What clients say about Eagle Auto Parts in East Hamilton (TX)

It’s a ok place nothing fancy. The parts/ everything else in the store is about 3x more expensive than anyone else driving 30 minutes to autozone is definitely a better option. Went in for fuel filters and got priced 280$ lol went to AutoZone and got them for 80$! Definitely price gouging

Review of Eagle Auto Parts, Hamilton, Texas: A Comedy of Errors with No Punchline Let me set the scene at Eagle Auto Parts in Hamilton, Texas—a place where dreams of fixing your car go to take a long, awkward nap. Walking into this store is like stepping into a sitcom where the writers forgot to give the characters any redeeming qualities. The star of this tragicomedy? A heavyset young employee whose single brain cell seems to have clocked out for an extended vacation, leaving behind a void filled with attitude and a patchy beard that’s trying way too hard to make a statement. I witnessed this employee treat the customer ahead of me with such stellar rudeness that the poor guy didn’t just leave—he practically sprinted out the door, abandoning his quest for auto parts like he was fleeing a bad date. I don’t blame him. The vibe was less “customer service” and more “hostile interrogation.” It’s like the kid was personally offended that someone dared to ask for help in a store where, presumably, helping customers is the entire point. Now, let’s talk about the store itself. Half the shelves aren’t priced, which turns shopping into a bizarre game of “Guess the Cost.” Spoiler: you’ll lose, because the staff isn’t exactly rushing to enlighten you. The two young employees working during my visit seemed to share a single work ethic, and it was set to “minimum effort.” I’m not saying they shouldn’t be allowed to work in the US, but maybe they’d be better suited to a job where human interaction isn’t required—like guarding a deserted island. The patchy-beard kid, in particular, had an attitude so unwarranted it was almost performance art. I’ve seen more charm from a rusted tailpipe. Out of sheer secondhand embarrassment, I followed the first guy’s lead and left without buying anything. It wasn’t worth the psychic damage of enduring another minute of that customer service trainwreck. To the owner of Eagle Auto Parts: your staffing strategy needs an overhaul more urgently than a ’92 Civic with a blown head gasket. Hire people who can at least pretend to care, or at least stock the shelves with price tags so customers don’t need a psychic to shop here. In short, Eagle Auto Parts is a place where potential goes to sulk. If you enjoy chaos, rudeness, and a mystery pricing system, this is your spot. For everyone else, there’s probably a better option—like literally any other auto parts store. 1/5 stars, and that’s generous.

Last weekend I was passing through town on a trip heading back home. Found that my car battery was dead after we stopped across town at a gas station. I called these guys to see if they had a replacement battery. They did. I had hoped they would deliver to me (lol) but I had to get out and start walking. Granted, they closed in like 25 minutes and I had walk almost completely across town to get there before they closed at 4. Google said it was going to be a nearly 30 minute walk. Well, I made it right at 4 and they had the battery waiting for me. Since he was getting off work one of the guys drove me back to my car and let me borrow a pair of pliers to be able to swap it out. (I did drop the pliers back off at the front door before I left town, hope you guys found them). I think I would have died trying to carry that battery back the nearly two miles to my car. I hope to never need them again but if I did I wouldn't hesitate at all. Thanks again guys for helping me out. (BTW - it was the alternator that was bad and the car died again on I30 east of Fort Worth. It was a really long day.)

Staff is friendly, but beware of price gouging. Bought a part, later returning it. They charged 140 plus bucks for it, and I found the same thing online for 49 dollars. Will be here in two days.

I love that the staff will come out to your car and put small parts on for you. New light bulbs, fluids, wipers, etc. always kind and willing to help. Josh and his crew will even come out bring you a part if you can’t get to them.
