Ordered a centre console for a C4. Selected Fedex as international shipping option (124$US) from their website as I already have an account with Fedex and as I am located in Canada and the nonsense happening with the tariffs & taxes, I wanted to make sure it was handled properly.
May15th, 2025 received an email from Corvette Recycling stating my part has shipped with UPS (that wasn't even an option listed on their website) and providing the tracking number. Checked said tracking information: Status: label was created and then voided. Emailed Doug (owner) and he replied that they wanted to make sure the box sizing was accurate. May 16th, received new tracking number with ETA May 23rd. During the weekend, I received an automated call from UPS stating I needed to reach out to them before the end of the day to ensure the package is not returned to the shipper. Panicked! UPS Canada is closed on weekend and this is also a long weekend. Can only reach them on the Tuesday morning. Was told that the shipper chose to have the receiver (me) handling the customs clearing. Never done this before. UPS charges 86$ plus any taxes and duties to do so. I am explained that I can to it myself, filled a form and then drove to the CBSA here in town as we are a Port of Entry. CBSA was a pleasure to deal with, they explained to me that UPS misguided me but they would assist anyway. Paid 36$CAD import taxes and the package was finally delivered on May 26th. Box was beaten up, flimsy tape was used and didn't stick properly to a recycled Ford part box with previous shipping labels still attached. Thankfully, I inspected the console in front of the UPS driver for any damages and the foam packing protected the part. Console was in fairly good shape but definitely dirty and with sticky glue all over.

Ordered a part which was the wrong part. Paid for overnight shipping which was almost $400. Shipped part back. I didn't mind paying the $54 which is what she told me to ship back. Call about my refund status, she said it was $40. How did my 199.99 turn to $40 when only $54 was suppose to be taken for ground shipping? Total and complete scam! Basically they got there part and still kept my money. I wouldn't recommend anyone shop with them.
Well I was going to order…. Until I saw their insane shipping markups. They’re clearly overcharging and making money on shipping. I’m going elsewhere. I view that as unethical.
They sent me a heavily used part and the page I ordered from made it look like it was new. I was charged like new price. When I requested a refund and I returned the item, they charged me a 20% restocking fee. Restocking fee for what? For putting it back on a self? On top of this the shipping cost was on the higher end and I had to also pay the return shipping. So yeah I ended up paying $200 for absolutely nothing! Overall a pretty bad experience, and a bad costumer service that took ages to reply.
Bought used sold white top complete for my lime rock green corvette. they new what a fair price was and did note want to cut the price. They were very pleasant to work with. I gladly would deal with them again.
Awesome customer service. They dropped a hood I had ordered and were very apologetic and gave me a carbon fiber hood in place of it. This hood is easily twice the price of the one I ordered initially. Thank you Corvette Recycling!
I am fortunate enough to have Corvette Recycling right in my back yard, so I took a trip to pick up a few items for my c5 Z06. I had the privilege of meeting Doug and learning about his facility. I was blown away by the organization, cleanliness, and the tremendous effort he has made to inventory his products. Everything I purchased came off low mileage vehicles, and were as promised. Doug is super friendly, and intimately familiar with these car (across all generations). Doug and Corvette Recycling is an excellent resource for Corvette owner's and he's a pleasure to do business with, I highly recommend them. - Chris
Ordered two small parts for my Corvette. Price was great -- shipping was fast. One of the two parts arrived broken. I emailed the company and received no response.
