Took my vehicle with 1 issue and came back with several. Bought parts where they recommended under (Did not manufacture in my house)
Jerry accepted their mistake and offered me to check the vehicle under his shop warranty. But the front lady's ego hurt as she did not want to help. She almost cried like a baby and refused warranty.

Thank you to Jerry and his kind wife and all of the wonderful staff at the shop. I brought my Tundra in a to have the idler pulley, belt tensioner, and serpentine belt replaced on my Tundra. Jerry noticed a pink stain on my skid plate and investigated and found my water pump starting to fail. I thought the occasional squealing was the pulley or belt failing, it was actually occasional drops of coolant from the water pump getting on the belt. I was moving 1100 miles away and if Jerry hadn't caught this I'm sure I would have been stranded on the road with a failed water pump. THANK YOU JERRY! We miss you!

Fixed my electric power steering through a service contract, and the entire process was thoroughly explained to me with professional advice. They told me what was wrong and did not lie to me about anything, honesty goes a long way, and you can definitely get that here at Jerry’s.
Needed to get my car fixed, took it here because of the high ratings on Google. They were knowledgeable, transparent, and quick, with a good warranty policy on the car battery I ended up needing from them. Wish they were a little less expensive, but I never felt like I was being cheated.
Jerry's was able to identify and correct issues I was having with my 2020 GMC Sierra. Took to local GMC dealer (Powell Watson) and after a week - they did nothing. Took to local Chevrolet dealer (Sames Chevrolet). After 1.5 weeks they did nothing, lied and sabotaged my vehicle. Jerry was prompt, courteous and kept me informed on what was being done. Replaced all 4 faulty GMC brake pads & rotors. Identified electrical issues and referred to an experienced and trusted electrician. Excellent work at a fair price.
An amazing experience once again, Jerry is the type of mechanic that truly cares about his customers and their needs. Every question was answered with the receptionist she has such a radiant energy that fills the shop. Prices can vary depending on what you need fixing but every time I get my car back from them it’s like brand new!!
Very unhappy with the service and turn out. Checked in my truck for a misfire got a computer diagnose and a smoke test done to find the issue. Jerry kept my truck for 45 days telling me that he needed time later to be told that he those not have time to check my truck and fix it . Very disappointed that he still had the nerve to charge me for the diagnose and sit my truck in his lot all this time. The business as per Jerry is lacking personal he is overwhelmed and has to much work then he can handle. A simple solution for me on a business level don’t take anymore work then what you already have putting customers in a bad position not providing the service. Very simple if you require his services heads up and be ready to leave your vehicle their plenty of time . I don’t recommend this place excuse after excuse here I am still with the problem probably worse then they way it was and know have to start over with another shop . Hope this review can help you make a wise and business decision on considering this shop . Update 4-27-2023 went to a humble shop that I was referred to by another vendor only to have the issue taken care of in 30 mins was something very simple that a fancy and famous shop could not fix but sure quick to take your money my cost $30 bucks . You took my money this time Jerry but you sure will not again you should be ashamed hopefully this review will help others to think about your services and all the bs you use and lies you come up with .

We have been long time customers of Jerry’s. This is my go to shop family owned, honest , always get great and professional service. From the front desk which is always courteous and helpful to there mechanics which are very knowledgeable. the owners are always on site and over see every job that gets done they take pride in getting the job done right. Jerry always personally explains the issues and gives you the best recommendations on ur repair. I like the fact that they use quality parts and we all know that you get what you pay for if we go cheap. People always ask me recommend a mechanic I always say Jerry's they always ask how are the prices I say they are what they are reasonable. When your vehicle is broke down you don’t have the option to tow it from shop to shop and get quotes on repairs so for me I take it the the shop I trust without a doubt. You can’t put a price on an honest and knowledgeable mechanic shop. So if you read this far I know personally that Jerry’s treats every customer with the same honesty. Recommend 110%!
I had a check engine light come on and after having autozone try to read the code they couldnt tell me what was the problem. Being new to Laredo I was panicked to find a auto shop. I’m always cautious when going to new mechanics. I have a 2008 Chevy Malibu. One of the only shops with reviews was Jerry’s so I decided to check them out. The front desk lady was super nice. They were busy (good sign, right!) so I had to wait a few hours but I didn’t mind. The owner Jerry explained that I had a crack on some pipe that was causing my O2 sensor to throw a code. I know a little bit about cars but not that much to know the name of the pipe lol but he did show me the pipe and it did have a crack in it. It wasn’t expensive to fix so I was happy about that! I also told him about my car smelling like gas from time to time. He checked my fuel pump with a small mirror on a long stick and found a crack on the fuel pump and gas all over the bottom of my car. I agreed to have the fuel pump replaced. Once he took the fuel pump out he asked if I wanted to come outside and see it. I did. A small crack at the base of the fuel pump where the hose is connected. My whole fuel pump was soaked in gas!!!!! I am EXTREMELY lucky he found this. I just drove from California and paid $600 for maintenance before I left and they didn’t catch this!!! I’m am so glad I made it safely. I can not thank Jerry enough! Yes it was expensive to replace as the part alone was about $300 (he has great prices, what I needed done was just expensive) but the went above and beyond to explain the process, cost and timeframe. He even showed me every item he replaced. Where it was damaged, what it does, and why it’s important. I can not be more impressed! I have found my new mechanic here in Laredo and I would recommend him to anyone who ask!!

Excellent service, I took my Yukon for regular brakes maintenance and issues with the AC..owner took the initiative to look up any manufacturer recalls and even set up appointment with a local dealer so I could take my vehicle for repair covered under extended warranty. He could have easily charged me to do the repair himself, but instead saved me several hundred dollars. Honest and fair prices- will definitely take vehicle back for upcoming maintenance and repairs!
We are pleased with their customer service. Our truck has a wheeling bearing bust and Jerry was able to fit us in his tight schedule. We were traveling from Mexico to Indiana.

My family and myself have been lifelong customers for Jerrys Truck and Auto, and without a doubt, i can say, that we will not go anywhere else for the servicing and maintenance of our vehicles. A testament to them is the fact that I have had 3 dodge ram trucks that were sold with over 300 thousand miles on each of them, and they were maintained by Jerry and his staff. I never had to do anything drastic, and they maintained them and helped me get the most out of them. They are very reasonable in price, very professional, knowledgeable and will not do anything to your vehicle without discussing any and all possible options. I might add, the only reason that I sold my trucks, was to move on to a newer one, not because there was anything else wrong with them. The owners that have them now, are still running those trucks and taking them to Jerry for maintenance. Similar results with all of my families vehicles. If you want professional service, great staff, reasonable prices, and service with a smile, then look no further. They are second to none, and to me that is a fact
I have been taking my car to Jerry's for over a year and always get excellent service. The service is very quick and the staff is always very polite. Even though they don't do windshield wipers when I took to my car in for an oil change they went to the store bought the wipers and put them on for me. Highly recommend this place.
Sorry to do this but here goes. I met Jerry when he was on Ryan street, very honest and always looking out for your best interest. Once moved to his Calton location, the two vehicles I took to him were never "fixed". After having to take the vehicles back, and charged 4 figures each time, I decided to look into the vehicle myself and found the following:
Car 1- took in for spotting of what I noticed transmission fluid, was told by Jerry after diagnosis not transmission fluid, but worn out head gaskets and charged over 1k to get entire gasket kit installed. Back home, still spotting, went under it myself and found the transmission cooling line full of old grime. Took it back, says not the line, but coming from up top in the transmission and gets me to replace transmission gaskets, another 1k and still spotting along with clicking of my AC. Take it back, replaces transmission line I was asking for in the first place and diagnosis an actuator in dash causing the clicking, another 1k+ transmission covered, but clicking comes back, call Jerry, wanted me to take it back as possible another actuator. I take it somewhere else and pay $90 due due to new actuator being installed backwards.
Car#2 - front end suspension is off on older model vehicle. He diagnosed for days stating that he checked with people in San Antiono and needs to replace entire front end, paid top dollar, for parts from San Antonio (they left the box in the truck from local tire center. While driving, can hear the springs when hitting bumps, told Jerry, wanted me to take it back. Took it somewhere else and springs were installed backwards.
Looks like he has over head now and is taking out on his loyal customers.
The service was outstanding and quick. We came from out of State and had car troubles on the way. The towing company was horrible but when we contacted Jerry's they responded and were ready to work on our car. The price was so reasonable and the customer service was beyond our expectations. The moment you walk in there it feels like a family atmosphere. Highly recommend it!
