This place will give your children a false perception/impression on Christ , they claim to not take “aggressive” children but almost every child at this place are aggressive. There’s no freedom , the kids are stranded with little to nothing to do. Again , please don’t send your kids here
The "Christ centered " claim is paper thin. Beyond sitting in church Sundays and maybe a practically useless snippet one evening during the week, they don't know how to walk with the Lord more than the average guy on the street, and they don't want to know how. This means there's a monstrous gap in their ability to truly, deeply help young people.
I know some ranchers did not have a pleasant experience. Overall, I appreciate the dedication of the staff who dedicated their lives to try and change along of trouble kids' lives, specifically Paul and Susan Jones, Mrs Lamont Waldrip, Kurt and Terri Overton, Mr Mrs Peggram. I interacted with these people on a regular basis.
Fantastic facility for young people.
Boy's Ranch can enable young people to get on track and find meaning on what they want in their daily life and build on the future.

Taught 8 years at Mimi Farley Elementary School. Definitely has been the highlight of my teaching career. Truly honored by receiving the Teacher of the Year Award at Mimi Farley Elementary. Most importantly this is a Christian school district lovingly and caringly giving kids positive hope and new beginnings in their lives. I was truly blessed to be a minute part of it those 8 years!
Had a trail ride here as a fundraiser for a horse rescue group (Panhandle Safe Hayven Equine Rescue), and it was wonderful! And beautiful...and the institution does wonderful things for young men & women.
