Long story short, I went to pick up my parents in Brownsville so they could attend my son's graduation. On my way from Brownsville to Laredo, I noticed the battery light lit up on my van. Power gave up in Zapata, Texas around 4 p.m. and the graduation started at 6 p.m. Thankfully, I had enough power to park at Gonzalez Auto Parts in Zapata. I asked the attendee if he could help me diagnose my vehicle. He quickly hooked up his battery testing scanner and advised me that the alternator was the cause. Not only did he have the alternator at his shop, but was kind enough to contact a local mechanic for me. Gentleman was very hospitable providing cold water to my elderly parents.
Van had enough power to drive it to the mechanic's shop. Had some friends pick me up from Laredo and best part was that my parents and I were able to see my son receive his diploma. 5 more minutes, and we would have missed his walk across the stage. I am very grateful for GAP's hospitality and service!
