I always can count on professionalism and advice when I visit. I had plans for 1 type of landscape rock, talking to the site on the pros and cons, decided with good advice to go in another direction. I have used them in the past for sand on pickup, with their super delivery rates, decided on delivery. A must use for the salt lake valley Update, quite happy with the rocks worked out, thank you for superior service and advice !

Great service! They delivered on time and notified me the night before delivery and also about 15-20 minutes before drop off. Requested product to be delivered in driveway and it was placed exactly where I requested it. Would definitely recommend.

Rock N Yard has awesome looking rock for a great price! The picture shows 1 cubic yard of Crimson Ash Gravel. Customer service and delivery communication was very easy. Driver was on time and very helpful with the drop off. I highly recommend Rock N Yard.

Extremely helpful, I couldn't find pathway chat anywhere near me, delivered outside of their normal delivery route. Next day delivery. Would definitely use them again.

I had a landscaper come to pick up rock for me to complete a project in my yard. They pulled up my address and immediately she was very rude to my landscaper. Fast forward...a few years back purchased rock with my neighbor, they had a very large project and I had a really small one. Apparently my neighbor got into an argument with Miss Rock n Yard lady. We had the rock delivered to my address, because their house in a corner lot, and their road was very busy. Back to yesterday when my landscaper was trying to pick up the same rock we had bought a couple years back. The rock provided was not even close to what we purchased earlier. My landscaper called to ask why and she was awful. During their call this morning she absolutely ran me to the ground, now mind you I have never spoken to the woman. She told my landscaper that I was one of the worst people they ever had to deal with. She said I complained about everything I could, and tried every angle to get something for free. She said I was a horrible customer but worst I was a horrible person. She also brought up my best friends name and said that that my best friend thought I was awful and would not work with me again. She indicated that she was going to put our address on a contractor list ... never to work with us. I'm here to tell you Miss Rock n Yard Woman you probably should get your facts straight before you start talking about people. You bashing me to my landscaper is considered "Defamation of Character". You offered to write an Affidavit regarding me for my landscaper...please send it me first so I can seek legal counsel. You don't know me, you have never spoken to me and you better keep me out of your mouth. No need to tell me you won't work we me, because I would never do business with you and I will spread the word about your business. Oh never mind I don't have to...the reviews speak for themselves. By the way I do have a screen shot of what you sent my landscaper about me.

This is the second time using this company. Next time I won't waste my time shopping around and looking at other places. From the availability of information on the website (with pics), to texting back and forth with questions and prompt responses and advice, to delivery, and quality... everthing was easy and the prices very competitive. Would use Rock'n'Yard again for sure!!

Very unhappy with Rock N Yard customer service. I ordered 2” rocks and received rocks up to 6”. When I brought this to their attention, they told me I should have come in to look at the rocks. If I had time to, I would have. I trusted their website was accurate. Why bother having a website if it’s not reliable? “They” claim their rocks go through a screen 2” large. It’s understandable rocks up to 6” x 2” x 2” to get through, but not rocks that are 6”x 4” x 3”. They shared a photo of the screen they use for sorting. The screen appeared to be quite damaged. Maybe that is why the larger rocks can get through. They use the quarter measuring system to show the size of their rocks. A quarter is approximately 1”. Their website advertised the type of rock I purchased with a quarter on. This advertised rock is about 2 quarters x 2 and a half quarters or 2” x 2 1/2”. That is pretty close to what I believed I should have received. False advertising? I believe so. After my delivery. I reached out to the company about my disappointment on the size of the rocks, and informed them it is difficult for me to travel to places due to my busy schedule. The customer service representative turned it around and said she’s busy and hardly has time. Apparently she thinks it’s about her and not the customer. I do not recommend this company and I will never buy from them again. To add to this bad experience, the rocks I received has so much sand in it. It’s awful. FYI Rock N Yard customer service reps: Whether or not you have any control over it, customers would like to know you are hear their concerns. An apology for any inconvenience this may have caused would have made a difference.

What a great experience! Neisha was kind, professional, and so very pleasant on the phone. Gravel was delivered as promised. On time and exactly where requested. So happy to find a company that still knows how to deliver excellent customer service in every way possible!!

Great place. Easy to find and easy to pull a trailer into for filling. Generous load, great variety, at a good price. We will definitely be back for other projects! Thanks again.

Hmmm where do I begin. At first this place seemed like the best deal around, however when you're picking up your own dirt they won't fill your truck to capacity (only give a half yard) but will still charge A MINIMUM 30$ FEE. We thought this was fine as we could just buy 2 yards and do 4 trips. BUT THEY WONT LET YOU PAY FOR FUTURE TRIPS. The only reason I can see them doing this is intentionally trying to screw people over. Tough luck, just go somewhere else

I’ve used rock n yard a few times and have been happy with their service and product. Unfortunately, this time they fell short. During the order process, we discussed that I was top dressing my lawn and needed soil/compost that would work for this. They provided suggestions, which I appreciated. While ordering, they asked if I wanted my compost delivered curbside or driveway. I specified curbside because it was closest to my lawn. Fast forward to delivery day…they did drop it off curbside, but to the house next door to mine which is completely xeriscaped with rock. Because the compost was left in front of my neighbors house, it made me feel like I had to move it immediately 30ft to my grass vs shoveling it directly from the curb onto the grass. When I spoke to the owner, she seemed dismissive and told me there’s nothing she could do about it even though it was delivered to my neighbors house, not mine. I asked her if she could discount or waive the delivery fee, which was more than the material itself. I even provided photos of said delivery that clearly showed my property marker, to prove that my neighbor received the delivery, not me. She again told me there’s nothing she could do and took no accountability. In fact she ended up blaming me for the delivery placement because I was unable to answer my phone when the driver called. However, they said they would text as well, which didn’t occur, and no voicemail was left when driver called. I was home all day and asked why they didn’t come to the door; to which she responded, “we don’t knock, we text and call”. This will be the last time I use their services. Even if they couldn’t discount the fee, taking accountability, apologizing and owning up to the mistake, goes a really really long way. Even my children know this. I understand that mistakes will happen, but what really bothered me was how I was treated. I was made to feel I was the one at fault, and no accountability was taken for their mistake whatsoever. Horrible customer service. Not sure if management or ownership has changed, but this is a far cry from the service I have received in the past.

Amazing! Locally owned, beyond great customer service! The owner helped come personally shovel the last of the rock my wife loved. Just can't say enough, and the prices are great! Make the drive!

These guys are fantastic!! Niesje was extremely helpful from start to finish. Even got me in and done early. The guys that delivered and laid the rock were great as well. They had it dumped and placed in no time. Recommended to 3 other neighbors already.

We had such a great experience with Rock N Yard! I needed landscaping rocks and they accommodated us and delivered same day and the rocks are so nice! We are super happy with the quality and they were so easy and nice to work with !

We just had pea gravel delivered and spread in our front yard. The two young men that did the work were amazing. Taking extreme care to make sure that everything was distributed properly and that we were happy with the work. The clean up that they did to make sure no gravel was left in the street or on our driveway the meticulous care they took to level and put back the stones that they had to remove was amazing. I highly recommend this company.

Very happy with our "flip the strip" install by Rock N Yard. Fair bid, great folks to work with. So good, we're having them back to do the backyard! Photos are before and after. I highly recommend them!

I am super excited to get soil for my raised garden beds! Look how much of a difference there is in color from the old to the new dirt! The soil is so dark and Rich it looks like crushed Oreo cookies! They are not the cheapest nor the most expensive per cubic yard for garden-grade soil. However, they have by far the best ratings, great customer service who text back super quickly, great delivery drivers that dump soil were you want it, & amazing product! (Note soil looks even darker & rich in person!) Tips & Info... 1. THEY OFFER A10% VET/ MILITARY OFF SUBTOTAL 2. Their Raised Bed Garden soil runs $100 per cubic yard as of Jun 2024 2. They deliver, or you can pick up. 3. If you are ordering over 1cu yr, they do allow half loads, such as 1.5 cu yrs. We got the rocks delivered right on time. Our driver Brett went above and beyond our expectations! He was very courteous, and took the time to carefully pour out the rocks in even piles inside the parking strip. This will save us a ton of time and the rock is really pretty. I would highly recommend Rock N Yard to anyone looking for a great deal on gorgeous rock and gravel!

What a great Company! From the people, the price, the delivery, and the product; I would use no one else. I’ve had Rock N Yard deliver everything from mulch, playground chips and various rock for my yard, all have been super high quality and at ver reasonable price. Thanks for helping get my yard to great shape and I’ll use you again for sure!

We called on Friday afternoon when our retaining wall was finished. Rock and yard told us they had a driver available. We had our three yards of screened topsoil in less than an hour. The driver told us he had four yards on the truck and we could have it all if we wanted. We just took 3 1/4 yards to be sure we had enough. The measure was spot on. The load dump was precisely where we wanted. The top soil is better than we expected. The price was better than anyone else. This is not potting soil but the website described it perfectly. This loose soil will settle so overfill a little.

I absolutely love the color of this rock, which is whey it gets two stars. However, I ordered 1" rock and at least 40% of what I received is significantly smaller than 1". Closer to pathway chat consistency than 1". I contacted them and they told me it was a 1" minus rock. Meaning, a large amount of it is smaller than 1" and they were sorry I didn't understand that. Would have been great if they had told me that before purchasing. For comparison sake, I've included their sample of the 1" rock next to what I received. Their sample is very consistently 1" and not a great representation of the product they're selling.

Ordered 4 yards of the twilight rock. They are very friendly, reasonably priced, and their delivery driver was very helpful in placing the rock just where I needed it to reduce the amount of work I had to do. Highly recommend them. Parking strip upgrade complete with their help!!

I had a really good experience with Rock N Yard. They were very responsive and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Their prices were the best I found. We ended up needing to reschedule the delivery due to weather, and they were so helpful and worked with us. It was a fantastic experience! And the sand was perfect! It's exactly what I wanted for our sandbox. I will absolutely come here again the next time I need any rock or landscape material.

I have used this company twice over the last couple years both experiences have been very good texting was almost immediate and I was also communicated with after hours so that was a bonus! And they also put the gravel exactly where I needed it. Completely hassle free great experience thank you! You guys are great.

We love how the Cowboy Crush looks in our backyard landscape project!! We were able to get next day delivery, which was awesome.
