My boat was having issues with the battery dying and Flagship towing showed up ahead of schedule, very pleasant to work with and got me home safe and sound. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing help out on the water!!

We’ll be telling the Capt Calvin story—beer in hand, at the fire pit for years. I took my neighbor (a widow who never takes her boat out), my daughter, her best friend, and my son for a ride down the intracoastal to run her engine. My wife decided not to come along, which turned out to be a wise move once the lightning showed up. About a mile and a half down the Intracoastal, I thought we ran out of gas when the boat Engine shut off. What had actually happened was the fuel pump died. She had a tow membership, but the wait was about 45 minutes, and thunderstorms were building fast. That’s when we spotted Capt Calvin cruising by. I thought we were just out of gas—he gave us 5 gallons—but the engine stayed silent. Even with the weather turning ugly, Capt Calvin offered to tow us in. Before long, lightning was cracking on both sides, The rain was coming down in buckets. The kids and my neighbor were huddled in the boat, and Capt Calvin handled the tow with the precision of a Coast Guard rescue drill—tying lines and guiding us right into the slip without a hitch. As lightning flashed overhead, he grinned and said, “Think you might want to be a Towboat Captain?” I thought it was gonna cost a lot of money but he didn’t charge us anything for the tow. I ended up sending him a good tip via Zelle for his hard work, care, and compassion. Would give this dude 6 stars if I could. Highly recommend

My dad and I were out on the jet skis in the river at New Smyrna, having a blast jumping waves, when one of our skis suddenly died on us. Turns out we lost a fuse. Just when we thought we’d have to tow it back in, Flagship Towing came by and saved the day! Not only did they stop to help, but they actually had the exact fuse we needed. Within minutes, we were back on the water. Super friendly, quick, and prepared couldn’t ask for better service. Highly recommend them to anyone out on the water!

Captain Calvin has helped us out on the water multiple times, and every experience has been outstanding. Whether we needed a boat recovered or a tow back when stuck, he always arrived quickly and handled everything with skill and professionalism. He’s reliable, efficient, and clearly knows what he’s doing. We’re very grateful for his help and highly recommend him and Flagship Towing!

Ben was super nice and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The sailboat motor had issues and we were unable to proceed further due to being unable to navigate the drawbridge without the motor. While waiting for a tow, the tide went out and we got a little stuck in the mud, so not only did he get us unstuck he towed us to our slip. Brand new Tow boat. Would definitely use them again!

Captain Calvin was absolutely a great today. Helped me get the boat on the trailer and had all the right tools for the outdrive that was stuck down. Pumped the water out the bilge so the boat wasn’t so heavy. Honestly a great person and definitely recommend him for a tow. Thanks again captain!

My insurance company (Progressive) contacted Flagship Towing and Captain Dan arrived ahead of time. He was safe, courteous and knowledgeable. He got the engine started with a jump to the starter and we made it back to the ramp under our own power. Highly recommended.

Flagship Towing saved us from a big storm. We had to pull over by the shore and our jet ski got stuck in the sand. Their service was amazing and we got back safely. Thank you Captain Ben!

Quoted me $350 per hour… pulled our boat less than 50ft into a slip bc it broke down right before the marina. Had my husband sign a few papers, didn’t even mention a price & sure enough charged us over 1k … absolutely ridiculous. Sick to take advantage of someone and not be upfront and honest. I’d steer clear unless you want to be ripped off. I’ll edit this review if they remediate it.

They helped us recently when we had boat trouble on lake Austin. It took them about 45 mins to make it to us. They were very kind and helpful. We thought it was just our gas, but they brought gas and we still had trouble so they towed us to Walsh Landing. Overall a good experience, but very very expensive. It ended up costing us $700! So definitely carry gas, and use these guys as a last resort.

Captain Ben at Flagship did a wonderful job getting us back to land. He was there quickly and was polite and courteous. Thanks again

Hubs and I were out enjoying the beautiful day, boating around the bay and all of a sudden the motor would not accelerate. It was about 1 pm, high Sun and We were sizzling… the boat would not accelerate past 2 mph. Thankfully, we were able to get a hold of Ben who rescued us (our night and shining armor) And he was able to tow us home. He said he’d be out within 30 minutes and he was! He kept his eye on us the entire time throughout the tow making sure that we were ok! We are so thankful to Ben! Thank you, thank you, thank you❣️are a rockstar❣️

Capt Ben was there to the rescue! Great job getting me under tow and maneuvered us perfectly to the dock. Better job docking than me doing it myself without a tow. Highly recommend!! Thanks Capt Ben for a safe ending of my day.

A big shout out to Captain Owen out of Volente on Lake Travis! My engine overheated and I needed a tow back to my slip @ West Beach Marina. I was blown away with his kindness and professional skills in getting me back in my slip with the absolute smoothness! Many Thanks Brother Owen!

6/5 stars. Capt. Ben was incredible. Made an otherwise horrible broke down day so much better. Service was fast and his skill was on display getting us into our marina. If you're broke down around St. Petersburg, definitely call Ben.

Ran out of gas in Tierra Verde and Ben saved the day. Amazing captain, very nice person and with a fantastic company. Thanks again. Will be a return customer (although hopefully not breaking down again soon lol)

My motor failed near Apollo Beach. I have Sign&Glide coverage through Progressive, and they dispatched Ben who was there in 30 minutes. He was super friendly, got us all back safe, even helped put my pontoon boat on the trailer.

Got stranded on lake LBJ due to a disconnected circulation hose. Velma did a great job with dispatch and Cory was there within 30 minutes. He went above and beyond to get us going again - he also diagnosed the issue. Very professional and knowledgeable. Thanks!

My boat had a fire in the engine compartment and purely by chance Chris with Flagship was riding by with his kids. Without hesitation he saw smoke and rode directly for me, picked me up and calmly extinguished the fire using his boat prop to throw water on my boat. Not an exaggeration to say he saved my life.

Had to use Flagship Towing today. Captain Ben was excellent. Got to us when he said, and provided great service. Ended up needing a tow back to the marina and Captain Ben executed this flawlessly. Really appreciated the assist. Safe and professional. If you are in need of a tow or assistance on the water, Flagship Towing and Captain Ben are a good call.

Capt Ben was awesome. I have a pretty heavy boat and was completely grounded and he pulled out of some serious shallow water no problem. Was at my boat and towing me within an hour calling. Definitely the ones to call if ever in need!

Ben was beyond amazing. We just bought a boat and had problems as a result of a careless boat next to us. Ben gave us his private number and stayed in communication with me all the way to us. I am big into communication and think communication is the key to success. Ben was amazing. He was so friendly, can directly to us and was so patient which I appreciated caused we have just messed up our boat on the 2nd time taking it out. He talked to my husband about boats. He ensured our safety and comfort, even offering us waters. Then when we go to the marina where we docked he helped my husband with the trailer which speed up the time. He did not just leave us there but took care of us above and beyond. He also was very safe to drive slowly for safety and comfort. If we need towing service I want just Ben every time. I would rate him beyond the highest rating. I work in customer service so I am really picky who I give praise to but Ben deserves it above and beyond. Amazing job!!

Just want to give a big thanks to Capt. Ben and flagship towing! We "seemed" to have a dead battery after hanging out for the day at Eggmont key. He was quick to respond by phone and kept us updated with his position enroute. He had us underway quickly and had great insight and tips to avoid future issues on the water. Capt Ben was great! One of our engines cut out while working our way through the channel into our harbor at the end of a great Easter Sunday afternoon out on Tampa Bay. We were able to get anchored and waited maybe 30 minutes. Ben showed up and gave us a jump and then followed us in to make sure we got into our slip after dark. Prompt and excellent service!

Our boat broke down 30 minutes into our day on the water; a stressful situation with 2 toddlers onboard. Flagship towing and Capt Ben were extremely fast in getting to us, communicating with us every step of the way and with knowledgeable professional service. We had a wonderful experience with Flagship Towing.The captain was amazing. He kept us informed every step of the way. He did a great job of giving us option due to the very low tide getting the boat off the lift. It was truly a pleasure dealing with him. We will definitely refer him to family and friends.
