Island Tire did it again. They fixed my truck that was supposedly fixed at the dealership. They found the issue, called me with the issue and some options. I chose to have them fix it and they picked me up today and my truck drives like new!! Thank you for fixing my truck and the hospitality as well. BZ!!

To add to my previous review, Island Tire & Auto has been our go to for car/truck repair for 17+/- years! My wife called from in town with her car showing check engine, etc….I went to her and followed her to Island Tire….told Sally the problem and that we had to leave town for a couple of days….she got back to me early the next morning with details and cost and her car was ready for pick up when we returned the next day! Fast, Friendly, Professional Service at a reasonable price! You can’t beat that kind of service these Days!
Love Sally! She’s the office mgr that schedules repairs and she is awesome! Love her comment when she’s talking to customers…’Right On’…and takes me back to good ol’ days of the 70’s! She’s great and makes sure the techs/mechanics deliver on-time! Great Place on The Island!

Car wouldn't start and live near Island Tire & Automotive. They came to my home to jump start my car and replaced the battery at the shop. Also noted I was low on oil so added a couple of quarts. Always helpful and happy to support an Island business.
Got my car in rapidly. They did a thorough diagnostic and discussed it with me in detail. Kept me informed on all stages of the repair. They do great work! They are my go to for car repair.
The people are friendly, helpful, And competent! They diagnosed a problem but suggested it might be under warranty at a dealership. The particular issue was outside the scope of services they could provide. I will return to island tire when I need service.
The entire team is friendly, efficient, honest. They have always gotten to my vehicle quickly and they call or text before doing any repairs not requested.

Great experience here with honest feedback. We had an older cash car that was hit and needed an estimate on repairs to determine the costs. They were not pushy with the repairs or services recommended/needed.

These guys are a breath of fresh air. They’re trustworthy, honest, communicate clearly, and genuinely care about keeping your vehicle safe. You can tell they take pride in their work and in the way they treat their customers. Since moving to the island a few months ago, they’ve worked on my truck, my trailer, my golf cart, and most recently, a used Jetta we bought and will be gifting to our daughter as her first car.
When I brought the Jetta in for an oil change, I had new wipers and air filters sitting in the front seat that I planned on installing myself later. To my surprise, when I picked the car up, they had already installed them. They did it without me asking, and without making a big deal about it. Just thoughtful and quality service.
They also performed a full inspection and recommended replacing the brake fluid. They were happy to take care of it, but it would’ve required me to leave the car overnight or arrange another ride. I mentioned my wife would be traveling and I wouldn’t have transportation, then they simply offered to come pick me up when the car was ready. That level of customer service is rare these days.
They gave me a fair price, did excellent work, and went the extra mile without being asked. I couldn’t be happier, and I have no doubt they’ll treat you the same way. That’s just who they are.
Great service. My truck broke down on the first day of an extended fishing trip. They got right on it so that I could have fun fishing while knowing that my truck would be ready when it was time to return home.
I used to take my car to the dealership where it would take half a day and not everything was being completed on my car. Every time I’ve gone to Island tire they are welcoming and work fast to get me out the door and on my way. I have been going to Island tire now for several years and will only take my cars to them now.
I don't know about the quality of work at this shop, but I do know they have horrible customer service. I had a check engine light come and noticed some fluid under the car so I brought it here in hopes they could maybe at least do a quick check for me, since it's Friday most places will be closed for the weekend. I show up at 5 and they close at 5:30. The lady at the counter said they couldn't do anything for me and it would be Tues until they might be able to help. Meanwhile while I'm looking at 3 mechanics in the lobby relaxing doing nothing, 3 of them. And the place was open for another 30 minutes and 3 guys with obviously nothing to do, but sit around on the clock and make money doing no work, and not one person could scan my car or looked at it. How difficult would if been to at least do a scan, that takes 30 seconds people. As I am explaining to the lady I'm from out of town and I could use some help if possible and I get no help. this is the customer service I was given at this establishment. And to make it worse I was telling the lady the vehicle had been repaired a couple months ago for a leaking transmission and it could be leaking for that reason. But nobody helped so I said well I guess I could try making it home and hope I make it. Here is where the customer service really goes downhill.. She responded with well that could void the repair they made. I asked how and she said cause I said it might be leaking around the transmission. But I don't know anything, I'm not a mechanic. Hell, it could have been condensation from my A/C line or something else, idk.. that's why I went to a supposed mechanic shop. I'm at a mechanic shop asking for them to look at it while they tell me they can't help but they have 30 minutes left before close and 3 mechanics in the lobby hanging out watching TV. Thanks for the help guys!!, your super awesome! And none of the guys sitting around said or did anything at all. Terrible customer service. I would never go here for anything, terrible. Zero stars, negative 5 star review!

Excellent and fast diagnosis and appointment of the only Toyota cooling pump issue they’ve ever ordered parts for when I stopped in with overheating. Parts were ahead of schedule and tremendous effort was put in to get my vehicle back days ahead of predictions! Fair pricing and personalized service continuously for many years! A+!
I'm a long time customer. Island Tire & Automotive is one of the very few auto repair facilities I have actually trusted to do the right thing by their customers in my 60 years of auto repairs. I've spent BIG bucks on needed repairs with them and have never once felt cheated.
We had a mini tire crisis that the staff at Island Tire was able to fix and get us back on the next day’s ferry home. They also fixed our spare quickly and at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this shop and it’s very helpful crew.
I took my car and dropped it off to get the rest of the maintenance stuff taken care of and they had it fixed in no time. I love the text message from them where I can see what was done and pay right online. I didn’t make it before they closed so I picked it up after hours. Thanks guys so much

We had a new AC installed just a compressor. It was not blown cold. We took our Car to Island tire. They promptly diagnose the problem. It had multiple problems. My wife also had to work in the evening. They let me have my car back each night for my wife. They worked around our schedule. My ac is blowing cold. .They were fantastic as usual.Well worth the peace of mind knowing its done right
Shout out to Ben at Island Tire & Automotive on NPI. Was having my boat shipped to Miami this morning and the transporter tells me he can't take it as it has bad bearings. Called around town and no one could get me into today. The transporter flew in from Florida so this was less than ideal. Luckily Ben at Island Tire & Auto was able to get me in and out very quickly. Here's the ringer, he wouldn't even let me pay him. I would have paid any price as I needed it done today and he knew that. Great service and integrity can be found at Island Tire & Automotive.
