My wife and I came here to enjoy the location in walking distance from shopping. However, the entire experience was ruined by how bad this hotel has been. First, we weren't told it would be under construction and the rates we got do not reflect that. They are renovating the entire 3rd and 4th floors and you can hear the drilling and grinding all the way to the first floor (we already moved once from the 2nd floor to the first floor to try and make it better). Second, we didn't realize the "breakfast" in the lobby area was an additional charge; the self-serve scrambled eggs were dry and inedible and there was no selection and the total price for two people was something like $40+! There was no hair dryer in the room, and the Internet went out at a critical moment when I needed to get some emails done. Just a bad overall experience, not reflective of the brand at all.

Love this hotel been here for 6 weeks. And we just closed on our house so this will be our last week but thank you Hilton and the staff y’all are amazing. Christmas parties near by and decorations of holidays great middle place for everything

Not a bad place to stay. Clean as you would expect a Hilton property to be. The ice machine on the 4th floor did not work and I don't believe in having to pay $15.00 per night for the right to park my car on the property. I hate hidden BS fees and this is one of them.

Outdated hotel, Horrible Management and Customer Service. I would never stay at this hotel again and will not send any of my coworkers from out of town to this location again. Hilton has lost a customer.

Rooms are outdated. No USB power outlets and carpets are worn and dis-colored. Wifi seems to never work here for past month and half but the hardline works fine though. Brrakfast service is the only saving grace.

I have been trying reach someone to answer a question on an existing reservation and I have been bounced around so many times and given a number and hit the option and it rings two or three times and just hangs up... I have tried 800 numbers and was on hold for ever and then it sounded like someone picked up and then hung up..... Tried asking for a manager and it seems they don't have the capibility to transfer you to speak to a manager... THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!!

Never had such a bad experience staying at a Hilton there were multiple stains on the bed but I did not want to give housekeeping a hard time. The main reason my stay was unacceptable was the fire alarm going off one morning very early causing my elderly mother and I to jump out of bed and try our best to get down 4 flights of stairs. After we evacuated I tried making contact with front desk to confirm it was safe to return to the room and got no response through the app or by calling front desk until I had to go back inside the building myself where the young front desk agent (female) was standing on her phone and was of no help claimed chat in the app was down and for some reason did not hear any of my 5 calls the way the situation was handled was very concerning employees should be better trained for these types of things I got no apologies or anything I’m highly disappointed and do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The breakfast buffet was cold and not varied in selection and extremely overpriced. Parking was $15.00 a night which is ridiculous.

Our stay was awful, stayed there for the location since we had a concert at the pavilion, but the Wifi didnt work staff just said "we are working on it"... I mean 3 days and no solution? The lock on the door didnt work well... the safe didnt work and even if it did it was tiny with a key...front desk said we will check it in the morning... and no one came they have a great location and it looks nice from the outside but for the price per night they charge the hotel should be way better

Great location, good price, and solid breakfast. Rooms were fine, felt a little dated and hot water didn't work one day. All things considered I'd come back again next time I'm in town.

It was great staying here. The location is great since there is a lot of things around, i wish they had a shuttle to the airport.

The hotel is convenient and decent. I like the daily maid service that I don’t see often these days. However, the hotel has issues. I never got hot water, and the WIFI was out. Additionally, Erik at the bar needs to understand that Old Fashioneds don’t have muddled cherries- that is a preference, but not typical or correct. The location is perfect but I will look for another Hilton on my next visit to the Woodlands.

Had a great few nights stay here, and the team have been brilliant, nothing too much.
Rakesh has been brilliant, just wish all Hilton hotels had a Rakesh, then all hotels would get a 5 * review.
Next time in Woodlands, will be staying here.Sep 09, 2025 -
Don’t expect Hilton quality- but do expect a high price (especially if there is an event). The room I stayed in was HEAVILY moldy, if you are sensitive to it I would recommend against pressing through. When I brought it to the front desk attention they didn’t have available rooms and only offered a free breakfast, they would not give a discount. There were several indicators of needing maintenance (ex tiles broken/water damage).

Everything was great, and I would stay here again. It was within walking distance to the pavilion, which is why I booked here. The only reason they didn’t get 5-stars is due to dishonesty. I thought we were past the days of hidden fees and bait switching. Nowhere during booking was I informed that I’d have to pay $16 for parking upon arrival. I even called to ask what the deposit was, and the person who answered the phone said $50, but said nothing about the parking fee. I’m sure that whoever manages this is just gonna read it and apologize, and then turn around and continue screwing people over. I understand charging a parking fee, but $16.44 is nuts, and you gotta tell people ahead of time.

A good experience. Very clean rooms.
I just don’t understand why they charge guest for the parking lot.
The hotel was having internet connectivity issues but the staff was very kind and patience trying to fix it.Jun 14, 2025 -
I’d say average with the cleanliness.
The chk in /out was friendly/ quick/easy.
Breakfast was charged. That was a downfall for us.
Visiting our daughter/ granddaughter close by. Conveniently close to eateries shopping, walking parks, hospitals are close. Outside sitting area was nice. Beautiful landscaping.
The rooms are quiet. Beds very comfortable . Moldy smelling in the room. I realize it’s Texas.
Overall you get a decent place to stay. Thank youJun 11, 2025 -
Excellent service from hotel staff. Special thanks to Veronica and cheff Fernando Huerta for their kind attention during our staying at the hotel. I am attaching a picture from the delicious pancakes prepared by the chef. I strongly recommend this hotel and hopefully I can return back soon.

No complaints , coming in they received us well. Gave us a little welcome bag with cookies we booked this room ahead time for a decent price. The area where this hotel is at is very central from a couple stores and restaurants worth staying here. Rooms were okay came with shampoo conditioner and lotion in the rooms . Room service came in everyday and fixed our beds when we weren’t there which was very nice . We didn’t get to try the breakfast but they did have free coffee every morning ! I will be booking in this same location next year again

Comfy beds. Great shower. View of the pool. Friendly staff! Elema was very friendly and extremely helpful in telling me about the area. I was in town for a show and easily walked from my hotel to Cynthia Woods Pavilion. Close to the mall. I highly recommend it!

CAUTION: When Booking. The two companies below are only out to take advantage of customers and steal your money.
I went to the HILTON GARDEN INN Website to book 3 rooms for 2 nights. Did not realize I was redirected to PRICE LINE for the reservations.
I made the reservations, charged my card and upon receiving my confirmation...noticed I had put the wrong date. I didn't hit the 0 hard enough. So my reservation was booked on the WRONG date. With in less than 15 minutes of making this reservation I called the hotel HILTON GARDEN @ Conroe to change the check in date. They said they are not be able to do anything about it since it was booked with Price Line. They could not change the date.
I called PRICE LINE- same BS. They said they could not change the date or issue a refund. I did not want a refund...just to change to correct date. Price Lines policy states nothing about changing dates...only states no refund for no shows or cancelations!
I asked to talk to a supervisor and was put on hold for hours. I was told that all supervisors are handling other escalated calls and with in 72 hours some one would call me back.
At this rate, my reservation will be a no show...and that's exactly what happen.
When I did finally talk to a supervisor he showed no interest to help my situation since the date questioned had passed.
At this point nether the HGI or Price Line want to help with the $675.00 I spent. Neither business will change the date accommodate my error. Yes I made a typo...but with in less that 15 minutes tried to correct it.
I emailed the General Manager at HGI- Katie Sauer. I was practically begging for her help. I suggested to use just a portion of the money they received to go towards more rooms or a upgrade to a suite.
It is vey unfortunate that her response was quick and short no - not willing to accommodate me in any way.
That's poor business on both these companies. Very Greedy!
This was an expensive lesson for me. The GM at HGI could care less about customer loyalty. Our group has stayed with that location for over 5 years. We book up to 10 rooms every year at this time. NEVER AGAIN!!Apr 08, 2025 -
The price was reasonable for what you get. The restaurant area was small, but it had a nice bar if you drink. I didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it is nice when the weather is warm. The check-in was very smooth. The staff was welcoming. Make sure you mention that you are a reward member if you didn't book directly through Hilton, so you can get your welcome bag. I would stay there again if I had to.

I stayed here recently for 2 nights. Overall, its a nice hotel with plenty of amenities and a great location. There were some things though that were disappointing:
1. They still have 10+ year old smallish TVs in the rooms with no streaming service functionality - just cable. For a chain like this with this pricepoint, they should have better tech.
2. My comforter was not properly washed as there were some long hairs on it. Also a dirty washcloth.
3. The breakfast was $18 and the value was definitely not there.Mar 24, 2025 -
For the most part it was a decent stay. A few things that were sub standard for me was our room didn't have the shears on the windows (we booked several rooms). There were no instructions for the safe & the front desk staff did not know how to lock it. The furniture was hard & uncomfortable. The towels were like sandpaper. One reason we booked here was because the website stated there was a restaurant there. However we were told the chef quit so the restaurant was closed. Overall the stay was decent despite a few inconveniences.

Stay somewhere else. This place is old and run down. Room smelled. Breakfast was very limited. Needs to be closed down for a renovation. Plenty of better Hilton options nearby.
Let’s talk about parking. Talk about being dishonest. Says free parking on the app when you reserve. When you look at the reservation details it says complimentary parking. Then you get the folio at the end and they charge 15/night. Asked the front desk about it and they said they just started charging this month (January 2025), and they are trying to update the hotel information. How long does it take for Hilton to update reservation information so you know there will be a parking charge? Honestly, you should not charge for parking until it’s updated in the reservation system. Period.
The only positive thing about this place is location.Jan 20, 2025 -
Hotel itself is decent. What you would expect, however the charges were not.
I called ahead of time to check price and availability for a 2 bed, with pets.
She told me 160 + 75 for pets. A bit high on the pet, but fine, we book.
We show up ready to check in & the price is now $316!!!
Unbeknownst to us we are now also paying
$50 deposit
& $15 parking! So you can’t even park at your own hotel.
At this point we’re already here and had no other plan, so it is what it is.
Morning comes and we go down for breakfast. We get our plates, sit down and my husband notices a sign that said $18 each for breakfast!
So breakfast also is NOT included.
You’re telling me Hilton is the only hotel that can’t include parking and breakfast!?
Wild. And of course they don’t tell you any of this up front.Nov 24, 2024 -
I have been a Hilton honors member for years and their hotels were always my go to when traveling. This place is extremely over priced for the quality of the rooms. First off, there is a $16 a day parking fee, which doesn’t really make sense due to it’s location and lack of roving guard. Secondly, the rooms are outdated and walls are paper thin, which make it impossible to sleep! The shower ran for over 30 mins and only got slightly warm. I ended up cutting my two night reservation short and will be spending my second night in a Marriott! I recommend that that people should look at other options when in the woodlands area.

Great location. In the middle of a lot but hidden.
Greated. Service was outstanding. Couldn't have asked for anything better. The young woman working the desk at night. She needs a raise for her outstanding customer service skills.
Rooms. They we just ok. Cleanliness could have been better. The tub at the bottom looks brown. Could just be old. They are smaller than I'm use to ( the rooms). The water pressure was a major issue for our stay. It's like I begged for the water to come out faster during my shower. The toilet flushed slowly. My carpet was ripped.
For the amount paid. I believe breakfast should be included, buts is $18.99 for breakfast.
Pool area is nice and clean.
The friendliness definitely makes you overlook a lot. I would stay again based on service and location.Sep 08, 2024 -
Where to begin, the good was the beds were comfy and the room was ok sized but not what you’d expect from a Hilton in this price point. The bad, they don’t provide toilet papered, water pressure means rinsing your hair is impossible. It trickles at best. The toilet screams when flushed. It’s old and the walls are thin. If guests are loud you won’t sleep. The elevator is slow. Parking is extra and so is the standard free breakfast you would get at a lower end hotel. This place is nothing special. Save money and stay at a another chain hotel. I can say Holiday Inn or even the low end stuff like Red Roof would offer the same amenities for less. I’m sad I used to love Hilton but this hotel is a dump.

For as much as this place cost, I would imagine the room would be a bit nicer. The curtains were torn and ratty looking. I booked a room with queen size beds and I'm pretty sure, they were full size instead. Not a big deal about the beds. Just needed somewhere to shower and sleep. No safe in the room. And no breakfast included. For the price, at least offer some cereal and bagels or something. I wasn't aware we had to pay for parking before we arrived. I wasn't even sure if we were going to find parking. We had to wait for someone to leave. If you're going to charge for parking, there should be adequate room to park. It wasn't late when we arrived, maybe about 4 pm or so, so I expected some parking. Not a bad place to stay, but nothing to write home about. Next time I'm staying in the woodlands, I will be finding another place to stay.
