It gets 2 stars for being big and clean but the people are rude and there times sucks. You have to be there 15-20 mins be closing time or they wont help you and tell you they are closed
Staff is great and facilities are clean, clean, clean. You don't run over metal or any items when bringing a trailer. I have taken my cans there for several years now. Most convenient set up for it that I have seen
Helped me out in a nylon bind to get rid of about thirty plus pounds of empty beer cans after a huge crawfish boil for the past few weeks & stayed open after normal business hours, so definitely great folks here! Highly recommend.
Experience was really easy. Employee was friendly, informative and helpful. He even helped me unload my metal from my trunk, as I was struggling with. The entire process from weighting in to cashing out was less than 10 minutes.
We have been going to to texas port since they opened but as of today we are through! Have cleaning up our mom and dad's place and been making a few trips to scrap the old metal and today they classified our load of scrap differently than a couple of days ago which was all pretty much the same stuff. Their change in classification took the price from $8.60 to $6.25 which is a pretty big difference in price on 4,900 lbs. I did question and the answer still isn't clear. They said thickness of the pipe which it was cut up old fence railings nothing thick and definitely not thicker than anything else we had brought in. So in my opinion they just stole from hard working retired people and makes me wonder how many other people have had this happen to them. With pricing am materials today I'm still not understanding how the scrap prices are this low to start with but for a company to not be consistant in classifications isn't right. We lost over $100 on this one load. We will not use this company in the future or ever refer them again unless they make this right. Anyone else that uses this company to scrap items should maybe reconsider and use someone else that is honest with pricing. I'm very disappointed and upset to feel taken advantage of. After all these years and I know we are only one couple but right is right and wrong is wrong and in my opinion this was most definitely wrong.

Well it isn't that I am ot was confused! It would have been different if we hadn't brought in almost the exact load last week and it actually had some bigger and thicker stuff amd they did not classify it as unprepared. We have brought alot of scrap to your company and we haven't agreed a few times about price but to classify the loads to take that big of a loss isn't right. Years ago they used to tell us before we go to the back how the list the load,but that hasn't happened in years. But the main thing is that with loads almost the same and more than a $2 difference per 100 the stuff was not any think material but the pipe was pretty thin because my husband cut it to fit the trailer. Wasn't the same person on the loads end of last week and today. So basically I'm not confused by anything we have been loyal customers and everyone should classify loads in the same manner. The loss was just too much this time. Also the gentlemen that did classify it told me about the thickness not length. Anyways appreciate your response but I'm sorry i just can't accept such a difference and really different explanation that isn't lining up completely with previous loads history and the gentlemen that tried to explain something that isn't what was on the load. Disappointed in the loss of what we thought was mostly fair dealing business. The past differences was extremely minor compared to this incident. I still want to make other people aware to ask questions before unloading. It's a shame we have lots more to scrap and will have to do business elsewhere. I know we are just one couple and yall probably wont miss our business and probably dont care that we wont be back. Like I said it's a shame! Have a good day
Every time I’ve been here they’ve been extremely helpful and friendly. The prices they pay are fair and in line with what is typical. It’s also clean and very professional.
This was my first visit there. Antoine, Shane, and Vanessa were so very helpful, courteous, and friendly. An easy process, the staff made it even easier. And it's nice to get some money for your recyclables. I highly recommend it!
