I drove two hours to Woodway Car Center in Waco for a 2023 Audi Q7 they claimed had 40,000 miles. Surprise! It actually had 46,000 miles and only one key, none of which they disclosed. Safe to say, I won’t be recommending them to anyone!
Never fall for this Bait-and-switch operation.
Coming on here to share my experience as an out of state customer that was interested in purchasing. Was looking into purchasing a Supra they had listed and put an $1,000 deposit down before flying in. I flew in and they were nice enough to pick me up from the airport, test drove it, and gave me time to talk the car over to family members and friends. My friends/family could tell that i wasnt to thrilled with what i seen in person based on how i sounded. As a buyer, atleast me i'm going to look the car over with a fine tooth comb and really make sure this is what i want. From online in videos/pictures the car looked immaculate, but in reality it had missing panels in the trunk, rock chips on the bumper/headlights/and hood, trunk lining had to be reglued, wires showing. Things when purchasing a vehicle that you definitely dont wanna see or hear especially after flying into state to purchase it.
I sat down and told Damon that if im going to spend that money, i want it to look just as immaculate, and pretty much walked away from the car and losing out on my deposit/money spent on travel so close to $2,000. Walked away and had to uber myself back to the airport. Tamera was very nice, just wish the right stuff asked for would of been provided, all of this would had been prevented.
When asking about imperfections on a vehicle it should a stand still picture and not a video.
Dishonest and Misleading Experience at Woodway Car Center (9900 Woodway Drive, Woodway, TX)
My son had a very disappointing experience with Woodway Car Center while trying to purchase a 2020 Toyota Supra. He spoke directly with the manager, Damon, who repeatedly described the car as being in “excellent” and “near-perfect” condition. My son lives in North Carolina and, based on those assurances and some selective video footage (but no close-up photos), he put down a $1,000 deposit on a Monday to hold the car.
Before sending the deposit, he specifically asked if the vehicle had any paint flaws, rock chips, or dings. He was told there were none. Despite requesting close-up images, none were provided.
He spent $800 flying to Texas to see the car in person and arrived Wednesday morning — just two days later. What he found was not what was represented: the car had noticeable rock chips across the front, visible wires hanging out, and multiple trim pieces missing. None of this was disclosed beforehand, and none of it appeared in the images or videos shared.
Because of the condition of the vehicle — which was clearly not “near perfect” — he declined to go through with the purchase. Damon then informed him that the $1,000 deposit would not be refunded because they had held the car “too long.” Two days, for an out-of-state buyer, is not excessive by any fair standard.
This experience cost my son $1,800 between the non-refundable deposit and travel, and it stemmed from what we believe was a clear misrepresentation of the vehicle’s condition.
We are sharing this in good faith based on a real experience so others — especially those buying from out of state — can make informed decisions. We were later threatened with legal action if this review wasn’t removed. In our opinion, honest feedback shouldn’t be silenced.
Buy with caution. In our view, this dealership was not transparent, and the information provided ahead of time was misleading
Definitely cannot thank the team here enough! Especially the owner Tamera! Made it easy to do the whole process over the phone and email since I was a hour away from the dealership. Bank was being a pain but they helped and stuck it out with me till the application process was done! Got to drive off with a better more reliable car for me and my babies :) can’t thank them enough!
My son has been looking for his dream truck and we finally found it here. The big dealers had one truck with 2WD and cheaper model. He was able to get the full loaded truck and saved almost $7k.

I bought a 2020 jeep Cherokee drove for a week the owner picked it.up they.put a fuse.. said it was fixed drove it to funeral in Oklahoma it die.again by now I'm really upset tow it back took it to Allan SAMUEL ITS STILL THERE!! haven't heard anything from.Woodway car.center..2 months later this is really messed up..
I was in the market for a reliable and well-maintained used truck, and Woodway Car Center presented me with an incredible deal on a 2013 Honda Ridgeline. In addition to the hassle-free buying process and the quality of the vehicle, the deal I received was unbeatable. It's common to worry about overpaying when purchasing a used vehicle, but Woodway Car Center offered transparency, honesty, and fairness in their pricing, which instilled a great deal of confidence in my decision to purchase from them.
I don't foresee myself needing another vehicle for some time but if I did I'd definitely consider Woodway Car Center.
I would not recommend going with them. The website says “Your job is your credit, and we can get you approved for an auto loan with no problem, even with a bad credit score!” Which is a lie. I was not approved even with a high downpayment which I could’ve done more if they would’ve asked for a vehicle under 20k. I make just above 46k a year with bad credit and they got me disapproved with no problems and a good co signer. I was looking forward on being a loyal customer with them.
Went in there to look at a really clean truck they had parked on the lot, and happen to notice a GT Mustang being detailed off to the side. I inquired about the car, and found out it hadn’t been listed yet. I ended up taking the car on a test drive and fell in love with it. Kevin was super patient with all my questions, and Damon made the buying process a breeze! I bought a car I love at a GREAT price! Thanks again guys!
Arian Vlam helped us and was incredibly kind! He was straightforward and honest, while other salesmen can give you the run-around. We drove an hour and 35 minutes to make it to this dealership and it was absolutely worth it. He was incredibly respectful to me and also included me in the discussion, even though it was my boyfriend who was making the purchase. Some people can ignore the person accompanying the buyer, but he was an absolute gentleman!
My experience with Woodway Car Center was the best. From viewing their excellent website to look at the inventory, until the time we drove my Toyota Tacoma off the lot, I was extremely pleased. All the guys are professional, friendly and really know their inventory. I would totally recommend Woodway Car Center to anyone looking to buy a used vehicle.

We recently needed an additional car and returned to Woodway Car Center to work with Paul. On a hot summer's day, he and his staff were so thoughtful to get the A/C running and cool before we test drove several vehicles. Later in the week we were provided cold soda and Gatorade as we waited to sign the paperwork. When the license plates and tags were ready, Paul went the extra mile and came to put them on for us.
We are grateful for the courteous, no-pressure staff and the professional manner in which the car buying experience was conducted. Thank you for taking care of us from start to finish. We are enjoying our beautiful blue Toyota Camry.
I've bought two cars at Woodway. The staff is great, very friendly & super customer oriented. I have referred family & friends who have bought cars there as well. Their inventory is always impressive it's hard to choose.
I went to Woodway car center to buy my first car and I was extremely impressed by their service. Other dealerships were extremely pushy the second I showed up on the lot and seemed to never let me leave. Woodway on the other hand showed me my options on cars and didn't immediately try to push me into the most expensive option. Woodway made my first car buying experience a great one, I highly recommend someone come here and would definitely come back.
Paul and Arien were super helpful and made this purchase completely stress-free and easy. In literally a matter of a few days, I traded in my old car and was driving off the lot in my new car. We purchased a truck from Woodway Car center and rate their business a 10 out of 10. The staff are really great people and you can trust what they say. We highly recommend this dealership. We live in Killeen and it was well worth the drive to Waco.
From first contact I could tell Woodway Car Center did things different than a typical lot. Arien and Paul were a pleasure to do business with. Their honesty and integrity really shined through. How often can one say that when dealing with used vehicle sales? They went out of their way and met some unusual requests required from my own lender. Anybody else would of gave up or pushed hard to use theirs. They were very accommodating and kept their word on the entire transaction. I see why other reviews are so positive. All their vehicles are super clean with an excellent selection. You guys just earned a customer for life.
These people are the very best! We bought a car from them when we lived in Waco previously -- and, of course, we remembered them. So here we are back in Waco, 15 years later and needing another car. We didn't think twice about going back to Woodway Car Center because the trust they engendered was lasting. And we were not disappointed! I just recently purchased a 2012 Toyoto Tundra from Woodway Car Center.The experience I had there was excellent. The only problem that I experienced was trying to decide on the truck that I wanted. There was a lot of clean vehicles to choose from. Mark Anderson was very easy to work with. He was very professional and courteous. Over 25 years ago I purchased cars from new car dealerships. The experiences were so bad I have never done it again. A few times I have purchased from corner used car lots with OK results. Most times I have purchased from private sellers. Suffice it to say that I am so pleased with the honesty, integrity, knowledge and excellent service from Woodway Car Center that my family has purchased numerous cars from them during the last few years. At Woodway i had a very friendly, no pressure buying experience when I purchased 2005 Toyota Tacoma truck. Arien and the sales staff went out of their way to explain the functions of extra equipment.
