We got stuck in some mud in the middle of nowhere last night, Big Boys was the only place willing to come out and help us out. James was incredible and a true life saver. When he couldn’t get his truck to us to tow us out without risking his own truck getting stuck, he helped us move our car (and got extremely muddy himself). Shelby was incredibly friendly and helpful when we called. And a man, who I assume is a manager? was also really kind and found a way to work with us. Overall 10/10 people. Our bill ended up being more than we were initially quoted, but it took about two hours to get my care out of the mud and it ended up being much less than I was quoted by other wreckers. Definitely recommend this place.
I'm going to make sure that this place is place is reported for the illegal pricing and price gouging. My daughters rental hasn't been there but a couple of hours and they already have the price at 517 dollars. They charged 3x what any other tow company charges and I will be contacting a attorney. Unacceptable
This company towed my semi and trailer without taking the driveline off and damaged my transmission. Took pictures and they came out and saw the damage. Then refused to get my transmission repaired. I would never use the company again in life!! Talked to owner and it was like talking to myself.
I highly recommend Big Boys. Not that you ever want to need to have your car towed, but if you do, call these guys. They had a truck dispatched within 45 minutes, the driver (Scotty) beat us back to the car and he was very polite and even helped my husband push the car into the garage once we got it back to the house. I would give more than 5 stars if that was possible. Thank you so much.
I went to a few tow companies today, and big boy towing is by far the best home based, family oriented, and most plesent place we stopped at. I would rate them a 10 star if they let me.
BIG BOYS wrecker service in Robinson Tx. They damaged my truck and took out my mail box with my truck! They are refusing to pay for my truck damage and also refusing to give me insurance information to get it fixed. They are also refusing to fix my mail box properly. April 30th big boys dispatched a truck to my house to pick up my 1 ton dually to take it to the shop to have the motor repaired. They hooked up my truck no problem secured it no problem. Driver (new driver, first day driving a tow truck per him ) backs down the road crooked and pulls forward and takes out my mail box and never stopped. I’m yelling at him to stop and he finally stops and says “oh I thought I heard something” and says “oh no I’m sorry”. Well finally they get the drivers supervisor out there to look and he says they will fix it and takes my info. I asked him to send me their contact info and he never does, I also asked driver to and he never did. They said they will be in contact to get it fixed. I called the office several times over the next few days day and left messages for anyone, the managers, the owners, for anyone to call me please. They have yet to call me from there to this day and it’s 5/8. So yesterday 5/7, one week later I stop by their office and ask to speak to a manager and the young lady at the front desk was nice and said yes sir let me get them. Alisha (the owners wife per Her) came up and I told her who I was and she said” oh your the one” and immediately said “I’m not buying you a new mail box”! So I said ok if you’re not going to fix that please give me your info for insurance so I can call and get my truck repaired. She refused multiple times! I left and went straight to Robinson PD and talked to an officer he said let me go talk to them and I’ll call you. He never called… well today 5/8 a truck shows up to my house and they say hey we are here to fix your mailbox. Please remember I still have not heard from anyone about this. The contractor says the pad is unleveled from where the force shoved the back of it down in the ground and it will have to be completely redone. Mind you I’ve already had 2 other contractors out to get quotes to fix and they told me the exact same thing. He calls Alisha and tells her word for word with 2 witnesses that it will have to be redone. Alisha tells them to just set it up anyways because that’s all she is doing so she doesn’t have to worry about it. So I tell the contractor unless we are going todo it properly please don’t waste his time. I call Alisha immediately and she tells me the exact opposite of what the contractor just said with witnesses watching. And I ask her why she lied to me about it and was silent. She stated she is not going to do anything about it but set it back up “broken and crooked mind you”. So I continuously ask for insurance info to fix my truck and she refused, just repeating herself stating it just left a “chalk mark” so I’m not fixing anything. Right after this call, the contractor called me directly and apologized for what she was doing to me and explained the whole process and that it does indeed have to be redone to be fixed properly, and he stated “that he is sorry I am having to go through this with them because the only reason he was there was to do what she asked because he is having issues with them and they are refusing to return his impounded truck to him. ”So here I am with a damaged truck and broken mailbox with the local business that damaged it refusing to do the right thing and make it right. I normally wouldn’t put this on Facebook but they have forced me to take alternative measures with their actions. So I do not recommend use this company to say the least.
This place is running a car ring with the help of the Robertson police department confiscating and inpounding vehicles and trying there hardest not to let people recover them. They charged me separately for my truck and traylor towed and they was still attached when I got there towed together as one. And wouldn't let me have traylor said it needed to have separate insurances vary rude owners and workers at the desk and I'd never recommend this place to anyone or use them as a tow service
Bad customer service! Had an appointment to get towing service. The shows up to my house and left because he assumed my sons were unable to talk. He didn’t even get out of his truck and introduce himself as the tower like any business person would have done. Stupid and don’t waste your time with them. I called to see what had happened and she says he used songs to get their attention. Wow!
What a joke. I live in Robinson and was broke down in Waco. Thought I’d call a company I knew. Called twice and asked if they took my insurance. The lady was rude and hung up. First said she was something else. Sad. I thought they were a better company. Don’t call them in an emergency.

The tow truck driver, Scotty, made a difference by providing exceptional service, giving my luxury vehicle top-notch treatment. Good character and made the difficult time a lot better. Great convo on the drive back too!
The receptionist, Alicia, was super kind and helpful. She filled me in on the most helpful I formation for my insurance needs, despite being lied to by an insurance carrier on the phone. Alicia actually saved me over $3,000 based on the knowledge she provided!!! They both told me my attitude was pleasant and they didn’t mind helping me in my situation. It’s amazing what a calm, kind attitude can get you.

You know it would happen! My daughter is planning on heading home from college in Texas in less than 48 hours and I got a call saying her car won't start.
Scramble to call the auto-shop we've had work done to see if they can look at it ASAP and see what's going on and then try to get wrecker service to come and pick-up her car at her apartment and tow it to the shop.
I gave Big Boy's a call at 2:14pm and the driver is calling me at 2:33pm sitting in front of my daughter's car and making sure he's picking up the right vehicle.
Just confirmed with the auto-shop, at 3:30pm, and he's there now dropping it off!
I was very impressed with their communication during the entire process. Even while I was waiting, I asked a question of them on their Facebook page, and they saw and responded to that message before the driver even arrived to pick up the car!
Kudos all around to everyone involved today with my experience. Got 'em saved in my address book and will call them again if I ever need towed (which of course you know I hope to be never!)
I have nothing but positive things to say about these guys! They do what they say they're going to do, when they say they're going to do it. They have bailed me and my Ford POS out more than once and delivered my project truck a couple times with no issue or complaints from me whatsoever. I wouldn't even consider using another service, regardless of price. Too bad I can't give a 6th star!
I had no knowledge I was in a towable area, and was picking up a coffee before work. I walked back out and saw a tow truck hooking my car up to the truck. Running back to my car, I apologized profusely and said I would move the car (I would never knowingly park in an area that was marked towable- although this area wasn't). The drivers were not only rude, pushy, and condescending, they also told me it would be $135 to unhook my car from the truck. After they took my card, they came back and charged me $228!!! They made me stand in the icy rain, crying, late to work... Only to ask me more than three times, "So are we taking it or not?!" after I clearly said I only have one car and needed to use it. Unprofessional, unkind, and quite frankly seemed to enjoy torturing this young mom. I understand it is their job to make tough calls and be in unwanted places, but mocking another person's misery with a complete lack of compassion, professionalism, or just common decency is another. This was beyond unacceptable behavior and I am saddened that this is the way this company would choose to treat their community.

My wife was stuck on I-35 Mile Marker 135. I call this company and got an immediate answer. The female I talk with seem friendly and business like. She ask for the license plate of the vehicle which I did not have at the time. However, I did have the VIN # and she said that was even better. I gave her the location and everything was fine until my wife call me and stated that the driver said "her car was to small for the tow truck," he had to call and get another truck. I stated earlier, I gave the female taking the call the make and model and VIN#. However, he went back and got a smaller tow truck at our expense. Originally, the quote was $120.00. When he returned the tow was jacked up to 132.00! The location from Big Boy Towing to destination was a total of 16 miles. This Company charged $8.25 a mile for the tow! WHEW!! We should not have been charged extra for their mistake. I hope your wife or mom doesn't need these guys. That charge was just that! A CHARGE FOR DOING BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY LIKE BIG BOY TRUCKING!
Instead of continuing the already 30 minutes wait for the Swoop app to retrieve roadside assistance (assigned by my insurance), I called the nearby wrecker company, Big Boys, and within 20-30 minutes of the call, they're on call arrived to help change my blown out tire.
Darrell was so friendly and helpful with replacing the flat with the spare. Thankfully too, since my spare/donut was also low on air, Darrell happened to have an electric pump on hand he had just ordered out-of-pocket, saving us a tow trip to the shop. Awesome awesome help.

My wife went in to get her car back after being towed. She asked the old man why the price was different then the price she received in the mail the old man refused to answer the question instead he preceded to start yelling at her due to her questions which made her emotional so we left and came back the next day. The next day we once again ran into another rude associate. This time we paid the money and left. All we wanted to know was why the price was so different…instead we found out this place is ran by crooks who price gouge to hold your vehicle hostage.

I called 2 weeks ago to price moving a truck to a new house we recently purchased. The nice lady on the the other end told me around $150 maybe a fee dollars more. I said ok great I'll call yall back in 2 weeks when we have to move. The day we're moving, I call her back and tell her what I'm needing. Now she tells me it will be 300 dollars. Amd I told her I had spoke to her 2 weeks ago and she said oh no you didn't I only work on weekends and I told her correct, I called 2 weeks ago on Saturday. They are price gouging and making up prices apparently. I have used big boys my entire life and for this reason they will no longer have my business.
Slid off a driveway and got stuck during the coldest snap and biggest snowfall in north Texas during my lifetime. Roads were terrible and most wrecker services were closed. Got hold of Kevin, and he and his son Gabriel had me back on the road in less than an hour. He actually pulled me out twice, cause I slid right back in after the first time (wrong tires on my vehicle for this kind of weather). They simply wouldn't leave until I was back on the road.

So impressed - my truck slide sideways on the ice and was stuck at an angle against a pipe fence. If I went forward or back it would have ripped off my fender. They came out within 30 minutes and the gentleman pulled out my truck, no damage! I didn’t think it was possible. I’m so grateful. Called AAA all week and they have no service. These folks got to me within 30 minutes of a call.
