Nothing but another towing company that leeches off these public parking lots. I parked my vehicle somewhere for 30 minutes, 30 MINUTES. I had a little more then an hour before they were even supposed to start booting vehicles. The guy even lied and told me that someone went around in the bar giving out a warning. Funny thing is, no one did!
Absolutely ridiculous company. They are complete scammers and thief’s. I was in town for the weekend and went to and I parked in the parking lot next to it. Apparently nobody can park there even though people parked there were at wing daddy’s dining as well not just nidos, the “sign” they have is vague, no days no hours nothing. I ended up getting a boot on my car after being parked there for less than 30 minutes. I asked the guy for his manager or supervisor and he was no help. I asked if I could pay with my debit card and he said no. Apparently this “company” only takes cash, Zelle, or cashapp so it seemed really suspicious that a “legit” business operates with that, I was provided with NO RECEIPT, NO INVOICE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. This is exactly why they only use these methods of payments because they know there will be no paper trail of them scamming people out of their money.I had to pay 200$ on the spot if not I was gonna be charged 500$ the next day. They added over 5 boots to all the cars parked and demanded money immediately. Please be careful with this company they are a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE BUSINESSES
I am not disputing the placement of the boot. My concern is the business practices and payment handling used by this company.
When attempting to pay, I offered to use a debit or credit card. I was told RAPID Towing only accepts cash, Zelle, or Cash App and does not have a POS system. The company was unable to provide a merchant name, invoice, or receipt for the payment demanded. No written documentation of the transaction or fee breakdown was offered.
For a towing company operating in Texas as an LLC, this lack of transparency is alarming. Under Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) towing and booting regulations, consumers are entitled to clear company identification, disclosure of fees, and documentation of charges. Legitimate towing and booting operators are expected to provide verifiable proof of payment and business information upon request.
I was also told the fee would be $200 if paid immediately or $500 if payment was delayed until the next day, which appeared coercive and inconsistent with fair consumer practices. The pressure to pay immediately, combined with the refusal to provide standard documentation, raises serious compliance concerns.
Additionally, towing companies operating vehicles may be subject to Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) requirements, and in some cases USDOT/FMCSA regulations, which emphasize proper registration, identification, and record-keeping. The inability or refusal to provide basic business and payment records calls into question whether these standards are being followed.
Based on this experience, I strongly recommend that consumers exercise caution, document everything, and consider reporting questionable conduct to TDLR, TxDMV, or appropriate regulatory authorities.
Worst company do not trust them what’s so ever they will run you for all your money they don’t have no consideration , 3 semis parked at the planet fitness & all 3 semis wrongfully booted when we got permission from the planet fitness to park there. These aren’t good genuine people they are a scam & it’s been going on for a while they will not get away with this.

They are targeting customers by booting vehicles and demanding at least $150 in cash or card on the spot—without providing any valid proof that your vehicle violated any rule. No video, no timestamped evidence—just their word.
This is part of a well-organized scheme. They watch cars come and go, and if you’re not paying attention to the vague parking signs, they’ll boot your car and force you to pay to get it back. It feels more like extortion than legitimate parking enforcement.

If this happens to you, document everything, take photos, and file a complaint with local authorities or a consumer protection agency. Don’t let them get away with it.
Where do I begin, the fact that it was my birthday, Super Bowl Sunday and Philly won, but my brand new car didn't get the memo, so it left me stranded at the gas station. I reached out to Rapids Towing due to their reviews, and they did not disappoint. I spoke with Diana, who sounded genuinely concerned about my entire unfortunate situation. She was able to get one of the drivers out to me in a very timely manner, and he was just as helpful (although I felt bad for him because he was wearing a Chiefs shirt, it was safe to say that he was having a bad day too!). He also tried to get my car started and was really patient with the entire aggravating experience my car was providing. They were quick and proficient, and I'm glad I called them that night. I'm hoping I won't need a tow service anytime in the future again, but if I ever do, I'll know exactly who to call! Thank you Rapids Towing!
Good afternoon, to whom it may concern. I’d like to address an incident that took place on Friday night, January 31st, at the Wing Daddy’s location in Laredo, TX, where the customer parking area was recently designated as exclusive. On that evening, approximately 20 vehicles were booted at the request of your company. The signage in place was misleading. According to Texas law, signs must be reflective and visible both day and night, which was not the case here. The fact that 20 individuals received a $200 fine further highlights that the signage did not meet the required standards, shifting the accountability from customers to the lack of proper signage on your end. I kindly request that you install reflective metal "Reserved Customer Parking" signs that are clearly visible to all individuals, including those with disabilities.

This is probably the second, probably third time I leave a review just because I don’t like leaving reviews. However we were so impressed with the service that I must give them kudos! that been said Rapid towing did outstanding, we needed towing services and they came to the rescue… Diana Puente calling me to follow up on Manuel (Driver) arrival, making sure we were ok and giving us updates to feel at ease. Manuel super professional quick and gentle with our vehicle. All this while Mercedes Benz a multi million company let us down! But that’s another review.
I want to start with saying, Amazing customer service, I’m very content with the service provided. I never thought I’d find myself in a situation. With a flat tire stranded in the middle of the road, As I scrolled through google desperately, I came across rapid towing and with it 10 minutes they arrived.
I really like the way they responded very quickly. Professional they kept updating me on where they were and followed up with me when they delivered the car. They took pictures of the before and after to make sure that there is nothing went wrong with it. They were very polite, very courteous and really appreciate it. Thank you .
