Midland Towing & Recovery was there ... on New Year’s Day ... to help us when our car had a flat tire after hitting a pothole on Hwy 137 on our way to Midland. Scotty, the calmest, patient and really awesome tow truck driver, picked us up off 2401 (at Robin’s Market & Cafe ... great burritos as I’m told) where we were parked awaiting his arrival. He safely loaded our car onto his truck bed and delivered us to our hotel — 49miles away. He dropped our car perfectly into an outer hotel parking lot like a pro. The long ride to the hotel was a pleasant and insightful ride as Scotty told us some Midland town history to pass the time. I would definitely call on them first for they are one of the only 24hr towing services that will go beyond Midland borders to help someone in need. Call them first. You will be glad you did. We sure are.

Terry was very professional and fast. His ETA was 45 minutes and he showed up in less than 10 minutes. Very informative and such a good attitude. Took care of us quickly and didn’t miss a beat. Would definitely use them again! He was very careful loading the car since it was really low and he did everything to get it strapped on safely and carefully at the same time! Would definitely recommend!

Midland Towing was contacted by my extended warranty to pick up my vehicle at 3:30 pm . Thankfully I was able to contact someone to come get my child and $700 worth of groceries that were in the back seat . At 6 PM I received a text saying that someone would be sent to pick up my truck within 2 hours . At 9:30 PM I called Midland Towing myself and was advised by the dispatcher that they had not received any orders for my vehicle ! I then contacted Ethos , my extended warranty company and they contacted Midland Towing . Midland Towing advised that there had been a severe storm in the area and that they were overwhelmed with calls and that my order had basically just been pushed aside and forgotten about. We had only experienced a minor rain shower !!! They then offered to send a driver to tow my vehicle but he wouldn’t be there until 1 AM . That is not acceptable . I explained that I would not be be sitting there waiting for them all night because I had already done so for the whole day . They were asking me to put myself in an unsafe situation !. I advised that they could have someone pick up the vehicle in the morning at a reasonable hour . I have children that cant be left alone at night . They did have a driver show up shortly after 8 am the next morning but I would never use them or recommend them to anyone again . No one at Midland Towing took responsibility for their lack of professionalism . Not once did anyone besides the driver contact me and not once did anyone apologize for anything that happened !

This place is awesome! After attempting to get my car towed 3 different times from different companies, this one followed through. Rick was professional and very kind to my car. My car has computer problems (I think) but will not start, all warning lights are on and will not shift to neutral. I need it to go to the dealership. Rick called when he was running late from the initial time estimate and was very courteous. When he did arrive he had the car loaded in a matter of minutes and I felt that my car was in good hands.

He arrived before the service said he would be there and gave me a call when he dropped off my truck at the dealership. He even called me back to tell me it started when he dropped it at the dealer!! They are not open 24hrs. I had my car towed to their Midland lot after an accident. The insurance company decided to total the car and so I went to the lot to get my remaining things out. I was told I could come by anytime and they are open 24 hours this is also what is posted. Well that is not the case there was no one here I called and they said I had to wait on the nearest driver who was at least 40 minutes away. ***Updated - it is now 2 hrs later and still no one has come. The 24 hrs is not true. I drove 2.5 hrs here and still have another 2.5 hrs to go back.

they blackmailed us. firstly when we called them they gave us cheaper quote and when they were towing, they asked for more money with different excuses. It was 700 dollars at the beginning and at the end they charged us $1800. TOATAL SCAM!

Semi truck and trailer were stuck in mud they couldn’t take out, didn’t even attempt to but did try to charge an outrageous fee. They brought it down but was still high to not have done anything. I called another local company and they took Action right away and got semi and trailer out quickly.

I needed my car towed, I called my roadside assistance, and they said it would be an hour before they could get to me, Rick called about 5 minutes later and said he was 15 minutes away, showed up right on time. Im always skeptical of tow companies, my car has a deep sentimental value to me and I don't trust it just anybody. Great guy, I lead the way in another vehicle, and he was safer than me, and that speaks volumes because I drive very very safely. Smiling, professional all around great guy! I felt my car was more than safe in his hands. I forgot his name, so I called and spoke with the receptionist who was also a delight as well. If you need a tow, call these guys. I had my key fob stolen out of my car and insurance had sent over another towing company this guy didn’t even get out of the truck to try and help resolve the issue. Car was parked in the garage with a small narrow ally so tow truck couldn’t get the car on bed. Midland towing came to the rescue not only did the company come faster than 2 hours they came in 15 mins exact, the guy actually got out of his truck and found a hidden neutral to move the car to load it up. Awesome company they also have a sticker on the truck that said Jesus is in charge which is always a good sign! Highly recommend them!!

Scottie and Rick were very helpful. My mustang was on top of a telephone and Scottie was nice enough to give me option on if I wanted to get another truck to lift it up or risk messing up anything underneath. I choose to get another truck and Rick was able to lift it off with minimum damage and as little time as possible very good employees.

Tow operator was very professional. He knew exactly what he had to do to lift my vehicle and gwt it towed back to my location properly. Very friendly. Told me everything he was doing. Got my vehicle back to my location no problems. He was the heavy haul tow driver. Can't remember his name sorry. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a tow.

They sent a motorcycle rider to pickup my Harley after the starter had failed. He knew exactly how to load and tie it down. I had no way home after we dropped the cycle off at the repair shop. Guess what he was gracious enough to take me home. I’m thinking 5 stars for these cats. Also they work with AAA of Texas.
