Called AAA for roadside assistance last night and was assigned Chapel Hill Automotive and Towing. Chris got to me quickly, got my car hooked up with no issues, and towed me right down 290. The ride back was made better by the nice convo. Appreciate y'all!

Our car broke down on a highway an hour past Houston with two hours to go in a trip to Austin. Chris from Chappell Hill Automotive & Towing arrived less than an hour after calling AAA. He was fast and prepped our car carefully for the ~60 mile tow back home. He was kind, courteous, and efficient. Situations like this feel so stressful. Chris made a hard situation feel better. Thank you, Chris!!

I had to used Hyundai Bluelink roadside assistance for a dead battery jump, Hyundai sent me this company for the issue and they were quick to respond to me and call me regarding their enroute status, and when the help assistance arrived, Shawn was quickly to give my dead battery life and car started right up again. I was highly pleased with the service and ease of use from this company!

My tire blew on my way to work today. Unfortunately, when I called to have them come out to change my tire (I wasn't strong enough to get the lug nuts off), I didn't have enough money to pay them nor did my car insurance cover it. This gentleman, Reakus Kohl, decided to come help me anyway, thank goodness..and with no charge. He was a God send! Even he had a tough time getting the lug nuts off! Thank you Mr. Kohl!!

My daughter had a car issue and was stuck on the side of the highway. The team from Gaston responded quickly, made her feel comfortable and took care of her issue on the spot. Definitely nice to know there are still honest and good people in the world!

This is the wrecker service to choose! Super grateful to Rick for kindly changing my tire today in Waller. He took extra time away from his service call to help a person in need. I was 150 miles from home and distressed about the flat, and he turned my day around! Great people at this company! Thank you Rick and Gaston Wrecker!

These people are awesome !! I was on my way home back to Blanco Tx from the Woodlands from my Dad's surgery earlier in the day. It was 4 pm when I noticed my Tahoe running hot. I called 2 other service centers. No one would come help me. GASTON'S said, "Let me call you right back." And 5 minutes later, the young lady did and had someone on their way. The young man was Great he waited with me till tpw truck got there and gave me a ride to their shop right down the rode. By this time it was xlose to 6pm . The put it straight in the shop went and got the parts and had me back on the road around 9pm. I had 21/2 hours left on my trip and my car ran great. Oh and the price was Very reasonable too. They were truly a BLESSING for me and went Way out of their way to get me home. I'm 60 yrs old and couldn't have done it without their Help. If your every find yourself needing a Great mechanic and family ran business GASTON'S are the people to use. Thanks Christine

On Sunday, may 21, 2023, Gaston Towing was notified by AAA to tow my vehicle back into Brenham, Texas after it was disabled on the side of the road. AAA gave a wrong address to the driver, who called me to verify the address or location. His name is Zach. To make a long story short, after 4 phone conversations with Zach, each time telling him an approximate location in FM 50N, and each time him saying he couldn't locate me, he called to tell me he wasn't coming. He was taking a call in Bellville, Texas. And, he didn't come. After a 5 HOUR WAIT, we were rescued by B &B Towing in about 30 minutes. I called Gaston's on May 22, spoke to the manager who said she'd speak to Zack and call me back. I've yet to receive a call. So, beware.

Today has been a day but every single person in this building was more than helpful and reassuring. The process for getting my car was the smoothest I’ve ever experienced and again the people inside was the cherry and whip cream on top. If my car is to ever get impounded again, I want it sent here. 10 out of 10 ?

Unbelievably bad experience 8:02 PM call because employee gets stuck in customers yard. They say driver will be there in an hour. Call back an hour later they said 30 minutes. Driver calls me says you’ll be there in 25 minutes. 35 minutes later I called him and he says he’s 25 minutes away. Tells me he had to stop and get gas. Another 25 goes by and he still 15 minutes away. He got lost even though I confirm the address with him. We continue to do this until 11:00 when he tells me he is five minutes away. Call him back 15 minutes later and he says he is eight minutes away! Finally pulls my driver out around midnight. My driver was on the clock the entire time. The driver calls me after he pulled the driver out and promises me he’s not drunk in the most slurred voice I’ve heard all day. She did not get home until nearly 2 AM. A long story short, I have to drive back from Louisiana overnight to cover her morning shift and I will now be missing Thanksgiving with my family. (our family gets together the week before) Absolutely unbelievable!

They helped my teenage daughter get her car unstuck at the parking across from fair. There was a HUGE hole in the ground that she got stuck in. There were cars parked EVERYWHERE and they got her out like magic. Can’t thank them enough for taking care of my girls!!! Washington County needs to go take care of that!

My car refused to start for some unknown reason. Travis and Derek came to tow it for us and were completely professional, courteous, and helpful. I highly recommend Gaston Wrecker Service without reservation. These two young men were the best!!! I thank them both!

I discovered a flat tire on my SUV at about 5:30 in the afternoon on New Years Day and a Saturday at that. John was here within about 30 minutes. He was very courteous and efficient. He put my spare tire on and I will deal with the cut tire next week. Thanks to John from Gaston Wrecker for the help. It is good to know they are right here in the neighborhood when you need them!

Terrible customer service my truck broke down on 359 passing 290 business about a mile and the axle on my truck broke. I called up asking their price and how long. It would take them about an hour which is fine but 250. When trying to negotiate didn’t even specify pickup price and their mile rate straight up 250. Then proceeded to be rude and say if you’re not going to pay go find someone else don’t waste my time wish i could give 0 stars Terrible customer service

I called this company because that's who my All-State provider chose. Called twice to confirm someone was coming and the guy told me that the driver will contact me. 1hr after ETA, I called back he said the same thing. Called All-State and they told me that they couldn't get anyone out. Why didn't he just tell me that earlier. Now we risk the chance of getting towed by the gas station.

Professionalism and courtesy go a long way when you’re in a rut! I was on my way to Austin when the tire on my car blew out on the highway about 50 miles outside of Houston. Not being from the area, I was a little concerned when I called MB roadside assistance and was told the tow truck was two hours away. Not only did Shawn show up an hour earlier than anticipated, his friendly demeanor and stellar customer service made what could have been a stressful experience an easy trip to the dealership all the way in The Woodlands! This was my first time needing a tow truck in all my years of owning a Mercedes-Benz and I’m glad that Shawn came to the rescue. I was very pleased with how he treated my vehicle when loading and unloading, and he even stopped to shake my hand and wish me well before heading off to another tow. These guys are awesome! 10/10 would recommend to friends and family.

How do you give no stars? My husband just picked up our van for the second time (third if you count the time it we were told it was ready, but it actually wasn't!! That is a 70 mile drive from Spring TX) and again, the check engine light is on. When my husband arrived, he asked to speak to the mechanic and he was told to go talk to him in the back but somehow he disappeared?! There was no one there to explain to him what happened. How do you treat customers this way after spending $3400? And having so many mishaps. So here is a summary: We were on our way to Johnson City September 20th when our transmission locked up. Gaston Wrecker was the closet service to our location. I really wish I could go back in time and just have paid them to tow us back to Houston. Here is what went down at this extremely terrible shop: 1. They told us the car would be ready October 9th. We drove all the way there (75 or so miles) only to be told the van was not ready. a) I am not sure they are aware that letting us know is an option. I think they are afraid of phones. The mechanic actually has little to no communication skills. 2. I believe it was October 15 or 16th when we headed back to get the car. 60ish miles into our drive, the check engine light comes on. The car also feels strange, it is too noisy when pressing the gas and it just seems to struggle. a) We let them know. They will have a wrecker in the area so they picked it up. 3. During the the time they have the vehicle, we are told they had to drop the engine more than once due to the solenoid going bad in the transmission. So basically. they "fix" the transmission, try to run it and the transmission breaks. a) The worst part is they must recognize my husband's number, as they actually *stop* answering his calls. He had to ask his coworker to call to get information. After that, they stopped picking up his calls as well. b) Yesterday, 11/12/19, my husband asked me to call as no one was answering his calls. Low and behold, someone answers. They sounded annoyed that I was calling about our van. i) They wanted to send me to the mechanic and I said no, please let me talk to a manager or someone with more stake in the customer service area. By now, my convinced the mechanic has not worked on something this complicated. ii) I spoke to someone that claimed to be the shop owner. I told her I wanted *her* to talk to the mechanic, I was not interested in speaking to him. She was a bit surprised we had no idea what was happening as she said the van had been ready! Sadly, she was under the impression we had been informed of the process or the status of our own care! I was like, no, my husband's friend called last week and they told him they had to drop the motor again. She was convinced it was ready. Not that any of this matters much... my husband picked up the van [November 12th] and 65 miles into his drive the check engine light came on. The codes are all transmission related. He did call the shop but no one really seemed interested in help him him out. My guess is they just gave up and are happily keeping our $3400 dollars. They made no offer to come get the van or let us take it somewhere on their time to a real mechanic to get fixed. I am not really sure what kind of people can take someone's hardworking money to provide a service and literally do nothing with it.

Our truck broke down 60 miles outside of Houston. We called Gaston and they were great!!!!!!! We determined that we would need to be towed back to Houston. Steve picked us up and he was great! His tow truck was large enough to comfortably fit our whole family and small dog. We are very grateful to Steve!!

Our car broke down in Caldwell Texas. I would recommend Gaston towing to everyone I encounter. Our tow driver Mr. Clay Cousineau had the best customer service, friendly, respectful and even helped my son and I push the car up the road on an incline he is a great guy. Thank you for what you guys do. You guys deserve more respect for what you do!

Was on vacation, running a quick errand when one of my coolant hoses sprung a pinhole leak. Local mechanic was unavailable, so I called AAA. They sent Landon out from Gaston and he was awesome. Knew right where we were, picked us up, dropped us off at the lodge, and headed to Houston with the car. He was a riot to chat with, especially considering we were in an area with many exotic animals. He was super polite, enthusiastic, and we could not have asked for better service. Thanks, Landon! Wrecker driver had no idea what to do on a diesel engine battery service. Things went downhill from there. Sent a second wrecker driver. He at least told me there nothing he could do. Now to find a competent service to help, plus deal with the damage caused by Gaston.

We had the need for a tow truck twice today. Sean and Ryan were both awesome and very friendly. AAA called them for us and so glad they did. If you are ever in the Brenahm area and need a tow call these guys! Life savers!

Gaston Wrecker was the company AAA sent to me when my car had to be towed out of Brenham, and I cannot say enough good things! AAA told me the truck would be there within an hour of my call, and I fully expected it to take the full amount of time. My truck was dispatched within 30 minutes, and we were on our way before the hour was up! THEN what could have been a very long and boring ride back to College Station ended up being the highlight of my day! Ryan was very personable, knowledgeable about his job (which you can tell he loves), and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the whole ride. Although I wish my car hadn’t had to be towed (and now repaired), I couldn’t have had a better experience than I did with Gaston Wrecker.

Your driver came to pick me up this evening after my truck stalled on 290. It could have been several different issues (including low fuel), so he made suggestions & had me back on the road in no time at all. He was extremely polite, knowledgeable & overly cautious to ensure that me & my vehicle were safe at all times. It was a pleasure meeting this young man & having his assistance - he was wonderful & a great ambassador for your company!

Gaston Wrecker was the tow service that came and got me, my wife and our two dogs in the middle of the night after losing the motor in my dodge diesel on the way back to Freeport, TX. The driver recommended a hotel and delivered us and our disabled vehicle to the hotel. While trying to decide what to do the next day, the driver came back by on his way to another call to check on us (without me calling him). Decided right then we would have the Gaston mechanic, Orville, look at the truck. Very glad we did. Long story short, we ended up contracting the motor replacement for the vehicle through Gaston Wrecker. As anybody knows, this is neither a easy or inexpensive task. When it comes to diesel engines, you can add a zero to the end of replacement parts cost. Rodney helped me at each decision point giving a personal opinion as several of his wreckers had the same drivetrain as my truck. He never lost patience over countless questions and delays while I poured over the information. Marne and my wife handled the billing which by the way was extremely fair. Orville was a wealth of knowledge regarding diesel engines. The craftsmanship he showed and the attention to detail under the hood was something I wish Dodge would adopt. When the mechanic's personal diesel truck has 850,000 miles on it and had worn out 4 gooseneck balls pulling, all doubt is removed. Truck is back better than I remember it being since I bought it new at a fair price with no issues. Events in life always have two sides to them. I lost a diesel motor to my vehicle in the dead of night in unfamiliar territory with my family with me. I was picked up and taken care of from beginning to end by a family owned business that handled things professionally and provided a quality service at a fair price. And I made some new friends. Yeah......this goes in the win category.

After calling roadside assistance we waited 4 hours just to have the original wrecker service cancel on us. Gaston wrecker was the second wrecker service the roadside assistance contacted and they came in an hour. The driver was friendly and very helpful.
