The girl behind the counter was extremely rude! I questioned their pricing and she said I wasn’t welcome there. She asked to take my picture 3 times!! Worst service I’ve experienced from a recycling center!

I'm going to have to say that they were fast, and they were very efficient, an incredibly competent. I like how patient they were with me. I would recommend DFW recyclers to anyone.

Went here for the first time 1,18,2025. Was cleaning out the garage and thought about recycling instead of just trash day. This place was the closest. I parked, the forklift driver brought a container over, I separated the items, he took the container to the scales (they weigh everything right in front of you). Took my ticket to the office and got a check for the items. Easy peasy. Everyone was nice what more could you ask for. Thanks DFW Recyclers!

This place is a rip off. Very bad grading of computer boards and other e waste. Save your time. I have been dealing with e scrap for a few years so I know the grades. Took a sample size of about 100lbs of various grade boards . Ended up with $69 check?????? WTH?? I didn’t even argue . Not worth the headache. But I knew I was never going back. I was looking for a local yard that would pay a fair price instead of having to ship them. This is not it. You are better off shipping to boardsort or other ewaste online buyers. They will pay top $$ just the hassle of shipping.

I brought in several boxes of scrap aluminum, copper, brass, etc that I'd collected at home over the years. It's a little confusing when you're coming in for the first time and don't know the protocol, but everyone I asked was helpful and pointed out where to go at each step of the process. I started by pulling up to the ramp on the right (west) side of the main building. The lady at the window asked what kind of material I was bringing in, and then directed me to park over on the opposite (east) side of the building instead and said somebody would meet me there. After I parked there, a forklift pulled up to my truck carrying a big bin, where I placed all my boxes of scrap metal. Then they carried it over to the scale, where they weighed everything according to material type (I had already sorted the different metals into different boxes; I'm sure the process would be a lot more complicated if they had to sort everything on the spot). Once everything was all weighed, they directed me to the cashier's office. Be prepared to give the cashier your driver's license and license plate number (presumably to make sure you're not a thief selling metal that's not yours, which is reassuring). At the end of it all they gave me a check and an itemized receipt showing reasonable prices for everything. Overall, great experience once I understood the process, and I'll be back in the future.

Thieves work at the scale. Took (tare) 7lbs for two plastic buckets that weigh less than 0.5lbs each. Also price was crazy low, 3.65 when current spot is 4.20 I know it’s usually 20-30 cents under but 55 cents under is crazy!!! Go elsewhere!!! I know I had exactly 70lbs and 20lbs yet paid 66lbs for #1 copper and 18lbs for thhn copper. Thieves!!!

Brought several large bags full of flattened soft drink cans. I drove around the left side after entering the place and parked. A forklift brought a metal bin and laid it a few feet behind my vehicle. I dumped all my bags into it. They moved the bin onto a scale and sent the info to the office. At the office window, the clerk asked for my license plate number. After providing the first 3 digits of my plate number, she handed me a receipt with cash. Very easy process. I was there for less than 10 minutes.

The prices over the phone are good. I weigh my # 1 copper before taking it. On their scale showed 50 lbs less. It's not a way to do business.

Very helpful staff all around! Being my first visit, it was organized and very easy to navigate with help from the staff pointing in the right direction. I Will continue to bring my metals here weekly

Check your receipt they will put down cheaper metal to pay you less. then when you call them out on it they willing to fix but if you don't then too bad. It was not the point of the money because I was just trying to get rid of it. But 7.00 for a exhaust pipe with catalytic converter, what I look like . But those trying to get your a fair deal this is not the place. Good idea to have someone that speaks Spanish with you.

We scrap metal almost on a daily basis for my junk removal company. After trying out many scrap yards in the area, this is our go to place. Friendly staff and very willing to answer questions. They recently dropped off a dumpster for us for a large commercial Cleanout of industrial equipment. Great communication, on-time delivery, and a quick turn around to pick it up. Quick and easy payout for their commercial clients and fair prices. Highly recommend.

I went looking for scrap aluminum for a Halloween costume. I didn't find what I was looking for but everyone was super nice and helpful and they said they'd keep an eye out for something I can use and set it aside. It was honestly just fun to walk around and see what all they had i could see my friends and I exploring to get scraps for a project or something. It's honestly like a little gem.

I was looking to buy scrap metal. The office personnel just told me to be careful looking around. This place has some some trash, but a lot of treasures. I found the steel pipe for my Fusion Reactor, and it cost $9. They have aluminum, stainless, steel, and some chromed stuff, all generally sorted. This is a good resource. Most recyclers won't sell to the public, these folks say, "Come on down"!

I just brought a load for the first time today. I wasn’t sure what to do, but someone was quick to come and direct us. Seemed simple enough, and staff were friendly, but no one said anything about separating items so I’m not sure how that works, or if it is a flat fee. Overall I would use this facility again.

Very honest and straight forward company. Came to the big demo we are doing and even helped show us to separate to get more money back in our pocket. Will definitely use from here on out. Id give more stars if I could. Thank you, Grapevine Business Park.

I visited back when no gun was available, (I called to get pricing) but I am glad to hear that you can price out special alloys since you are much closer to me than my normal spot. I will try to stop by soon!

Very disappointed with the service. I called two months in advance to ensure that a trailer would be available for a project and was told it was not an issue and to call back the week before. Did just that and was told there were no trailer available even though we had called ahead of time

I used to have to wait to go visit my parents in Garland to sell to a yard that didn't have to much. Tried a few places on this side of town, but never had a great experience until I came to DFW recyclers. I've been coming here steadily for over a year now. Never a long wait, great setup for selling tin. Employees are fair and a pleasure to interact with. Highly recommend.

If it wasn't for Google making it mandatory for a minimum of at least 1 star, I wouldn't put that. My issue isn't about you having a multicultural staff nor is it about whether you allow anyone to break down material on your property. This is solely about the discrimination I witness first hand while selling material to certain staff that work your small scale. It's ironic whenever the owner is on the small scale EVERYONE that comes through to sell metal on the small scale, it's a fair sell. There's no favorites, extras, errors, if your metal don't make the weight he gives it back; he darn sure doesn't write for metals on a ticket that you don't have based on you're the same ethnicity as he is. Hell I've seen this for myself. Example, I was told to take the inside out of brass doorknobs in order to be considered brass. I get that. Then a hispanic guy get yellow brass for doorknobs that has that iron piece still in it. This is just one of the things I've seen while coming to this location. Well what I will do is record the next time I see some discriminative situation such as this then send it to the BBB. I'm not looking to be paid more, but treated fairly and equally. If you hire staff for a designated task, an owner shouldn't have to be there 24/7 just for everyone to be treated equally. I don't mean to come off pugnacious or demean the company as a whole. I do apologize. My issue has solely been with your small scale and weigh in staff.

They paid us $1.80 for tin ($0.04 per pound) for the copper that was in the evaporator coil from an old AC unit because we had not separated the copper from the tin. I sent the unit with my two sons (20 and 18 years old) who didn't know that we were supposed to do that and were not told that either. He claims he has been in business twenty years but yet he didn't have the decency to inform the teens. I tried calling first thing the next day and finally made contact after not even being able to leave messages on voice mail but was told it was too late as the unit had been already crushed (which I seriously doubted). When I asked the owner his name, he wouldn't spell out his weird sounding name and told me that I could basically spell it any way I wanted?? Not a model of a customer friendly business to me but more an example of highway robbery.
