Had a catastrophic issue occur with my Ram Promaster heading to a bike race is Wichita Falls Texas. I let the guys at the shop know what was going on (I thought it was something more severe than it actually was). Despite my suggestion; the were able to deduce what the issue was. They called me to let me know it wasn’t as bad as I thought and they fixed for. Great price. Awesome crew!

We were given a quote of $250-400 and one hour of labor ($150) so we had our truck towed there after hours and left to be looked at the next morning. Knowing it was either the battery or starter. We called the following morning as we are not local so would have to wait for it to be looked over. A few hours later we were called that it was ready for pick up and would be $1449!!! We were never called and given an update as to the confirmed repairs needed or any new pricing quotes, nor were we ever asked what brand/quality battery we’d want ours replaced with. We were charged $289 per battery which they said was the best from O’Reilly. The battery we were charged $289 each for RETAILS for $179 at their local O’Reilly’s!!! On top of an additional hour of labor to replace the batteries. (We were charged three hours labor). It’s not even the “best” battery - far better batteries available for $289. Would not recommend ever bringing a vehicle here unless you like being price gouged.
I would give a negative 1, but that's not an option. Told me to drive 80 miles out of the way to shop, and I get there to be stood up. Got a hotel and called in the morning. They said techs were late. called later, they said they were booked. These guys are not professional.
If your truck broke down, you should go anywhere except here. I called to tell them that I needed a mechanic to fix the truck. I told them that the problem with the truck was the diesel injection pump. They told me that the mechanic would fix it in the place where the truck failed, the mechanic arrived and only did normal checks, fuses, oils and that the gas pump could be heard that it was working (I had already done that that's why I told them before that they would send it) the mechanic asked for a towing, I asked him before he ordered it and they could never tell me the price. We arrived at the shop and the owner was giving me a price of 5000 dollars for the pump. That part costs around 1800 plus labor. He didn't tell me how much he would charge me for the labor, the truck still doesn't work, they didn't give him anything and they charged me 1595 and they wanted to charge me 200 more for no reason... don't come to this place, they're going to rob you
Great place with awesome techs! Traveling from Arizona my Dodge diesel broke down. I was able to make it to the shop around 2 PM and by 5 PM I received a phone call from their secretary ( who is amazing as well ) saying that it was done! Couldn’t be happier! Thanks again, Dakota!!
These guys are seriously the best! Very friendly. Affordable, and fast. I was very thankful for them today! I would definitely recommend them. Good people and a great business.
DO NOT USE !! So much wrong with our experience with this place its too much to put in this review. But here we go. Car broke down in Whichita Falls while my son was traveling home with his 5 kiddos. It was an emergency for sure. We looked on google and found Allens. Was close by. So my son called them. We have a great mechanic at home but would have had to pay several thousand dollars to have it towed. Allens called my son next day and told my son over the phone that the van was going to have to have a new transmission. They would have to order one and it would take a week to come in. Approximately 6200 for the transmission replacement and approximately 800 dollar credit card fee. I just found out about this. This is terrible.
Less than 3 months out the vehicle is in our hometown mechanic shop with transmission issues. It had been leaking but we thought that it was one of our older vehicles. Nope. It was the van that had just recently had the new transmission put in . Was so shocked when my mechanic called and told me that the transmission definitely was not new. Found out that Allens put in a junkyard transmission. With 80,000 miles on it. And charged 4,000 for the part itself. Since finding this out I have called a dozen shops . Some in Whichita Falls and some here in my hometown. I recieved estimates anywhere from 3600 up to 5600 . These prices include the labor also. No credit card charge fees. Also found out that you can't get a new transmission right now. Have to get rebuilt ones. But they are like new and have zero hours on them. And can definitely get one.
There is a 90 day warranty on the transmission from Allens automotive and diesel repair, but that comes from the place Allens bought the transmission from. This man called my mechanic. My mechanic said that there is no damage to the pan. Allens said that the parts guy said that my mechanic said that we damaged pan by running over something. My mechanic said there was no damage like that. And they certainly didn't tell the parts guy that there was damage. We have numerous pictures of the transmission and pan showing no damage consistent with running over anything and causing damage. But it sure was leaking. I ended up talking to the parts guy myself. He told me that he never said that we hit anything and damaged the part. He didn't tell Allens that. I tried
to talk to Chris about all of this. He just hung up on me. So here we are several days later and this is what we found. Turns out that the transmission had no filter in it. Then it was overfilled. Even after months of leaking it was still over full. So the seals are messed up because of this. Then...we find out that the boot was cut. And another part was left hanging. Whatever was stabilizing this part was cut off or removed. So it was just lying on the brake lines. If it had cut the brake lines we would not have had any brakes. Also the abs were unplugged. It appears that whoever worked on the van and put the transmission in did not take the time to properly remove the things that needed to be removed to properly repair . Just cut stuff and pushed out of the way. This put my son and his family in danger. Have video and pics of the damage. Car was not this way before Allens worked on it.
I can't understand how these folks are still in business. Probably because they take folks like us that are in emergency situations and scam us. Charge exorbitant price for parts that we think are new but are really junkyard parts. And then they don't do good quality mechanic work. Paid a lot for labor and it was terrible mechanic work. Didn't even reflash the part so that our vehicle would communicate properly with it. That's basic from what I understand.
Even parts guy said that had to be done. Found out that we were overcharged royally for the labor compared to what is normally acceptable charge from other mechanics. So I have to deduce that Allens took advantage of us in a very vulnerable and hard time. They scammed us. And so far they refuse to take any responsibility or offer to make this right.
Thank you so much for the fast and friendly business we had a blow out that messed up our back fender, lights and thanks to Allen for getting us in helping us out so we can continue on our trip safely
All I can say is don’t use this business. They got me right off the bat for $1600 for four batteries did it did not need it did not fix the problem after that they got me for $8000 Moore and steel now they did not fix the problem. My truck is cutting on and off while I drive I went to pick it up. They charge me yet another $1300 storage fees I left made it 15 miles and it started the same problem now 150 miles later I’m on the side of the road dead in the water will not creek up. Excuse me will crank, but won’t start try calling these guys now they won’t answer the phone. Thank you Allen’s Auto And Diesel you’re the best Screwin I’ve had yet.

Travelling through Wichita falls, had car troubles. Allen's was available for a sunday repair. Terry our mechanic was knowledgeable and quick on getting us safely back on the road.

Everyone I came in contact with was very professional. It was a walk in as I was just driving by the business.
I was greeted in the parking lot in less than 30 seconds. It was a cold day , so i told that I could go inside the warm office to fill out the paperwork. In less than 5 mins, I was told the problem and given a solution with price estimate. In less than an hour my car was back on the road. Definately could not beat the price. I drove away thinking my original plan was to go downtown but driving by this business in my opinion was a Devine intervention. I recently move to Wichita Falls TX and they without a doubt have my business in the future!
My window got stuck so I called them on a Friday. They got me in and completed the project in a couple of hours. 2 of the 3 guys were nice. It was kind of pricey but it was quality work. I was very happy with the outcome though.
My engine light came on and I just found this shop by accident. They are very friendly and professional and got me on the road again the same Day. I would highly recommend them!
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Long story short, I paid $700 for their services and I’ve had to have other mechanics fix the same issues this place claimed they fixed (cover gasket value). They also charged me $85 four times for labor :| & even lied about giving me the student discount..not to mention my car quit again 45 minutes after picking it up from them. (Imagine paying $700 & your car quits again in less than a hour of picking it up from a shop but it’s nothing they can do about it). And I really don’t care for a response from this place, my money is gone and I went through hell trying to get someone ELSE to fix my car.
On Feb 26 2021 I went to Allen's for a flat tire on a dump truck. They didn't have the necessary equipment to fix the flat. 10 minutes was spent on the truck. The flat wasn't fixed, yet my company was charged $295.00. Bottom line, common sense dictates charge according to the work performed hoping for repeat business. My advice is to seek services elsewhere
Thieves 275 dollars for air in a tire said he had 2 hour minimum put hands on my truck to do it then threatened to impound my truck there also have multiple names they also go by jc mobile repair
I called them late in the day (on a Friday no less) and they were able to fit me in. They were super helpful, timely, and customer oriented. I’m thankful they could get me in so quickly - definitely recommend!
We were traveling in our RV, when a warning light came on. We called at least 5 places, Allen’s got us in right away at 5 pm on a Friday night. The staff was friendly and professional. We were back on the road within 40 minutes. I highly recommend Allens, they were a life saver!!
