Bulldog Towing JunkYard in Round Rock (TX)

Hands down, the worst towing company I have had experience with, although we called to use them because they had great Google reviews. And as the old saying goes, "Never Judge a Book by Its Cover." My friend called them for set up to have my car towed for me from her house to mine. I tried to call them to ask them to place my car forward in my driveway which would have been the drop off destination. The older lady I talked to was very rude and told me they will drop it off however they pick it up and since I wasn't the person that set up service, it didn't matter to them...that I would get the car however they dropped it. After her hanging up 2x and acting like she didn't know who I was when the call was back-to-back (literally one minute later) but smartly she said that she talks to so many people in a day that she cannot remember who she talks to. I asked her to cancel the service that was requested days prior and that we would find another towing company. She said, "Fine!" and abruptly hung up again, BUT then she proceeded to call my friend and bullied her for money and told her that she needed to pay them over the phone for the towing, and they would be there within 30 minutes to pick the vehicle up. In those 30 minutes, we called another local towing company, and they were there so fast and moved the car for us and dropped it off in my driveway how I wanted. This should not have been difficult. It boils down to customer service and Bulldog towing cared less about that, but still tried to bully their way to our pocketbooks...I realize there are many good reviews for this company, so please buyer beware...I was compelled to write this review due to the interaction with this company.

The driver I got was professional and friendly. Even tho he was in an auto loader he still got out and took great care with my car. Would have gotten 5 stars of it didn't take me almost 3 hours to get a driver. Apparently they work bankers hours there. But the owner is the bees knees.

These are the rudest people I have ever talked to, also they are crooks that will go e your vehicle to anyone with false documents. Please be aware and if you can avoid these people please do!!

Let me start off this review by saying I understand that Bulldog Recovery is a towing company, and the entire purpose of the company is to tow cars, but the way the company and it's employees go about that goal is rather...........questionable, specifically the woman that I talked to on the phone, she was really rude and dismissive and honestly talked to me like small child when I asked her simple questions, she was really degrading and sarcastic when I asked questions about getting my car back and solutions so it wouldn't happen again, the final straw that broke the camels back was how she hung up in my face while I was speaking, Rebecca, Sally whatever your name is, Do better.

Dealing with a towed car is stressful enough but the ownership at Bulldog was as helpful as they could be and made the process quick and easy.

When booking the tow, the owner, Trish answered. Nobody wants to be in a situation to have to tow their vehicle. It usually means a broken down vehicle and unexpected repair and tow charges. Trish was so nice that she kept my spirits up. She showed understanding. It's hard to find people that are so easy to talk to these days. She kept me updated on my tow and remained very pleasant. She was the reason I stayed calm. The owner of the place that my car was broken down at, said he was having the car impounded if not gone by a certain time. To my surprise Bulldog Towing's driver, Gilbert called and talked to the owner of the place where my car was broke down. After Gilbert made this call, I was assured my car would not be impounded. The entire experience was the absolute best it could be under the circumstances. I have never ever recommended a tow company. I promise you will be in the best hands if you use Bulldog Towing.

I would just like to say WOW! This company exceeded my expectations by far! They were very punctual and the driver was super friendly! I would also like to say that they treated me like a human being and not just like another invoice signed. I had some trouble with the auto shop that my car was taken to and Trish the owner dealt with it in a professional manner that you just don't see any more!! Kudos to her and her driver providing excellent customer service and care for me, my vehicle and the way I was treated my the auto shop. I will recommend Bull Dog to all my friends and family!! My tracker stopped on me and I needed a tow truck to take it to Bass Pro. Bulldog towing showed up picked my UTV up and delivered it. A few weeks later they delivered it back to the house.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Isaac from Bulldog towing was great. I was running late to meet him at the address my vehicle was located at. He waited for me and did all he could to make sure the was seamless and timely. The young woman who I spoke with had the truck dispatched and me in communication with Isaac within minutes. I've had to use towing services quite often and will use Bulldog again. The tow was smooth and hassle free....

I believe the driver's name was.... Will? Either way, he was very friendly, helpful, and most of all.... ON TIME. I had to get my car towed from one service shop to another(it was a long day) and the previous towing service wasn't quite what I was hoping for. Once Bulldog got involved, I got my car where it needed to go, when it needed to get there, and the driver was cordial, but friendly. He gave me my price(a damn good one), I payed, and we parted ways. I would highly recommend this company to anyone prone to headaches or who are simply interested in a quick and painless tow.

Bulldog Towing is amazing!! I was stuck in the snow in the middle of the night, and the lady I spoke with on the phone was so nice and helpful! Isaac helped me with my car, and he was also so kind and went above and beyond! He arrived at my destination long before the expected time, and he made sure to carefully explain everything to me and made sure I was okay. I definitely recommend them 100%!

My wife swerved to avoid hitting a ladder laying in the street and ran over a curb, immediately blowing out both left tires and destroying both left wheels. While waiting by the car, a Round Rock Police Officer pulled up and I asked him who they used for tows. He said to try Bulldog Towing. I called and the lady who answered the phone was a nice as could be. She was empathetic and understood the urgency of getting the car off the road. She had a driver there in 20 mins, kept me updated on his status while waiting, and had the receipt to me 5 minutes after paying. Isaac the driver was polite, friendly, clean cut and very good at what his job. He had the car on the flatbed and hooked up within 10 minutes and safely delivered it to the shop. Under the circumstances, they turned a really bad situation into a positive experience. I highly recommend Bulldog Towing and will keep their card in my wallet should I ever need a tow again. Bulldog is great, the dispatcher is super friendly and helpful! Will was the driver and showed up super quick, was also friendly and professional. My car is literally by baby and he was very cautious and gentle with her, but had her loaded up and on the road in a flash. Highly recommend!

I looked for somewhere where they had good reviews and this towing service intrigued me. The dispatcher was friendly and quick. She gave me a reasonable expectancy time and I got my towed within the time frame given. Gilbert was the one that towed my car and he was quick, friendly and professional. Rhonda was wonderful! She actually referred me to a place to get a better deal on tires after my tires were slashed this past weekend. And, the driver, I knew from a previous position he held a another company, I forget his name, but he was awesome as usual. I asked them to meet me at my place at a certain time and they were there exactly on time. He was gentle with my car. Couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you!

I would highly recommend Bulldog towing for your towing needs. Trish was a wonderful dispatcher and manager. She even helped orchestrate a lift from a laundromat to my home as i did not have a working vehicle and was on foot in R Rock. Issac was a great driver and was very helpful with some extra requests i had regarding parking of my vehicle; etc at my mechanics. Bulldogs pricing was reasonable for the distance ; and less expensive than 2 other competitors. In short; they're great. Dont call anybody else.

Amazing service! Trish was the sweetest person, super communicative and flexible in a very stressful time! Even let me keep the car with them when Insurance wanted me to move it and I had no where to put it.

Will was so awesome. He came early in the morning to do a tow for me. I had lost my key and was having all MANNER of trouble getting the car moved, but they still worked with me! Would definitely recommend!!

I have a very pleasant experience with Bulldog Towing. I needed someone to come out and help me with what I thought was a dead battery. The driver arrive in about 30 minutes and help me determine that the problem was something different. He was able to tow my vehicle to my preferred mechanic shop for a reasonable cost. I definitely will keep these guys in my speed dial.

It was Labor day weekend and the brakes go out ony truck 30 miles from home. I tried 3 services and 1 was at a car show, 2 had too many police calls and the third said it was too far. So I called Bulldog and they had no problem driving the 30 miles there and30 miles back to get my truck back to Round Rock. With in a few hours our truck was home. I will highly recommend!!!

Bulldog Towing picked up my car after a collusion and the driver was professional and helpful. He had an great temperament in a stressful time. He also gave us some tips to make the claim go easier. I will use them in the future if I am in need of towing service. The office customer service was just as friendly and asked about my daughter's injuries first. Caring people!!

This towing company is amazing. We had to use them on a Sunday morning, they were on time, professional and efficient. When we had problem with the mechanic Trish didn’t hesitate to come up to the auto shop and help sort out the problem. She completely went above and beyond the towing company to help out a customer. I had such a great experience with these guys today. The lady at dispatch was very friendly and helpful. Gilbert, who helped us on-site, was very kind to our family, worked quickly and even showed me some general troubleshooting for down the road. Yes, having to get your car towed is never fun... but these guys made it a very pleasant and easy experience. I’d highly recommend them!

I called Bulldog on a rainy Sunday morning to get our vehicle towed. I initially just wanted a quote because I was going to call around, but after I spoke with Trish I decided that I didn't need to shop around. Trish was extremely helpful and very pleasant throughout the process, I couldn't be there when our car was picked up or towed home so Trish was kind enough to text me and let me know when Zeek arrived and delivered our car so I wouldn't worry. Amazing service and people!!

Isaac to the rescue! My car broke down in the middle of a busy road last Sunday (it was 98 degrees). Called 5 or 6 local towing companies. No one could help me. The lady that answered the phone at Bulldog was very empathetic to my situation and worked hard to help me out. She even kept me updated on the ETA of the driver via text. Isaac arrived right on time. Quickly got us out of there, all the while being professional, friendly and efficient. Thank you so much Bulldog!

This is the best towing company that I have ever dealt with. The owner who answered my call was the kindest and sweetest lady. Isaac , he’s the greatest, came quickly and assisted with my issue and got me back on the road. I am forever grateful to this company and they have gained a customer forever.
