Even though they didn't have the part I needed, the man who spoke with me on the phone was so helpful. He took the time to look in locations all across the Western US, gave me some suggestions on what to do, what other possibilities might work and who else to call. Needed a driveshaft for my Subaru Outback, but their part still needed to be pulled from a car. Jon Petersen was extremely helpful. He offered to have me leave my broken driveshaft there, while he pulled the new one and compared it to make sure it would work. He called me at work later and said it was a good match and in great condition. Very polite and knowledgeable, this place is a breath of fresh air and a one-stop shop.
Called. Person who answered was so hard to understand. I asked for a sliding door hinge and he asked me what year I wanted an engine for. Couldn't get the help I needed. All he said was try another wrecking yard called Labrams or something like that.

I called wondering about how much they could give me for my Mitsubishi Lancer. They explained it was an older car than they usually buy but helped me and referred me to another great company. To me, that's good costumer service!

Terrible service, Once they know you need a part they will raise the price on you. Avoid these guys. Very dishonest, businesses like this should be out of business. Terrible selling tactics. AVOID!!!!!
