This place is great! I had an old steel patio set that I needed to get rid of. This was my first time using this scrap yard but the guys there were very friendly and helpful. It was nice to get paid for the scrap rather than paying to drop it off at the dump
They usually pay a little more than everywhere else. They always give you 2 dollar bills which is cool. BUT THEY ALWAYS SCAM YOU ON YOUR WEIGHT. You better weigh your stuff before you go and watch them close. Double check your receipts for the weight you saw on the scale because they are always out to get ya.
I would double check your weight when you drop off your materials because their scales are not right. And when you go to ask can you reweigh they get angry and mad like you don't trust them. Of course I don't trust the skills reading isn't towards the customer where they can see how much it weighs out to. Scandalous people over there
Awesome place to go recycle all your metal and anything that can be recycled for some Xtra cash.Great people/ worker's, very respectful, and helpful.Dont forget to give them a resoablle tip for thier help. Keep up the good work fellas!!
friendly and helpful. the place across the way has a no time for people kind of attitude. this place was great bc they took time with me and they overlook my constant forgetfulness. I do appreciate kind folks.
We are now accepting unwanted vehicles must have title and no gas tank. On April 9th we will be closing at 4pm on Saturday's only. Sorry for the inconvenience we do not accept RVs campers or mobile homes.
These guys pay waaaayyyy more than any other I visit from corpus to Rockport and in between.... When I went and recycled here I felt like I was a king! Really twice as much maybe even 3 times as much as any other place!!n and the people here are super awesome down to earth guys who are very professional as well . Believe me I will NEVER go anywhere else ! They made me a customer for life!
The employees there are great. But this one guy who just is always rude. Dunno if he is the boss or supervisor but his attitude towards everyone is horrible. If they take him out the equation then the rest of the experience would be better.
First timers you will get paid with a check...after that...u get cash..over 2 hundred..it goes back to check. Not my preference. I strictly prefer cash .
I go there quite a bit and they are very friendly, they help you with your stuff, like separating copper and tin, aluminum and regular metal. It's good to give the guys a tip for helping you with your stuff. I usually go there to go shopping not to sell metal. I buy tables and chairs and knickknacks for the yard and toolboxes, all kinds of stuff. It's $0.20 a pound to buy things, unless it's aluminum, brass, or silver. That's $1.00 a pound. Prices go up & down, but it's always very they pick out the good stuff and put it to the side for people to buy so you don't have to dig through all that stuff which I think is really nice, but you'll still want to dig through the stuff anyway! Lol
Always helpful if beginner they explain to u how to separate each metal to get the most Pay out for your scrap very cool people and very patient if not organized and ready to go
Most disorganized recycling place, I've ever been too. They don't even give reciepts& all that metal just being thrown all over in the back, makes it look trashy. couple of employees have a messed up attitude, especially a white kinda big guy with red hair, very unprofessional& never says thank you come again....and than they also let anyone just go through the scrap pile & get what they want, ummm...isnt that suppose to be scrap??? I don't recommend this place...never again!! They seem to 4get that without us ppl going& selling our scrap they'd have no buisness!
