At the price I pay and having lived at my residence for three years, I was denied their services over a car tag simply misplaced. I called and waited a whole hour after checking on my sick sister I drove to go see coming home to find someone in my reserved spot. I do not recommend third Coast recovery as it's only convenient for them behind their desk to get paid not to send out anyone to render aid as their services intend and as they left me waiting a whole hour for me to call back and then tell me they couldn't help. I will be seeking new services as well as reporting who denied me. I do not recommend third coast recovery.
Towing people’s car at apartment complex when confronted by car owner. Tow truck Driver asked for payment upfront before he moves tow truck from in front of car and pockets the money.
Very poor customer service... will have no problem towing your car but when you report another vehicle nothing gets done. Hangs up on you mid sentence. Has a lot of attitude when answering the phone and also purposely will let it ring after you called. i wish I could put 0 stars but 1 is the best I could do..
I will say it was my fault for it getting towed. I went to a girls new place to hangout for a but at night and she forgot to mention that yellow spots are reserved. So my car got towed and when I was going to leave I couldn't finde my car and thays where I had to search for what towing service took my car. She didn't know at the time so when I finally figured it this dude on the other side confirmed it was my car and couldn't drop it off or pick me up to be able to pay him. It was an 1 hour and 30 minutes from where I was and he couldn't pickup someone at 3:30am. She took me their and the cost was $204.38 cash and $211.38 card. Way to expensive just to get my car back especially since I just got new tires and the wheels realign. When I woke up in the morning to check on my car he scratched it on the bottom front and a bit on the top grill. Trash service if I could I would sue
Wasn't parked anywhere i shouldn't have been was in the guest parking . Valid registration and insurance. And they still towed my shit. This company just looks for a quick buck
Illegally possessed my car from a private lot without proper signage, employees swore at me, and there is no actual proof they have any form of licensing from the Tx DOT.
I mean.. let’s face reality, they’re a towing company and just like bill collectors, lawyers, debt collectors, etc, - this company probably doesn’t even care if they get down to a 1-Star, because let’s face it.. they’re a tow company and they’re doing their job. They’re not here for the people. If it’s your fault and you get your vehicle towed, just get it out and go on with life because you won’t get a glimpse of a remorse.
They are straight trash and we all should get together with a legal council and put this company out of business. I have witnessed them take mine and other vehicles out of my apartment complex everyday for a year, I had the appropriate stickers registration was current and insurance was valid and they stole my truck anyway and charged me 204.47 to get it back.
If you work at a towing place you are just a cruel person with no compassion or empathy! You took my car seats! How are me and my kids supposed to get to you! After saying “what am I supposed to do walk with my 1 and 2 year old? Then she tells me “well mam we are open 24/7” implying that I could possibly walk with my two kids to go get my car! Poor excuse for people and business!
Woke up to our car towed! Check our cameras come to find out not even 10 mins after coming home from getting my husband from work they came and towed our car because of no perment when ive lived here for 4 years with no porblem. The parking lot was completely empty as well so its not like there are parking problems.
Edit. Come to find out from our office that they havent enforced towing in years so why is this happening after getting our new car.

Follow the rules on private property and you won’t get towed. Park on private property because it’s convenient to you and not pay, then risk getting towed. Theft of service is still theft.
Here’s the facts no emotion: our apartments are contracted with this company, we pay for 2 parking spots, we are up to date with our payments, our tags are all valid, AND STILL THEY TOOK OUR CAR. When I called to figure out what the problem was the lady told me to have my property manager call them to have anything done about it or I would have to just pay the fee. This is unprofessional and completely illegal.
I had the misfortune of having to call these people this evening because someone was parked in my leased parking spot, and this outfit is whose number is on the signs at my apartments. I initially spoke to a lady, who was awesome, but I forgot to ask for an eta. After waiting an hour, I called for an eta. The lady told me she thought it would be half an hour. So, I waited another hour and a half, then called back for an eta and a man answered the phone and started yelling and swearing at me. Like rage yelling. Then he hung up on me. Finally the person that parked in my spot came out and moved her car, so I called back to let them know I no longer needed a tow truck, that the vehicle has been moved, and once again, this guy was a total jerk and hung up on me. I can only assume he was never going to send anyone anyway, based on his behavior, but would’ve hated if somebody came all the way over here for nothing.
Go get actual repos. Yall are picking on residents while they’re asleep for apartment stickers. Go find cars that haven’t been paid or recover cars from accidents and do some real tow work.
This company towed a visiting car from my apartments this morning violating lease agreements with my apartments and refusing to let the car go. They do not pay attention to what their doing they just take peoples cars without any thought as to what their doing.. these company is a joke and full of crooks.. I am taken this to a small claims court..
Unfortunately my vehicle was towed on Saturday the 14th, in the Point parking lot downtown! They charged me 207.00 bucks to get my vehicle out there yard. When I called them they said they had it. I went to there location and the lady was not helpfull what so ever! They are a company that does predatory towing! They scratch my front bumper all up! The lady was rude and would not give any information what so ever! I will be trying to resolve the damages with the owner! I will be contacting them Monday!
Rudest people I’ve dealt with in a long time. The workers are extremely shady and have no compassion. Anybody would be frustrated having their car towed, but they are not professional at all and will give the same energy you give the them instead of trying to calm you down. My boyfriend was busking for three hours and got his car towed. One man that works the night shift was actually cussing at him. While trying to pick up his car, they claimed they didn’t make a record of it. Fortunately, he got his car back but regardless it’s still unprofessional. Really fishy that they are still up and running considering all the illegal activity they have gotten away with. I would not be surprised if this place didn’t have a license to run a business. Third Coast Recovery needs to be investigated.
Illegally towed my truck out of my carport that i pay for. Tex. Occ. Code § 2308.253(d) and (e) specifically say its illegal to tow a vehicle from private property on the basis of expired registration or license plate. They come early when you're asleep to take your vehicle and give absolutely no chance to let you use your legal rights of paying the drop fee. Must be nice to have a profitable scam business
This place literally robs people from their hard earned money. They stole our vehicle on private property, property we pay rent to live at, all because we were a few months behind on our sticker. We had to pay them close to $400 to get our stolen vehicle back from them. Our day was ruined, and we were out of money we intended for groceries and bills. The enemy is a liar!
BEWARE... They targeted cars at an event for minorities. The had cops telling everyone the cars had been stolen. I had time to go home and stop at the gas station and my car still didn't make it to the lot. Whio knows where they go before they bring the car to the lot but stuff was missing from my car. And you know they charged more than their sign says. And those ladies at office are rude and ignorant. I'm sure they are not walking the legal line.
$300 for towing my car & keeping it for less than 2 hours is a little ridiculous when my complex has my car info. What a joke. If there’s any scratches that weren’t already there, you will be hearing my lawyer & I’ll make sure to have my complex paperwork of my info with it.
I should of left this review back when it happened. I too am a victim of senseless, illegal and rude no respect for anyone or anything Third Coast Recovery tow company. They towed my truck from infant of my apartment at 2:30am back in July of 2023. I literally got to their holding yard as they were lowering my truck. The lady at the front is rude and needs treatment for her lack of respect of American people. Cost me $200 to bail my truck out and literally park it in the same spot. Reason for tow........my registration sticker is out. This is illegal for them to tow the vehicle. I filed with the courts against them for the illegal behavior. Still waiting on a court date. It is illegal for them to tow your vehicle with a sticker that's out if A) the vehicle moves so many feet with in 30 days. ( I drive mine everyday). B) they sent a Certified letter to my old address ( I live directly in front of my truck. I didn't change address of residence as of then but was still with in the allotted time of the law to do so. So without receiving a letter and/or a verbal heads up, they came into the night like a worthless thief and stole what wasn't theirs to begin with ( my hard earned money). C)it takes 30 days by law after a sticker is placed on the windshield or side window informing you of a tow coming if its not removed. By law you can remove it from there and place it 11 feet away to stay legal.
After they came thru window peeping ( they walked around looking at folks vehicles a few nights in a row come to find out) and stole about 20 vehicle's from the apartment complex that night, we had a run of theft in vehicle's two weeks earlier. To my surprise mine was broke into ( not really, they took my spare key I had in the glove box when they towed it and used it to breach my vehicle and steal yet again what wasn't theirs). Of course no one had cameras up so we can't prove them to be at fault for the chain of theft but it seems peculiar that for months we had no issues, then after one night of illegal tows we had a plethora of break ins. My key was there before the tow for sure because I had just used it the day before and stored it back where it belongs.
This place is as crooked, backwoods, disrespectful and theft mongering as it comes. The ones who own it should be imprisoned and the ones that work for them should be jailed and then relieved of their license upon checkout of the county jail.
Me mindful, be aware of your surroundings and for the love of God and country protect yourself, loved ones and possessions with what ever force necessary. One day it's not going to be laughs and giggles coming from their side, it will be heart ache and black attire with tears and for no good reason other than protection of one's property

FRUAD ALERT - Stated my car was parked on a property with expired tags. The car hasn't been in the state of Texas in 8 mo and is registered in another state. They claimed this happened Nov. 1 when my tags expired Oct. 31st. Not sure what scam this is but I have notified CCPD. I tried to clarify the situation over the phone but the receptionist Sarah is beyond unprofessional and offer a bad attitude instead of any help. If you need a tow keep looking for an honest legit business instead of them.
This towing company should be closed down ! How dare they to even come onto an apartment complex just to start towing people’s vehicles from their own reserved parking spot in the early morning hours especially when you’re not parked illegally in no one’s spot ?? It’s not by any means a valid tow as the owner wants to say!! I’ve never experienced this kind of mess before !!! I’m legally parked in my reserved spot & the apartment complex knows this & I feel they should have their tenants back & call this towing company & let them no “ She wasn’t parked illegally , she’s in her spot.” Especially when they know what you drive . I wouldn’t recommend this towing company for any services. All they do is go around town towing the innocent ppl vehicles when they should be towing away repos. They are sharks. Will use any and all loop holes to tow a car from a private property. First my sister car didn’t look operational. But when I tell them it runs, then it didn’t have a permit. When I tell them it was in visitor parking it then goes back to not operational. Staff was rude. They can say and do whatever they want apparently. Good job guys for making life harder for people already struggling.
My Apartment Complex contracted them to move my vehicle because they decided they were going to resurface the parking lot without enough advance notice. They damaged my bumper by putting a big gash on it. this was a new bumper that had been replaces at the beginning of the year. Sent them photos never heard back from them, resent them two weeks later and called them and they just refused to acknowledge they had damaged the vehicle, the gentleman I spoke with sounded like he was just waking up. I have filed a complaint with the Texas Department that issues their towing license, just finished submitting the information they requested.
They need to get their heads outta their a$$e$$ and stop trying to tow paid off cars so they can try and resell them if people don't claim them. This place is the biggest scam artist place I've seen so far. They have sharks on their vehicles for reasons prey on the innocent and weak. They tried to take my vehicle when it was parked legally, and what a coincidence that it was a paid off vehicle nope you didn't get my vehicle next time I see them try and take my suv again I'm getting the cops in volved.
No STARS!! It must have been a slow night. This towing company literally, took my car from the guest parking. When I called to inquire a justification, I was repeatedly hung up on. These cars in my pictures aren’t being towed. They are selective as to who and from where they tow! When I asked for help from the property. The assistant manager boasted she enforced that rule?! I bet they are receiving kick backs for every tow. Very SHADY business!! BEWARE OF THESE VULTURES
