Great shop, they do wonderful work and they work rather efficiently. They are really good at communicating with you as well and keep you up to date on anything going on with your car

This place tries to represent home town value but instead charges big city prices. Almost $400.00 to switch out a thermostat on my basic car. Charging $150.00 an hour. We don't all make what mechanics make. I had to take my car and leave with just paying for the $100.00 diagnostics. Disappointing. I won't be taking any of my cars there and I recommend you don't either. Just called the chrysler dealership and was quoted $250.00-300.00

I took my 2004 diesel pickup in for oil, fuel filters, batteries, and multi-point inspection. A few minor items were identified and addressed. The service was performed the next day and I picked up my truck. Josh was great to work with, he explained everything, answered my questions, and the price was very reasonable. Truck feels better with tires rotated and brakes checked on top of other items. I am really enjoying my old truck again. Thanks FTS!

My alternator gave out while on the freeway. Luckily I was able to coast into Farmington, not too far from a good shop. Josh was kind enough to get me in immediately. He was very transparent and let me know everything they could do for me. I checked with few other shop and after confirming Josh gave me a fair quote I decided to support the local shop, and I’m glad I did. In the end he gave me some coupons and even let me use them immediately. Good stuff!

Josh and his team are fantastic and got my car back to me the same day. I’ll be back

My experience at Farmington Service and Towing was amazing. I had had a really bad experience at a dealership service center in the area where I’d been waiting ver two months for them to fix my car. I brought it in on Monday and now it’s Wednesday and the problem has been fixed. They were very thorough about explaining to me why parts needed changed, they were very upfront about pricing, and the entire time they reassured me that they would get everything taken care of. Absolutely amazing customer service.

I’ve taken my vehicles to many different mechanics over the years and always been scammed. But Farmington Services & Towing LLC has been great to work with. Incredibly upfront and honest and I appreciate that so much. An honest mechanic and his team brings such a peace of mind and I appreciate I finally found that…in the city I’ve lived in most of my life 🫣

BE AWARE!! SCAMMERS They tried to take advantage of my daughter and over charge her for things not needed. She dropped off her car for them to check why the low beam stopped working. They called her a day later and said we need to remove the front bumper and the headlights so they can replace the bulbs and test the wires. Mind you hers is a Honda Civic!! You have direct access to the bulbs and ALL the wiring the moment you pop up the hood. I easily replaced them last year without having to do anything they said. She called me and told me what they told her. I called them right back but is it impossible to get a hold of anyone because they use a stupid AI call answering system that gets you absolutely no help at all. I stopped by after work to hear exactly what they needed to do. The mechanic explains the same things, and I told him that you don’t need to remove the bumper and the headlight to “replace” the bulbs, why did you tell her that you needed to do that? And he answers in the most fake acting I have ever seen “Really! You can access the bulbs and the wires directly from the hood?” He didn’t have an answer and kept blaming the “mechanic” that looked at the car. He kept trying to blame the issue on some wires for the after market headlights. Yet, you have direct access to all the wirings you need. They tried to prey on young inexperienced girl, which I read another reviews suggesting the same. Don’t trust this place with anything they say. Read the bad reviews and see what people actually experienced with them.

I needed a tow and called I was met by a lovely AI named Sarah. She kept hanging up on me. I tried 3 times and then decided to work with a human.

Wanted to get new tires mounted and balanced, as well as an axel repair. Im thankful to get my truck back, but was disappointed in near nonexistent communication as a 3 day repair turned into 3 weeks. Not to mention the ABS system came back with new problems.

We have used Farmington Service and Towing for years. They have earned our trust. They are fair and don't try to talk you into unnecessary repairs. We recently had a car that required a lot of work and the problem was quite difficult to diagnose. They worked hard to be timely and communicated with us every step of the way. Car repairs are no fun but Josh was great to work with. Thanks!

Farmington Service and Towing is our family’s “Go To” shop for the entire spectrum of car repairs, emission inspections and on the spot registration renewals. I highly recommend them for any car or truck repairs needed because of their honesty and reliable service.

Josh and his guys are good people. A franchise gave me a quote to fix a mechanical issue in my vehicle for $1600. I wanted a second opinion. I went to Farmington Service and Towing where they fixed my car for the same issue and charged $600. It has been a couple of years and my vehicle is still running great!

Josh at Farmington Service and Towing was great! We brought our car in with multiple problems and he got to it right away , diagnosing the issues and even finding an extended warranty from the manufacturer for a major repair. I’ll be going back to them next time one of our cars has an issue. Great service!!!

Great shop, brought my car to 3 different mechanics beforehand with no luck and they found the issue on the first try! Great guys running this place.

Lost my trust. To begin with. I took my truck in here and they did a fantastic job on repairing the oil leak on my Tundra. I did not price check them on that job so I can assume I got a fair price. I had my girlfriend take her truck into them for A/C repair. No issues with that as they replaced the Schrader valves and recharged for a fair price. Then came where you lost me. I was listening on speaker when you recommended various services which I understand, it's your money makers. But there was quite an emphasis on her to replace both inner and outer tie rods on the left side of the truck. In your words "an enormous amount of play in both tie rods. If there was still a state safety inspection, neither of these would pass that test". I have extensive experience in car repair to the tune of 25 years. I was a Utah State Certified Safety Inspector. I know how to "shake down" a front end. It's an easy thing to check and a great margin sale. I jacked up the truck to check these tie rods out to find absolutely no play in either tie rod. Not even a little and nowhere near "enormous amounts". I would have never even "advised" them on a safety. Took the truck down and immediately the gentleman behind the counter said that the only issue was the inner. Why did they both have so much play on the phone and now the only problem is the inner? Why sell both? He jacked up the truck and shook it while i held in my hand the inner boot which is where the play would be. Again-zero play. He tried to then gaslight me and tell me he has done this for 15 years and he feels play and that any play fails safety. You have lost my trust. We wont be back. To try to scare a single woman into $600 in front end repair that is not even remotely loose let alone "unsafe" is dis-honest business practice and it's what gives your industry a bad name.

Great service and people. They do whatever it takes to gain your trust. It's hard to find an honest repair shop. Glad I found one now.

Josh, Tyson, and the rest of the team prioritize communication, even though it takes extra time. They maintain highly detailed notes in their computer, so that when I return they can quickly review service history and diagnostic details. No mechanic is perfect (nor is anyone) but these guys are very, very, very good, and most importantly, they genuinely care about doing right. I’ve taken my car in several times, and usually they nail the diagnosis (accurate diagnosis is the most difficult, and the most important, part of mechanic’s job). I had one difficult electrical problem which eluded them until I eventually found the solution in an Internet forum. But I should point out that the only reason I was able to find the solution (or even thought to look) was based on the clear, direct, accurate communications I had about the issue with Tyson.

The most honest tow company I have ever dealt with. Was able to help me out on a sunday evening and get my broke down vehicle faster than expected. They then found that they had over charged me slightly for the tow and called to refund me the overcharge. Highly recommend, they arent the cheapest but finding honest towing companies is rare.

I had to change my review. I had my power steering pulley replaced by them. My car made this clicking sound after they replaced it. They told me it would go away. Over a year later, the sound was still there and I had problems with my steering. A belt fell off, so I took my car somewhere else and the pulley was loose, and a nut was stripped. They tightened the pulley, replaced the belt and nut, and my car no longer makes that clicking sound. It makes sad because until then, I really loved and trusted this place. I don't see myself going back here. Edited to add: The sad thing is, I DID come back for that. Y'all said there was nothing you could do and the sound would eventually stop. That was AFTER you replaced the first pulley y'all put on there that threw a belt while I was on the expressway. How many times was I supposed to come in for it not to be fixed properly? I knew about the warranty, but at this point, it didn't feel worth the trouble. Two belts fell off after it was "fixed" by you, the nut was stripped, and it clicked/rattled and drove me crazy. I hated that sound. Egan Automotive in Kaysville fixed it and it no longer clicks/rattles. They didn't have to tell me it would eventually stop making that sound because it didn't make it after they fixed it.

Do not go to this shop at all!! They are very rude! They will lie and scam you. I took my car to get an emissions test and they BLATANTLY LIED and FORCED CODES in my car, then told me I failed the test when everything on the paper they handed me said pass on each category. They prey on women who they think are oblivious to automotive and they insuated I lied about there not being a check engine light before my car was tested. I have a fiance who has a bachelor's and background in automotive and the manager there called my partner a fake technician. Beyond rude and disrespectful, we will be reporting this place to the state because what they are doing is NOT right. Hope this place gets shut down immediately, disgusting behavior.

“I had a great experience with Farmington Service! The repairs were done quickly, and the price was very fair. Josh and his team were professional, efficient, and made the process easy. I highly recommend them and will definitely be back for any future service needs!”

They always respond and will help get your car repair scheduled but we have found other car places to be 25%-50% cheaper for the same repairs. So make sure to do your diligence after you get a repair quote. We recently had a frustrating experience where we called to confirm our power steering pump was under warranty, they confirmed it was still under warranty over the phone, so brought our car in for the replacement but they told us it was 1 month past warranty after they did the diagnoses. Instead of refunding us or providing any credit on the $101 diagnoses fee they enforced that we pay it. We felt like we were tricked into bringing the car in again for pay that $101 diagnoses fee. Farmington Service quoted us $700+ for the repair but Holleys in Ogden did it for less than $500 doing a full system flush and gave us a 2 year warranty. We used Farmington Town for the last 3 years but don’t plan on using them anymore.

FANATSTIC BUSINESS & PEOPLE! My wife's car broke down on I-15 due to mistakes another shop made while changing her oil. Obviously a stressful situation. We towed the car here because it was the closest shop around. Josh was such a great help. He assured us that our car could stay there as long as it took to fix the issue. He checked the car and gave suggestions on how to approach this with the other shop then when the other shop's manager arrived he helped diagnose and talk through solutions. At the end of all this Josh wouldn't even charge us for what he had done. One of the best experiences I've had with not just an auto shop but with any business. You can tell they are in business not just to make money but to help others.

This is a great place! I highly recommend it. I had a lot of issues with my car and it drives perfectly now that they fixed it - all in one day and at a very reasonable price. I really appreciate the amazing customer service by Josh and how quickly they got the job done for me. I will definitely go here again. 10/10 :)

Honest, Fast & Fair. I Love this place! Josh was really informative and helpful. They serviced my car so quickly, their inspection included pictures of what they suggested I repair and they confirmed with me before doing anything. The pricing felt really reasonable, and (as someone who knows nothing about cars ) I felt very well informed and taken care of. 10 out of 10 will go again and definitely recommend!

I have been using Farmington Service for many many years now and they never let you down. Josh is a great communicator and follows thru on everything. The work they performed on my car was extremely detailed. Josh explained every detail to me and provides great advice. This is not one of shops where they try and tell you need to replace everything today. Honest and reliable! Thank you Josh and team for your amazing service.
