1st shift gave you one price for repairs and 2nd shift "he calls himself manager" almost double it . . If you need repair stick to 1st shift and have tham give you estimate on paper
Had a little issue as a passenger vehicle using the gas buddy card. Have an experience this issue travel crossing that states all the time the pumps want a vehicle number so I ended up just putting 0000 and that worked. The place is really clean and the staff seems reasonablykind and helpful most of them.
But the pump does not put out a receipt.
I’ll see if I experience the same problem down the highway at another loves stop.
Oh, and there are only like six spots for people who need to pull in and rest before taking off again again.
You will notice that half of the parking lot and most of the spots are reserved for employees and are empty.
Maybe they don’t really want people in commuter vehicles to be here? I’m sure they make most of their money to function off of the truckers, and we commuter folks are just an accommodation to be negotiated.
All of the trash cans at the pumps and in front of the store are overflowing with trash everywhere. Buckets for windshields are turned over. Very disappointing Loves
Stopped over here for a gas fill up and to grab breakfast from travel shop while traveling on the US-287 highway. Perfect place to grab food, they have everting made fresh and tastes very good too. The price also seems to be very reasonable for the food.
This is a smaller Loves Travel Stop with a smaller truck parking lot. However the customer service here is top notch! Taniyah and Infinitey were very helpful around the store and had excellent customer service. Also note that the shower I used was completely flawless and impeccably clean! The shift leader in blue was constantly moving through the store and tending to things. Thank you employees for making a truckers life easier as we live on the road across America.
It’s usually busy here, but everyone inside has always been friendly and helpful when we stop by. The establishment is clean, Subway food is always good. Definitely recommend.
Has a subway and a good father's pizza. The bathrooms were clean and neat. Tons of magnets. Keys chains. Has a truck mechanic shop attached. There is semi truck pumps. Tons of snacks and drinks. Hot deli food. Great customer service. Good little place to stop for gas and snacks or drinks.
One of a line of Love's truckstops along the 287 from Colorado to Rhome,TX. This store along with the others tend to be smaller in size though on a more frequent basis so I guess quantity over quality. This particular truckstop is very, very compact and at busy times you may have to sit out on the road before getting on site due to the positioning of the parking layout and fuel pumps. It states on trucker path that this store has 53 parking spaces but I think this includes car parking as well. I think personally closer to 35-40 is more accurate and it fills quickly. I arrived at 17:15 and there were 4 spaces available with 3 of us waiting to park. The parking area is on a slope around the rear of the repair shop but easy to manoeuvre in. The store lacks what a lot of the larger truckstops have especially laundry facilities so if you are resetting and need laundry doing forget it. The store itself is ok with seating inside for when you purchase food to eat instead of eating in ya vehicle. Personally I would really only use this store to fuel at a push but I was tight on time so it was fine for the day.
Truckers beware, this tire shop is shady, very unprofessional. I specifically called ahead to verify they had my exact same long haul steer tire which they confirmed I did over a recorded line. We were headed to California so we really didn’t want to hit Flag Staff with the tires we had on. I didn’t pay much attention because Joe the manager assured me he had my tires. When I got to the next Love’s I noticed they slipped a couple regional tires past me so I immediately called the facility and they basically gave me the run around for over a week. We even filed a complaint with them and the Safety Risk Manager Amanda Simpson offered $50.00 per tire even after I provided all requested receipts and proof that they placed the wrong tires on my truck. I will not be back to this shady business and I will be contacting Mr. Love prior to filing a civil suit against them. No work ethics nor professionalism.
The worse loves i have ever been to. The workers outside with friends and family as they're throwing trash out on the ground. Very few workers. Restrooms are dirty. Will never stop here again.
This is the worst location I have ever been at! The cashier was absolutely rude. Even though she had a changed jar, my total came up to 7.01, And instead of using one of the pennies in front of her, she decided to give me $.99 back. I don’t know if they’re understaffed or not but the line for godfathers and subway is the same and we always get two large pizzas which takes about 15-20 minutes. There was a family of five in front of us for Subway Besides the other people. We just left and never will be back at this location!
I give them a one for even having a dog park, but this has to be the worst Love’s Travel Stop dog park I have ever been to. I bring my dogs here because they are tired and have been in the car for hours and it’s a great place to let them run around before getting back in the car and driving some more when we are on the road. The trash cans are overflowing and there’s poop everywhere, but when I actually went to clean up other people‘s dogs’ poop, there was only one bag in the dispenser. We will keep coming to Love’s, because they’re usually okay. But if you can make it to the next one… I probably wouldn’t stop in Wichita Falls.
While having my steer tires changed, my truck fell off the bottle jack and landed on the bumper. The technician placed a jack stand under the frame rail but didn’t extended it to where it was touching so it served no purpose.
I pass by this location every time I come through Wichita Falls since I like to get gas at the Murphy USA location when filling up. I did come here to use the squeegees and window wash to remove the flying Texas insects that seem to turn into cement upon explosion. I also needed to use the restroom.
The fuel islands were in decent shape. The place was very busy so I’m sure it can be hard to clean pumps, fill the paper towel dispenser, keep the window wash fluid filled and make sure each pump has paper for receipts when there is so much activity. The store was relatively clean, and the restrooms were nice, too.
I didn’t talk to anyone, so I do not know if the staff is pleasant or not. In fact I didn’t even make contact with anyone staff. That’s how bad I wanted to get in and out. Getting in and out of the parking lot was an exercise due to pickup trucks and trailers.
This Love's is very clean! Yes, even the restrooms!! The Employees are very nice, polite, and knowledgeable about where things are, instead of getting a blank stare as you would at some places. Oh, let's not forget, the water to wash the windshield has a cleaning solution in it. So it actually cleans. The price for gas wasn't bad either. Go ahead run to the restroom, wash your hands, grab some fresh food, head out to the vehicle, start the pump and wash your windshield. You'll be glad you stopped here. I know I was. I'll be back.
Still waiting after 3hours for a PM on my truck. Mechanics just sit around laughing, talking and on the phone. No trucks getting work done in the bays. And the manger of the shop is right along with them.
When doing a road trip, one must stop for gas. When we stop for gas, most gas stations are the same or very similar; you stop, you pump gas, get snacks and use the restroom. Then you’re on your way again. Since most gas stations are the same, there are things that are important to me that I look for that sets them apart: * Cleanliness of the restrooms - 4 star for this location * Cleanliness of the store itself - 5 star for this location * Friendliness of the attendants - 5 star for this location * Working Tap at the pump - 5 star for this location
Although the restrooms could be a little cleaner, it was still better than most. One feature that was good for this Loves is the Subway inside and the Dog park nearby. Furthermore, the truck stop is separate. This location is great
Love me some Loves! This one is not the best though… My card got stuck in the pump, and I thought I wouldn’t be able to get gas, and get home! Finally came out and I was able to fill up. Let the manager know so I wouldn’t have a problem. Everyone was friendly. The restrooms were not as clean as I have come to expect from this brand. Got hot dogs and they were out of onions. Cashier was kind enough to grab some from the Subway. Station is small and the parking was pretty full. I was on a bike and wanting to take my time, but some woman pulled in behind me and gave me the stink eye cause pumps were full. I just really needed to stop and rest, otherwise I’ll probably choose a different one next time.
My AC Belt Snapped In the Middle of this Heatwave in Texas. I called Love's roadside assistance, they were helpful and friendly over the phone. The guy showed up in 40 mins at Pilot in Henrietta. I was so relief as it was super hot for myself and my Husky, even tho we were under the shade, we were sweating gallons of water.
The guy took a look at the engine compartment and had a puzzled look in his face. After 5 mins, he told me he couldn't do it and took off. He didn't told if he was gonna bring more tools or someone else. I called Love's and they didn't picked up the phone, i texted the guy that was helping me and he ignored me.
I called another Roadside assistance tech 1 hour away and he showed up 1.5h later but got the job done in less than 30 mins while Talking on the Phone on his hand lol.
Anyways, i wasn't gonna write a review but it was so unprofessional the way when he took off without offering any assistance. My dog had to suffer when they could have told me over the phone that they can't install Ac Belts. The guy was really friendly and chill but seems they can only do tires.
Showers and service was not bad. Scanning i.d to buy cigarettes hell nooooo. 54 year old and have to show an i.d is ridiculous. Loves just lost my business over 2000.00 dollars purchased this past week. Bye bye loves.
Had a flat 40 miles from the Loves. Sierra came out in about an hour and a half and got us all set up. She was professional, friendly and customer oriented! Please make sure she knows what a valued employee she is….
