ZERO accountability. My trash has been on the curb since Sunday night. They pickup on Mondays. They drove right by ours and did the rest of the street. My retired neighbor saw them and even told us the truck number. Wife called and they said they’d come out. I get home today and the trash is still there. It’s Wednesday evening now. I called they lied and said driver has tried and we didn’t have it out there by 8am. I told her it’s been out there since Sunday night. Then another excuse I called her on and then she said it would probably be picked up tomorrow, AT THE LATEST FRIDAY. Just apologize and have someone come out, don’t ask a driver TELL A DRIVER TO go out and make it right. Specifically the one who missed it NO EXCUSES. The military way. OWN IT DONT MAKE EXCUSES, JUST FIX IT. FRIDAY?????? An entire week to fix something that was CLEARLY missed, and then lied about why it wasn’t picked up WITH A WITNESS??? Sad!
My payment was made and trash was left. I live in a rural area and now the dogs will be after the large amount passed by. The system should have been updated and they should not have just passed by my trash barrel. a $35 charge for them to return when that is not my fault is ridiculous! Especially before the freeze! Beyond disappointed and rude customer service.
Yeah, so I give TDS 1 star bc I have had issues with my green waste being picked up including yesterday 1-14-26. This is the 2nd time this has happened. I was home and saw that trash truck coming down my street. Why those workers didn't pickup my green waste is beyond me. We have a bunch of leaves in our containers. According to the CSR I talked to yesterday to report the issue stated they missed my containers and I would need to allow 24 to 48 hours for those workers to come around and get my green waste. So I have to wait 2 days when they could have just picked it up the day of. Its ridiculous! If they missed it then hey offer to come pick it up next day reason why they messed up! So I asked the CSR at the end of our conversation yesterday how we could avoid this she gave me a generic answer. All I can say. These people need to do better. We pay for this service so follow through and do your job right! 5 stars to the CSR who helped me and called me back with a response.
Horrible customer service!! When the price of the trash load was questioned, the worker (a kid) responded with, “well rich people throw things away and the poor reuse and recycle.” If we weren’t in such a hurry, we would have asked to speak to his manager. Don’t ruin someone else’s day just because you hate your job and/or life. Do better! 0/10 would not recommend going to this dump site.
Their online prices, they don't honor. We came with half a truck bed of tile and they charged $160. The woman made a bunch of excuses about the price. We could have rented a small rolloff for that insane charge. Very questionable.
This place is the worst. This company decided to cancel our contract because our road is unsafe for the garbage truck. They cancelled us last year wanting to charge us a cancellation fee that we didn't ask for and we have been burning our trash since as we have NO choice. All the years of service they would miss pick-ups and not come back until the next scheduled pickup. We have been trying to find another company to pickup trash, but they none exist. This place has horrible employees that answer the phone, they are rude and lack professionalism and understanding. We were paying $168.00 every three months for 2 cans. The owners should be ashamed.
Contacted the landfill and asked how much it would be if I brought a couch in. They quoted me $25 with no mention of a minimum charge or anything. When I got the couch down there they were trying to charge me $107 (an $82 minimum plus $25 for the couch). This is clearly bait and switch, and they are hoping that once you get all the way out there you will have no better option than paying the increased price. I have forwarded this information to the BBB and FTC.
My compliments and appreciation to the driver(s) for doing a remarkable job. They leave no trace that they were here other than an empty dumpster container, and the reverse beeps that we only hear only if we are outside. We have free range sheep and the drivers have never left the gate open for the sheep to escape and they drive so cautiously that they have never endangered the sheep. Toni is so helpful, makes things so easy for me, and always delivers impeccable customer service. We have TDS for maybe a year now.
Texas Disposal Systems continues to pick up trash at my apartment complex in the middle of the night — often between 12:30 and 6:30 a.m. — despite dozens of formal complaints and communications from management. The noise is not minor. We’re talking construction-level banging, metal crashing, and repetitive beeping that wakes people up and disrupts sleep on a regular basis.
This has gone on for months, significantly impacting the quality of life for everyone who lives in the immediate vicinity. They have assured management that the issue has been addressed, yet, their record is still showing up at odd hours more than appropriate ones.
On what planet is it acceptable to operate heavy, loud equipment in a densely populated residential area at those hours? The complete disregard for the community and for basic decency is astounding.
Man after reading the reviews I was hesitant about using the landfill. Well let me say my experience was very pleasant. I rolled up to the window let the person know what I had and he directed me to the area to unload. Next, two gentlemen met me at the unloading area and helped me unload my trash. Now with that being said I thought the price was ridiculously high!!! $82 money for a full side pickup truck . Overall my first experience was good ...
they are charging ppl that are doing clean up after the flood the ppl of texas should not have to donate for disposal fees our donations should go to housing and things of that nature good bless everyone affected and thank you to the ones helping and ableist to are donating god loves you and we all respect the hell out of ya
Drivers will say and makeup anything too get a house they've pick up from for over year off there stop. If the stop requires any sort of work or thought. We moved our trash can over 400 yards away from the home just to accommodate the driver and our driveway the driver viciously ruined by speeding down and reversing down for no reason and that still wasnt sufficient. Disabled relatives cannot carry trash over a mile away from the residence to make the Drivers route easier and more convient. Spoke with customer service and anything that the driver says is what goes despite over a year of service. The drivers and drivers management are extremely unprofessional and should be held accountable for bad service and missed pickups and false claims of too much bulk. Pictures sent miles away from the stop and when infact the driver is just being lazy and not wanting to do there job. Just like what they pick up trash !
We had a great experience, not sure why there’s bad reviews and it concerned me before coming so I wanted to share our experience. Missed the entrance and got lost, called the security number and the woman was so pleasant and friendly. It was $82 and they had a man there to help us dump it all, I actually didn’t have to do anything and my husband helped him but he would have done it all for us I think. Super clean facility too, we drove by their headquarters/offices and it’s beautiful.
I’ve had this trash service for 1 month and they have only picked up my trash 1 time. Everytime they don’t come on the scheduled day i call and say they will come the next… NEVER HAPPENS!! I almost call everyday just to hear excuses after excuses. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE! Customer “care” does not care. I explained to them that they keep missing my service and the lady pretty much refused to transfer me to a supervisor and told me “they’ve only missed 2 trash services”. I would like to know how she would feel when the trash is pilling up in her home. I can’t put the trash outside due to critters tearing it up. I told them I need to cancel and they told me I need to pay a cancellation fee of $200 even though they are not keeping their part of the contract!! Please do not bother to get this trash service. Horrible customer service wish I can go back in time and do my research. Live and learn unfortunately
We just started our service a couple weeks ago, and it’s been the 3rd time they don’t pick up our trash. It’s always some kind of excuse with them as for the reason of them not picking up the dang trash. This time the excuse was that the lid was open, on a 20 mph windy day lol We NEVER had any problems when we lived at our last residence! They’re a joke, save you the hassle and look for somebody else to service your trash needs
TDS landfill is an efficient and hassle free process every time! Be sure to know from their website what items may cost extra and rules like always tarping your cargo until you dump and you should be in and out with no problem. My business disposes debris here many times per week and has always had a consistent and efficient experience. Pricing is fair, especially considering that the wait time at other landfills may be double or triple what TDS is! I would recommend TDS as a reliable and hassle free disposal facility.
These people cannot be trusted. The rules change dramatically depending on who you're dealing with. What they told me on the phone was completely different than what they did in person. Their lies cost me hundreds of dollars.
I just paid $132 for a truck load of old furniture. The workers were polite and fast! Remember people it’s $80 minimum meaning the lowest you’re going to pay, so if you take stuff make sure it’s worth it! Very satisfied!
Every TDS employee at every location is phenomenal. Every TDS employee that works in the actual landfill is great as well. For some reason all the employees that work at the landfill office or intake scale is determined to be as difficult as humanly possible. I have a hard time remembering an experience dealing with a business that makes it so difficult to do business with them. I avoid this location like the plague. Do yourself a favor and use one of the satellite locations in Georgetown or Bee Cave if you can. It’s less expensive and the staff is so much better.
Dealt with a very rude white kid with a ponytail and thick glasses. After he inspected my 7 trash bags in the bed of my truck he told me “I’m going to charge you 87.50….for 7 trash bags. They have a policy of $24 to start for a pick up truck bed of trash. Their website says $33 but apparently the employees can just make up their mind of whatever they feel like charging you. I will never again do business with a place like this. Would give -0 stars if I could
Terrible company. We’ve used them for over 3 years with no issues. Then when our credit card expires, we end up not having our trash picked up for a month before they could fix the issue. They then used voice recordings to use only for their benefit with no one being up the fact we had to call over 4 times for them to come pick up our trash due to incompetent employees. Our account was updated and paid on the first call. The worst customer service possible. I wish my area offered other services. Customers beware
Lol. What a joke is this place. The only place that works like spirit airlines. Cheap at the beginning but once you arrive they charge you extra fee for everything. ‘Oh you plan on driving inside extra fee. Hahahah ‘
They wanted to charge $250 for a truck bed not even full because i had drywall and tile. Also because i did not use a stap which I did not need because I had everything in bags.

Lost my auto pay and took my trash can. Literally not a single text nor email telling me I missed payment or that they were going to repossess my container. When I called they told me they attempted to call me. These bills are paid three months at a time. Which means they had nearly 4 months to get in contact with me to re establish payment. Now I got bags collecting in the back of my truck waiting for my container to be returned.
Well, I got quoted $86 to dump 4 boxes. 3 of which were flattened. The guy peered into my window for a few seconds and said "Yeah, that's just the rate. If you drive home and flatten all of them, we can charge ya $4."
I didn't really feel like driving 30 minutes back home, so I took the bad deal. I felt like it wasn't right, and I even had a conversation with another employee about it... but he wouldn't budge either.
So, do I recommend this place? I mean; if you like to light your cash on fire, sure. You'll love it.
My experience here was fine. Paid $82.50 for a truck bed full of construction debris, which is the residential pick up rate plus environmental fees and taxes. Perhaps I just got a good rep but this is the second time I’ve been here in this truck and haven’t had problems. Pic of the truck for reference.
YOU WILL NOT GET THE $60 CAR/TRUCK/SUV RATE POSTED ON THEIR SIGNS!!!.. They charge regular vehicles as commercial vehicles and that starts at $185. It's a bait and switch tactic that is illegal under Section 5 (a) (1) of the Federal Trade Commission Act.
Any vehicle with construction debris pays commercial rate. Below is a picture of a commercial vehicle for TDS's reference. A PICKUP TRUCK IS NOT A COMMERCIAL VEHICLE!
You can tell this company is run by someone that wants money and doesn't like people. Website lists $66 minimum and no instructions about bringing in a load. When you get there, the minimum is $82.50. Then the bags of trash I had, that didnt even come above the sides of my truck, constituted another $20 charge for not being tied down. Then I wanted to pay with my business credit card and I was told "It's going to get more expensive." It was 4 bags of carpet padding...I would love to meet the owner of this place.
Today I waited for the trash truck to come so I could add a couple of extra bags I had on the side (the driver wouldn't even need to get out of the truck). I watched him get out two houses down, grab two small bags and dispose of them in a second dumping of their trash bin. As the driver gets to me, I wave - no acknowledgement. I'm waiting for him to dump the bin so I can put the excess bags in the receptacle so they can be disposed and THE DRIVER DRIVES AWAY! I asked the neighbor if they made any special requests for pickup and they hadn't. To the driver in truck 44075-20 on 11/03/2022... Horrible service!
One star because i had to give them something. Pretty sure the driver sees this. After dropping the dumpster back down but chooses to leave it. This is twice now. Im forced to use them because im in the kyle city limits and city of kyle fines you if you dont use tds. Update: 9/13. Happened again!!!! Called and was told they weren’t supposed to pickup my trash, but trash was jot completely emptied. Employee Stephanie was so rude. Ask to talk to a manager. Still waiting on that call.
