Amazing place good staff good prices if you go on Saturday 8 AM to 12. It’s very busy I recommend going early. If your gonna be waiting in line to get your check for an hour? On Saturdays very busy they close at 12 PM on Saturday
Great place to go Only thing is lady in the back that helps unload is kind of rude but It's OK I'm sure she deals with a lot of unsatisfactory people If I ever need to recycle anything I will be going to recycle midland
Been coming here for awhile but recently
Have been getting screwed on the weight, the scale seems to cap at 7600 on the dot for me weighing 2400 total on both tickets when I know my second load was way more weight at least 300 pounds more and all they said was that the scales are calibrated every 3 months and that the reason is because short iron was at 140 before and now it’s at 130 but that has nothing to do with the weight, I recommend you take your short iron somewhere else
This place is great. Fast and friendly. The offload process is quick and easy. Randy is very helpful and courteous.Why go anywhere else. All aces here!!
The girl at the window was very polite and fast. Guys in back took care of me as soon as i drove in, so about 15 min total in and out. Great prices, scales were right on and no flat tires! 5 stars all the way.
Been going here for over 20 years, I took copper inside
and the scales said 1600+ pounds and the green dumpster was spray painted that it was 655 pounds, meaning my copper weighed 1000 pounds, they gave me 300 pounds?!

Gross weight 1000 pounds (total)
Tare weight 665 pounds (dumpster)
Net weight 300?!? (What I brought)
I saw the numbers on the scale and it clearly said 1600+ pounds. Where do u get 300 pounds total weight from? Weight and measure department need to do an inspection on the scale/computer in the warehouse.

Very easy and fair. I bring a lot of small aluminum and they are quick to unload. Everything is sorted nicely and I’ve never had anything in my tires after my visits. They’ll have my business.
Always fast and professional service from start to finish. Elizabeth noticed my DL was about to expire while cashing out my ticket. That’s above and beyond and I’m extremely grateful for her helping me avoid a major issue. I was able to renew it right there.
There a good place to do business with a helpful friendly staff that has been there working together for about 5 yrs that I know of with the best prices in midland most of the time. I've been doing business here for the last 3 yrs pretty much full time going about 2-5 times per week for the most part and there consistently on point. Highly recommend doing business here if you've never been before there the place to go.
For the past couple of drop offs, I’ve had issues with the young man that checks your scrap after weigh-in. Always wants to start drama for no reason whatsoever. Taking my business elsewhere.
This place is a joke !! You take long iron in and they want to give you short iron price !! WTH
They won’t do anything to help you unload.. literally will stand there and watch you unload.. the young punks that work there need there attitudes adjusted, hell so does management.. you can’t report them to the better business bureau even .. better off going to Odessa then this place !!
Very busy morning when I arrived. Usually a pleasant in and out with no issues. The lady working in the drop off area was extremely rude today. Otherwise it was good.
Don't go here they cheat you out of your money!!!!!!!! They say that all iron is #2 unless it is iron beams!!! They cheated is out of $50.00. The people were rude, and get this WE HAD TO UNLOAD OUR IRON OURSELF!!!!!
Went to sell scrap on a Saturday and went to them since they were ope an hour later than everyone else, even have a sign on the gate that says open till 12 on Saturday but they closed an hour early so basically made a trip for nothing because of their false information
They pay very good prices. A lot faster and more convenient than Commercial Metals we don’t have to wait two hours to get unloaded. Great staff and manager.
Their prices are better than the other one's that I've been too, so they're competitive right now, especially during these times. Sure their yard isn't all that great, but what scrap yard is?! There's a lot of movement through there with their competitive prices. They'll get you in and out in a jiffy. They have every time I've been in there. Good staff. And I come from odessa. Definitely worth the trip
Positive experience and a good way to make a few dollars while minimizing your landfill impact .. they accept all types of metals from aluminum cans to scrap, as well as batteries, motors and circuit boards .. in the past I've just "donated" small amounts of steel / tin scrap metal to the piles rather then weighing and waiting for a few dollars, but aluminum and copper will buy your dinner .. drive inside to sort and weigh valuable metals, or, weigh your vehicle and pull up to the shack to drop steel /tin
They think every load you bring is "tin". I gave some pretty quality scrap to my kid and his friend to make some money this summer. They paid tin price even when asked about all the stainless in trailer. That is bad to cheat some kids...
Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. Rude people who give you NO direction on what to do. Full of thick mud with no clear way in or out. This junkyard is a real piece of trash, pun intended.
I appreciate the service that I get there and I have never had bad service, yet I do you believe that the service has improved. I most certainly appreciate the video surveillance they have on site now, keeps everybody honest
I've had great customer service, but this website has incorrect hours posted. They're open until 5pm on weekdays & noon on Saturday. Everyone is friendly & helpful.
