Edit: Had to come back and change my original 2 star, down to a 1 star. A very helpful gentleman from another Advanced helped me out by calling this store to try to get a receipt number to return a purchase. Turns out I was sold and already opened container of oil dri, I couldn't have returned it even if I wanted to. The gentleman from this other location that was helping me, pulled money out of his own pocket and bought the oil dri from me. HE will be getting a five star from me for his store with his name attached to it. Dude on the phone was uncooperative by giving terrible attitude.
Sub-par customer service. Guy with long hair at the register kept giving me passive aggressive attitude. I think he was trying to make me feel like I was dumb, not knowing what I was doing. 25 years experience, begs to differ. I like most advanced auto parts stores, just probably not going back to this one. I'll go out of my way to go down to O'Reilly a few blocks away.Jan 20, 2026 -
I stopped by this location right before driving out of town and needed assistance. Michael was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He took the time to make sure everything was right and explained things clearly, which gave me peace of mind before my trip. This is exactly what great customer service looks like!

To whom it may concern,
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the way I was treated during a return transaction at your store on 01/11/26.
On 01/09/26, I purchased several gallons of Peak antifreeze. On 01/10/26, I returned to the same store and purchased a pack of gloves and a Permatex High Tack gasket sealant. These items were intended for a gasket and O-ring replacement on the HPOP cooler of my truck. Ultimately, the repair did not require replacing the gaskets, and the Permatex sealant was never used or opened.
When I returned to the store today (01/11/26) to return the unused sealant, the employee in charge, Michael D., stated that the bottle was “halfway empty” and implied that the product had been used. I clearly explained that the sealant was never opened. Despite checking the bottle multiple times, his attitude throughout the interaction was dismissive and unprofessional. While he did eventually process the refund, it was done reluctantly, accompanied by facial expressions and comments such as “I guess,” which strongly suggested disbelief.
Although I was not directly called a liar or a thief, the implication was clear, and I found the interaction disrespectful and inappropriate. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with professionalism and courtesy, especially when returning an unused product in accordance with store policy.
I am not satisfied with the way this situation was handled, particularly the employee’s attitude and conduct. I believe this experience reflects poorly on customer service standards and felt it was important to bring it to your attention.
I would appreciate acknowledgment of this complaint and clarification on how situations like this are expected to be handled in the future.Jan 11, 2026 -
Went in to get a battery replaced as it was dead in my car was met with an attitude and told I would have to wait a couple of hours for them to check it. So I left the battery there for 3 hours and heard nothing back so I called and they told me it was going to be another 24-36 hours before I could pick up the battery. No one told me they were charging it and when I came in to pick it up the next day the staff member was a guy with long hair gave me the worst attitude I’ve ever gotten from anywhere he was hostile for a reason I couldn’t tell you! Every time I’ve been in this store staff acts like they hate their job and take it out on the customers. If you need anything for your car go literally anywhere but the advanced auto in round rock

Went in for a pick up order for some windshield wipers and Michael offered to replace them for me without me having to ask. He really went above and beyond in his customer service.

I went there today to get a new battery for my car. Erin helped me right away. She confirmed the type of battery needed for my car, and found it in stock. She replaced the battery in my car. I was shocked to see her put the green & red pads on the (new) battery terminals and also a spot of grease on each one! My car is 24 years old and has had a few battery changes over the years and I've NEVER had those items put on ANY of the other battery replacements! Hopefully that all helps to make the 2 year battery last even longer! She was very friendly and very helpful. She really knows her stuff! Thanks again Erin!!

This store has turned around 100% I never used to get ANY parts or accessories here at this store because the conditions were so poor, also the customer service was non existent, Erin is making a huge difference in this store.

Needed a radiator for a truck repair. They had the correct item in stock at a reasonable price. Called on the phone to make sure that they had it in stock on hand. They did and I asked them to set it aside for me which they also did. Stopped in and picked up the radiator and some antifreeze for the swap. No issues. Radiator fit perfectly, no problem and staff was friendly.

Michael was so kind, empathetic and helpful. Michael helped me finding the right bulbs for the headlights of my Subaru and install them for me in this august heat. They’re not as accessible as some other vehicles so I was extremely grateful for the help and attention to make sure the issue was fixed. He also took the time to teach me how to change the bulbs and change my break light also. Ask for Michael when you go in, he’s the best!

I wanted to take a moment to recognize Michael Distephan for his amazing customer service. I came into the store with my daughter, and she had a bathroom emergency. Michael was so kind and understanding—he let us use the restroom without hesitation.
I actually wanted to tell the store manager in person how grateful I was, but unfortunately, they weren’t available at the time. I just hope this message reaches them, because people like Michael are rare. The way he carries himself and treats customers is truly outstanding.

Came to get my battery tested and the guy ended up draining it told me I had to buy a battery for them to even touch my car,told me they can’t give me a jump but the big manager said he could overall this store needs better employees

If you ever come here, ask for Hugo! He is always exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, and kind for whatever I need. Some of the best customer service that I’ve ever had, and I’ve worked in customer service since I was 15 years old. Wonderful store and even more wonderful employees like you Hugo!

This store has an awesome team of sales clerks working at this store. The guys here are always so nice and provide excellent customer service especially the sales clerk who says, "Brother, how can I help you today?" These guys go out of their way to get you the correct part or information.

I came in with my wife's dead battery and there was one guy behind the counter about my age (mid 30s-ish) and two older employees just watching him work essentially. But this guy was handling business. Addressing concerns, was very informative to everyone and maintained a friendly, welcoming attitude all while juggling at least 4 different customers needs including my own. Testing my battery, checking out another customer, pulling up my replacement, helping the next customer, and getting my new battery and all the recommended accessories for the battery. Man was killing it. Dunno what the other two old timers were there for tho. Just decoration I guess.

I give a two only because this location was clean and the shelves were faced with product. The staff here seemed like they simply didn't want to be bothered. There is a chime on the door that would alert them to the presence of a customer, but after browsing and getting items I was simply ignored while two staff members had an extensive conversation. Even after attempting to get their attention, another staff member was called to come check me out. I waited a good ten minutes before the other guy was called. Seems like this location gets very little traffic.

Kelly is the best commercial manager I have ever worked with. She’s always answering the phone and you can hear her smile her smile. I have worked with three different commercial managers and she has the best service. Her crew is great and get parts here on time with no excuses.

Came here on a Sunday to buy a few things for my car oil change and up on walking in i was greeted by a jentleman doing shelve stock , Its great to walk into a business stablishment and get greeted anyways was helped out by another employee at counter also very great attitude and less than 10 minutes i was back on the road will definitely come back here if i need anything else in the future i give this place a thumbs up Thanks Y'all for the great service.
