Owner was very rude. I’ve been doing mechanics for years, so I know what I’m talking about and what I need as I’m trying to explain to him what I need. He gets mad and tells me to get out and that he’s gonna tend to his other customers because my part is too difficult. If I could rate this a no star I would ,making a 30 minute drive to be told that is ridiculous. I’ve never wrote a review on any stores this guy was HORRIBLE lmaoo if you don’t know your parts it’s okay buddy hope your buisness gets slower the more rude you are god bless!
Do NOT recommend this place. The guy was super rude to my husband who only speaks Spanish.. Didn’t do anything to fix our AC. Just put a bunch of freon. Which charges me 170 and said he changed a part which he didn’t. Ended up having to pay a lot more money somewhere else. He is just very rude and just wants money. DO NOT GO HERE !
Had a special ordered part, when I tried to get a refund or exchange, Mr Montoya refused and said that it wasn't his problem, im now stuck with 300$ parts i have no use for. Would not recommend even to my worst enemy

Went to buy a blower Resistor for my a/c. I asked if I could pay cash and card, his response was it not that much sir. My response was would you rather I buy it elsewhere. Oh no sir. Never going back.
I’ve been here several times and have gotten great service. The parts I needed to help fix my ac on my car were installed and my ac is working great. Highly recommend great prices and very knowledgeable.
My husband collects old cars and he was able to find parts for his '50 Chevy...the only auto parts store I know that carries old parts...definitely giving them my business.
The owner talks ugly to women and has a very awful attitude. Gave my brother the wrong part twice. My brother finally gave up and just asked for a refund and the owner was very rude and said no. If you notice, there are a lot of reviews of people receiving the wrong part and not getting a refund. Seems kind of fishy….
Do not shop here, this man will intentionally give you the wrong parts and take your money without any intention of refunding your money. He said as long as the the part has not been used or installed he will refund or exchange but when the time comes he will not. My mother went to return part for me because I was at at work and he berated her talking very ugly saying "why don't you teach your son to be a man" for no reason

Called to find a ring gear and was told to bring part in to count teeth. I called back with the tooth count and was told they already told me to bring it in so they could count and now they don't want my business. Very rude. Total POS running the phones in that place.
Mr Arnold is a bit eccentric!!! Because my battery is in the front fender well, the loose negative terminal was never checked. Many tows later I'm told to go somewhere else. I'm glad Because the real issue was addressed. Just a loose terminal. It's really sad because I've taken all my vehicles here for the last 5 years. No more.
Never heard of an auto parts store that doesn’t give refunds for parts sold from their store…. Bought several items including an air filter from this store and was sold the wrong air filter so I tried returning but was told that they don’t give refunds even thought they sold me the wrong part avoid this place at all costs bad customer service
Sold us an alternator for a 2018 Ford F150, first off it was a rebuilt and cost the price of a new one. With a 2 year warranty. The kicker was that the new one was locked up right out of the box. They told me that they put a plastic bushing inside that's made to break loose after the first start up! Come on, after 35 years of wrenching I've never seen an alternator that won't turn. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else!
10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. The owner thinks that it is suffice that a handwritten paper that says No Refund is legit. I'd be ok with a No Refund policy if he had multiple signs and verbally tell you all purchases are final. But, no there's no doubt that one hand written sign is on purpose. The owner thinks it is ok to start disrespectfully talking to you. Very lucky his a$$ wasn't whooped. However, his receipts need to have no Refund on it and they don't. Luckily for him $200 isn't worth taking him to court over.
If I could give this place a zero star review I would. I ordered new wheel hubs for my daughter’s 2014 Ford Fusion which was $292 and when the mechanic pulled the old wheel hubs off he informed us that the hubs that were given to us was for a Ford Focus. This happened on a Sunday which Nueces Auto Parts was closed. We ended up purchasing the correct ones from O’Reillys. My husband went back Monday to return the parts and he refused to give us the money back for the WRONG parts that THEY ordered. My husband argued with him and he finally agreed to give him partial return and charging us a $90 restock fee. This man was completely rude and was cussing at my husband. Very unprofessional and I will NEVER purchase from them again.
Bought a part, 2hr later come to find out didn't need it after all. Tried to return it part had not been touched or removed from box. Man was rude and would not refund. Yes I understand their right if the item was taken out of bag and box, but it hadn't. Never buy from them again.
My mother called to get a price on a part and was very rudely told that someone else already asked about the same part, and they don't repeat prices. I guess there is only one 2011 Impala in corpus. I used to spend $1000+ a month on parts here,not anymore. I wonder how much longer they'll be in business with customer service like this.
the owner and the people that work there are extremely rude I was completely disrespected when I was trying to talk to anyone when I try to talk to mechanic he said he could not talk to me.they told me my car was a piece of junk why do I want to put money into it and that's the only car I have I can't believe that the owner said that to me!!! I will not be going back there again.and none of the people that I know are going there either.

Idk whose grandpa was at the counter, but the old man didn't take his happy pills or is simply a bitter misogynist. Went in there to purchase a car part for my mom and as we where making the questions to assure we had the correct part or if we needed any extra things, he straight up closed the box in out faces and said he would not sell us the part because he doesn't like people making questions. I'll pay the extra $50 at AutoZone any dam day, but my family and I will certainly never go near this place again.

Got a good price on the part. It was the correct part so that was good. Problem was I was in a really good mood when I showed up there but the employee that worked with me has such a bad attitude that I left feeling like I had really been disrespected and I wasn't happy. Not sure if I will buy my car parts there again.

My husband went in there today to buy a part and when he asked the owner if the part didn’t fit if they could return it, the owner became irate and rude and started yelling at my husband and his friend. He kept saying he had been offended because they asked if they could return a part. It was a part my husband needed for his truck and he told him he didn’t mean to disrespect him but just wanted to know if he could return it if it wasn’t the right part. The owner at that time refused to sell him the part and kept yelling at my husband and his friend. They ended up leaving because the owner was rude and disrespectful. I wouldn’t recommend going there to purchase anything from him!!!
I have three vehicles and all three get repaired there. Arnold does a fine job on the repairs and is very inexpensive on his labor costs. The RTA goes right by his shop and very close to my house. If the repair on one of my vehicles requires very much time I catch the bus home. It takes about twenty minutes either way on the bus for ten cents. Very pleased with Nueces Auto .
Probably the best place for auto repair in Corpus Christi. Great service, even better prices. They have their own auto parts warehouse so you don't pay the exorbitant prices you would at a chain auto store.
Get a quote somewhere else and then at Nueces Auto. You've got nothing to lose. You'll be impressed.
