Place my order over a month ago 2007 tundra, key by photo cut service on 2 keys plus 2 key fobs, the keys they cut for me and sent programmed flawless and work great. They however double printed key programming instructions, no instructions on programming the key fobs. i am a very knowledgeable and can usually problem solve. I even looked up videos on their site. And looked up you tube videos. I have been trying to get a hold of someone since Saturday, they were quick to send me a video to the wrong make and model to my vehicle, I tried with no luck, so I called this morning at 8:23 mountain time left an automated message with their AI service. And have not.been called back. All in all I am dissatisfied. And will give this company the benefit of the doubt and will happily change this review if the will just call me and! Enough with the chat and email bs I am over it!

I ordered replacement keys for two vehicles, a spare key for a third vehicle, and the rental programmer. Following instruction videos via the QR code, I was able to easily program the first vehicle (RAV4) from the existing key. For the second vehicle (Sienna), I only had a valet key left. Customer service promptly provided instructions to program a new master key: success. Each vehicle took about 10 minutes including previewing the video instructions before beginning. Programming the spare smart key for the third vehicle (Camry hybrid) proved more difficult, but customer service was absolutely stellar. I received prompt, courteous, obviously human responses to my questions (within less than 24 hours), with a series of escalating supports. We eventually realized that due to my own error I had ordered the wrong key fob. I was given detailed instructions on which item to select for my exchange. The new key fob arrived and programming took about 5 minutes. I had the ignition keys and the emergency key in the smart fob cut at my local hardware store (not a big box store; a local place with the mechanical cutting machine rather than the smart kiosks now in the big box stores. I had previously checked to ensure they could do them) for about $20. So for about 90 minutes of total effort, including 4 emails to customer support, and the same amount of money that a locksmith quoted me for ONE KEY, I have made 1 smart key, 2 digital security keys, and two remote entry fobs for 3 vehicles, and we now have two active keys and a spare for each vehicle. I cannot recommend Tom’s key company highly enough. They offer a great value for their products and their customer service is probably the best I have ever experienced. A++++

Wow. Got the new kit with phone. Programmed one key and two FOBs in 5 minutes for my 2014 Sienna. Saved over $200 from local quote. Easy return too.

Great experience all around. Beat the time and price of the dealership by a mile, and provide great customer service. Programmed a push button start Subaru key in minutes.

quality company. although the experience didn't work out for me, ( my key would not pair) I believe Tom's would have solved my problem if I had more of a time window . they were very responsive and helpful. in my case I needed a refund and it was no problem at all. I would not hesitate to use them again.

The key fob and key cutting services were executed flawlessly; however, the programming aspect did not meet the same standard. It is worth noting that a small disclaimer indicated that the service does not extend to programming a 2021 Toyota Corolla, necessitating the involvement of a specialized professional. The additional cost for programming was significantly higher than the initial key and cutting expenses, and not all service providers offer this capability. In my case, I had to seek out additional assistance to complete the process, which could have been more efficiently managed with prior notification. While the YouTube video suggests a straightforward programming process, as demonstrated by Tom Key, it is important to recognize that this method is only applicable to specific vehicle models and years.

This sevice is amazing. I was nervous and have gone 2 months without the ability to secure my jeep. The dealership quoted me $245 for the new key and an additional $100 to program it. Oh and an hour for them to do it. I ordered the cut key service, fob, and programmer. Saved me $200 and the hassle of the dealership. Arrived within a week. The key cut works flawlessly. The instructions to program were simple, easy to follow, and it worked. I went from a single Sentry key, to an additional key and working fob in about 5 minutes. If you need an additional fob Tom's is the most affordable option. And with a full money-back guarantee (even if it is user error) it's hard to argue against them!

Very nice and easy. Saved me at least 100 dollars. I was able to program an aftermarket fob using the programmer in well under 30 minutes. If you can find a hardware store or similar that cuts aftermarket fob keys, plus Tom's Keys programming with the programmer, it is a cost effective way to get a new fob and key. Very satisfied, very user friendly with great customer service. Highly recommend.

Extremely easy to program my keys and fobs. Only issue I was was with the website being glitchy when trying to add the 3 photos of the keys to have them cut correctly. It wouldn’t let me click the instructions button for what requirements were needed. Worked out fine. The pictures I added must have been good enough because my keys worked first try.

Phenomenal product and phenomenal company!! I highly recommend Tom's key company!! The pre-purchsse support I got from Claire it as good is any company out there. The package arrived on time and it was super easy to program and now I have a new key FOB!! I highly recommend using them if you need one too!!

Great experience! I have a 2017 Toyota sienna with a push start button. Local dealership was going to be $500+. Several local locksmiths were $300-400 range. One locksmith was similar price to Tom’s but they couldn’t get the key to pair with my car. But toms system worked!

Used picture option to get a spare key cut for my Jeep. It was fast. Took less than 5 minutes to program; worked perfectly. Cost was less than half quoted by two dealerships! Would use Tom's again in a heartbeat.

First, let me share the things that went right... key by photo was pretty slick, and i had no problem programming my new key. The problems I had were with the fob and required programmer. The first programmer didn't work, and I was told that on rare occasions it could be "voided" during the QC process. I had to ship it back before a replacement would be sent to me. Annoying, but ok. Finally received the replacenent, and I guess I'm the unluckiest customer ever, because it did the exact same "rare" thing the first one did. I did find it odd that neither programmer had the security tape over the pins. At least the third time they shipped a replacement without waiting to receive the bad one back. This time, security tape was in place, so I was hopeful. Took me less than 5 minutes to finally program 3 fobs. It took a month exactly to finally get my fobs programmed. I will say that the company was very responsive via email, at least. All in all, this is still way less expensive than doing this at the dealer or with a locksmith. It's also a very simple process, once you have working equipment. My experience was just less than great because of the programmer issues.

Tom's could not have made my getting a replacement fob key easier! Find your key, easy, ship with the programmer, easy, program both fob and key...easy. Return of the programmer and refund...EASY! Even when I went to get the key cut, the locksmith didn't believe that I had the chip already programmed and was super impressed to know Tom's Key Company existed with these great services! 5-stars all around!!

When our company vehicle needed a new key, I sighed. Who wants it take the time to go to a local car dealership and get a new key, especially since new ones are fancy with remote locking capabilities plus the ability to open the trunk and probably cost a bundle? We still had one key that worked, thank goodness, and thank goodness that I found Tom’s Keys online. It was kind of magical that I could just take PHOTOS of our key and they would cut it (without me having to leave our facility) and they would give me the device to actually get it to work electronically. The process was simple, and when I received the key, there was a two-part procedure. Tom’s Keys had already done Part One, so I followed the directions for Part Two (which was simply plugging in their programming device into the vehicle’s OBDI port and then turning on the ignition part way and pressing the buttons on the key in a certain order. I followed the directions, and in a matter of approximately three minutes total, our new key was working. If I had done this before, the process would probably take 30 seconds. So easy!

They made everything very convenient and super easy. The programming equipment was simple to use, especially after watching the video. The key fob and the manual key by photo worked perfectly. My only complaint is that the whole thing seems a little pricey. I know I saved a few dollars over going to the dealer, but it feels like the difference should be greater.

Toms Key Company is amazing! I bought my husband 2 keys for his truck and had them cut the keys too all for less than the price of one at the dealer. I had the keys programmed in less than 15 minutes and they work great! Would highly recommend using them and I would buy from them again if needed.

The process was seamless. They are basic instructions, and not many steps really. I programmed two key (1 not from them) with zero problems. Don’t waste your hard earned money at a dealership

Not a good experience. ordered 2 keys for my Pontiac G8. One with transponder and programmer the other without. I was under the impression that a remote came with the 1 with transponder, it doesn't. The other key was not shipped. I did get a refund for the other key. After the fact,I did some research, the Pontiac G8 doesn't need a programmer. You can do it easily if you have an original key. I found replacement keys with remote on eBay for $20 apiece. Called the dealership and the will cut the new keys for $15 apiece. Do your research before buying, l paid $150 for something I could have gotten for $45.

Excellent Service and saved a lot of money. They always responded quickly to my questions, and their customer service is great. I have a 2018 Toyota Highlander, and the dealership wanted over $450 to make me a duplicate key. I rented their programmer and was able to program 4 extra keys. I spent a little over $200 total with the key cutting through another locksmith. I highly recommend Tom's Key. I will keep them in mind for any future needs. Thank you Tom's Key.

Had a great experience using Tom's Key Company to set up a second key for my son's car since it only came with one from the dealership. I was skeptical at first, but glad I ended up using Tom's Key Company. Ordering and delivery was easy and fast. The process to program your new key is well explained in the Tom's Key YouTube videos and super easy using the included equipment. I was also able to clear any previous keys from the car's memory which brought peace of mind in case the other original key(s) are still out there somewhere. Programming of the new key took less than 10 minutes and the laser cut key by photo that I added was easy and convenient. In all, my Tom's Key Company experience was awesome and saved me a lot of money compared to what the dealership wanted to charge.

First, Tom's Key Co pricing is outstanding. It cost me 1/3 of what I was quoted at the dealership and 1/2 the cost from a local locksmith. I ordered the 5-button Smart Key, "Laser Cut" key, & EZ Installer programmer. Set-up instructions were easy to follow and I was able to run the program from an App on my cell phone. There was an issue after programming. The remote worked as a proximity key but the buttons did not function. I contacted Tom's Tech Support, worked through their suggestions, and they decided the remote needed to be replaced. They shipped one out and it arrived a few days later. I re-ran the programming and it all worked. My new remote and key are as good as the original factory issue. Tom's Key Co made the whole process easy, stood behind their products, and was a good value for the money.

Excellent service for DIY automotive enthusiasts who don't want to pay over priced dealer services. For the cost that my local dealer wanted to charge for a replacement key (cut & programmed), I was able to order a replacement key (cut) and 2 new remotes (fobs) for my 2008 Sequoia. The programming process was easy and Tom's offers easy to follow video instructions. When you are done, simply repack the programming tools and send back to them!!

My 2007 Aspen ( Ole Betsy ) has 240,000 miles and the Key Fobs finally died, but I had one Hard Key that worked and I found Tom's Key Co. and ordered 2 keys and a Module. It's an interesting process but now I have 2) working Key Fobs and Betsey is pleased too... Half the cost of the Dealer... Very happy with Tom's Key Co.

Programming for 2 spare keys for a 2016 Ford Edge was truly a breeze. Just followed their clear instructions step by step - a miracle was at the end waiting. Both keys worked flawlessly. A few hundred dollars saved. It's hard to find such sincere and capable people in business nowadays. A+!

I bought a used vehicle with two remotes, one of which was too corroded to work, and the other of which worked but with significant physical damage. Tom's Key Company's website helped me find the exact programmer and replacement that I needed. The programming was simple, and now I have two good-as-new working remotes. As another reviewer noted, the remote that comes with the programmer and the separate remote have different trims, one being all black, and the other chrome. I don't mind, but take note if you do.

I had ordered a key fob and programmer for my 2007 Pontiac G5, but when it arrived I learned that I had been sent a used programmer. The programmer will only work for the first car it is plugged in to, so receiving a used one meant it was worthless. Luckily however, customer support was very understanding and they issued a return and replacement free of charge. The replacement worked perfectly and I am very happy with my purchase. One major advantage of buying a fob from Tom's over one from Amazon is that you can use the programmer as many times as you want as long as it's for the same vehicle. The Amazon programmers self destruct after 3 uses (or attempts)

Easier than you think! Tom’s Key Service was so easy, even a young child could do it. Online video to assist you step by step and even if your phone doesn’t connect, a preloaded phone with software came in the package for you to use. I don’t know any other way to say how convenient and easy it was. Toyota Tacoma Smart Key

Excellent Experience with Tom’s Key Company – Highly Recommended! I recently purchased a used Toyota Tacoma, but the dealer only provided one key fob. After reading positive reviews and comparing the price to what a dealership would charge, I decided to give Tom’s Key Company a try. I’m so glad I did! From the start, their customer service was outstanding. Before purchasing, I had email correspondence with Mariah and did also have a subsequent correspondence with Jude, who were incredibly helpful in answering my questions and ensuring I ordered the correct fob and that everything went smoothly. Their quick and informative responses gave me confidence in my purchase. The Process was Seamless– From Ordering to Programming The extra emergency key process was straightforward—they requested pictures, and everything was handled seamlessly. Shipping was exactly as described, and my order arrived with clear, easy-to-follow instructions. Programming was simple. Once I watched the most recent video tutorial (which they provided), I was able to program my fob in under 15 minutes—it worked perfectly! Amazing Customer Support Initially, I had a minor hiccup because I was watching an older video that didn’t exactly match my push-button start (proximity fob, no auto start). When I reached out for help, their support team responded immediately with suggestions and a new video link that was specific to my vehicle. Because of their guidance, I successfully programmed my fob in about 3 minutes! The small but crucial step I missed? I needed to press the start button twice during programming. That was the missing piece—and their video helped me figure it out quickly. Bottom Line – Tom’s Key Company is AWESOME! Stellar customer service Great pricing compared to dealerships Super easy programming with excellent instructions Fast shipping I highly recommend Tom’s Key Company to anyone needing a spare or replacement key fob. They made the process easy, affordable, and stress-free. Don’t hesitate—this company truly delivers!

I’m still in disbelief that this worked. For the record, my car is a 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid/Energi. Got done with my shift last Saturday and my fob was nowhere to be found. I was initially wary of the website and the fact that there were no complaints (or few). I haven’t had get a new fob programmed in almost 20 years. In fact, it was easier than the video on their YouTube site (for the Ford Explorer). I really hope I don’t have to use them again because I’ve lost my key, but I will recommend them to anybody. Just follow the instructions…
