I hate to write negative reviews for small business, as I am an owner of one myself, but I feel wrong not warning folks. They charged me $308 for an oil change on a 2001 4Runner, I asked them to do it while the car was up in the air since they were changing my fuel pump. I failed to ask how much they’d charge to change the oil while they have it (my fault) but I thought they appear to be honest good people, surely they won’t take advantage of me, and I honestly think they are good people, might be struggling financially and having to do what they gotta do to stay afloat. But in the of the day we all gotta go to sleep at night. The owner Jeff did tell me I should have done the job myself, and told the gentleman at the counter to take this guys money and get him out of here, I think he Could have been having a bad day and in his defense I wasn’t dressed very well and I was brining in an old beat up 4Runner, so I didn’t look like someone they care to do business with again in the future.
To be fair he was nice enough to give me a ride to pick up my car, so thank you for that. And the Steven was also always nice when I talked to him on the phone.
Drove an hour from Oklahoma to get a hose repaired at another shop and they didnt have the fittings. So I stopped into Cullar and these amazing people went above and beyond to make sure I didnt waste a trip. They made the fitting I needed in house like it was nothing. Thank you Cullar!

Cullar Auto Shop is a complete joke. They had my car for two weeks and didn’t even touch it. When they finally got back to me, they hit me with a $10,000 repair quote on a 2014 Kia Rio — absolutely insane.
I went somewhere else and got a full quote in two days for $4000 — parts and labor included — with a motor and a one-year warranty. And to be clear, this wasn’t some backyard mechanic or mom-and-pop shop — it was a professional, reputable business. So I still don’t understand how Cullar came up with a price that was over $6,000 higher for the exact same job.
It’s obvious they didn’t want to do the work and gave me a ridiculous number just to get me to walk away. If they had just said that from the start, I would’ve moved my car and saved myself two weeks and a bunch of money spent on a rental.
Then they had the nerve to charge me a service fee — for what? They didn’t do a thing.
Unprofessional, dishonest, and a total waste of time. Avoid Cullar Auto Shop at all costs.
So I take my vehicle in to Cullar almost 2 weeks ago now. and it takes them more than a week to get to looking at it.
When I took it in, I explained to the guy that all I'm worried about is the power steering. I call a few times after dropping off to check in, reiterate that I just need a drivable vehicle and that the power steering is my primary concern.
About a week goes by like this and they finally call me and tell me they're done and it just needs a clock spring and a radiator fan. I knew about the fan when I bought the thing, but ok. Tells me this will solve my problem.
Go spend 350 on a new clock spring, install without a hitch, and problem persists. I'm not a car guru. I have to watch youtube videos for most things. So I call the next day tom ask if they're going to finish the job I paid for and he said it would either cost me another 140 bucks or he'd waive it if I agreed to have them do the work.
TLDR, Cullar will scam you if just want a diagnosis and then ransom the rest of the job.
We are from out of town and was broke down. We were able to get our vehicle there just before closing (so it was locked in for the night), got vehicle running and back by noon the next day.
I cannot express how grateful my daughter and I are for the experience we had with Jeff and his crew when we broke down during our cross country trip from Virginia to Arizona. They got us back on the road as expeditiously as possible. Friendly, kind, professional, skilled, fairly priced. We are so happy to have been sent their way!
Cullar is great. They keep you up to date on what's going on during the whole process. They have reasonable prices and have very knowledgeable staff who are all great people.
This place is awesome! Jeff is so nice, experienced ,and very knowledgeable. I told him the problem with my 2015 F250 super duty over the phone and he knew exactly what it was and they could fix it ( they had part on hand).
My wife and I are traveling and were stranded at a truck stop, lucky for us Cullar was just down the road so I could make it in. They immediately put the truck in the sop and it’s now being fixed.
I’m blessed by God to make it out of this situation with Jeff and Cullars help! Thank God for good people like Jeff and crew!!
Good customer service and they did an awesome job by fixing my screen on my van they are responsible and explained the problem of my vehicle before starting to fix it I will highly recommend this place they are nice people and have good communication so trustworthy
Consumers Beware
Called for a clutch replacement and the service guy quoted me $2k on a Hyundai Elantra lol... I explained that the average Joe can purchase the clutch kit for only $400 online and he replied ( we have a markup and need to charge customers per piece even if you buy a kit) I said no thanks and decided to do it myself. I left this review in hopes of preventing prospective cinsumers from being gouged and not just high priced service. I mean gouged. When they refer to the book as they call it, ask them to reference the section that prices a complete job. Otherwise consumers could wind up paying for things or precesses that need to be done anyway.
If this is what Wichita Falls is paying for clutch replacement, then I'll soon be opening a clutch and brake shop.
Cannot say enough good about this place!! Check engine light came on a flashing miles from nowhere. The owner is very knowledgeable, friendly. His staff got us our part and we were back on the road in about 2hrs. Alan the young man that did the work was very good. He explained everything he was going to do and did not makes us feel like we were stupid when we asked questions.

I would recommend this place to any and everyone. They fix the problem that another shop could not figure out. They did it in a timely fashion and reasonably priced. You get what you pay for. Bringing your car here you're getting five-star treatment. You actually get to talk to the owner and discuss problem with the owner and he is extremely extremely knowledgeable and good at what he does. I will definitely be bringing all my cars to this place. Saved us while we were on vacation had engine trouble halfway to our destination, got us in on a holiday weekend, diagnosed, fixed, and on our way in just an hour or two.
We sat outside with our dogs and made sandwiches.

So I don't even own a truck I actually called this shop with a tail light issue for my family mini van and the kind and professional people came out and helped me out for free! Which speaks volumes as to what kind shop and people they are. They are too money hungry or trying to swindle anyone for an extra dollar I would recommend you give this shop a try if you got a issue because they are more than likely gonna give you a fair price compared to a bigger chain shop.
Ive been a customer for around 10 years. This review isn't so much regarding their mechanics (I feel they do good work) It's more for how they handle their communication. I ask each and EVERY time I go in to have someone call me with a quote for the repairs, not once have I gotten that call. Unsure If ill even continue with them, cause I'm honestly tired of this.
Mechanics get 4* (they aren't perfect, but overall pretty happy with the work)
Office gets 2* (they at least know how to call me when my cars ready)

I had mechanical problems while passing through Wichita Falls. Cullar came highly recommended by numerous people I spike with and they did not disappoint.

Needed to have my car diagnosed for an issue with fuel pump. Car sat 7 days with key in ON position and in neutral. KILLED my battery. No apologies, no accepting responsibility. NOTHING. Just handed the key with a “it’s your problem now” attitude. Do not take your vehicle here- their service is NOT worth how much it will cost you in the end.
I feel like the people at Cullar Auto and Truck are honest and hard working. They always take care of our fleet in a timely fashion even when they're busy, which is most of the time.
Took my motorhome to Cullar thinking I had major problems. It was the alternator and they had it repaired within a few days. He took care of our motorhome because it was still full of items from a recent trip. Reasonable prices and great customer service . Highly recommend Jeff and his crew to repair motorhome s.
Did a very thorough repair job on my 2003 Ford F-250 diesel. I live in Edmond, OK and had my truck towed there when it broke down when I was in Texas. I wish they were closer to where I live so I could use them for all my truck needs.
Incredible customer service, Jeff spent an hour with me chasing a phantom noise in my Jeep. He narrowed it down and walked me through how each component should be working. He then told me what parts I'll need to replace. Since I want to upgrade the parts I'll do some research and buy them online.....but I will surely be going back to give him my business for the install.
I didn't know businesses like this existed anymore! We were on our way from Dallas to Amarillo when we had problems with our RV. We called around and no one could help us but two places referred us to Cullars. They were so helpful not only did they diagnose our problem (tires) they called a tire shop, told them we were coming and asked them to help us as we were traveling through. On top of that, they charged us nothing. This IS the type of place you want to do business with, I know I sure do and will recommend them to anyone traveling this way. Thank you so very much!!
Our big Newmar Mountain Aire RV broke down while we were headed home to Iowa after our visit to see our son in the Air Guard at Sheppard. They allowed us to be towed to their property after hours to stay in our RV until the next morning. It was fixed and we were back on the road by lunchtime. Very honest and good people. I had to have my truck towed for what appeared to be transmission problem, turned. out to be a block of wood fell between the cab and bed was
very wedged in the drive shaft. These are, honest repair shop.
These guys are awesome. They’ve helped me with all of my diesel trucks. Very knowledgeable and they get your truck in and out in a timely manner and do outstanding work. Jeff will help in anyway that he can and isn’t in the business just to take your money. He makes sure that you’re happy with the repairs and stands by his work. I would highly recommend using him if you have a diesel.
Hello I'm writing this review because I was stranded on the interstate and found call your truck and auto in Wichita Falls Texas through Google Maps. I've got 30 years of owning and operating vehicles on our Interstate systems and I have never received the level of professionalism, knowledge and caring that I received from Robert and his team. Not only did they have me towed in by a reputable towing company they made the repairs quickly and efficiently. Then a couple of months later the part that they purchased to put on my vehicle malfunctioned while I was on a run and Georgia. I placed one phone call while I was on the side of the road to Robert and his team. They put me in touch with their Nationwide warranty system, the parts and labor were taken care of through this warranty system. Not only was I back on the road with $0 out of my pocket a few days later Robert called to make sure everything had been done to my satisfaction. I feel so strongly about this review, just ask Robert for my phone number and I will give you more details on my experience with this very unusual truck and auto repair shop. Weather your a local or broke down on the interstate this is a business you can trust.
Outstanding customer service. Jeff took his time to explain what he would do to fix my sons Dodge Dakota and also helped me find other parts that were not readily available. Excellent job guys will continue to use Cullar and send friends and family your way!
