A Deeply Disappointing Experience
I am writing this review to express my profound dissatisfaction with the service I received. From the moment the wrecker arrived, the interaction was marked by a complete lack of professionalism and courtesy. The individual who handled the service was rude and dismissive, making an already stressful situation significantly worse. There was no attempt to communicate clearly or treat me with the respect a customer deserves.
In addition to the poor treatment, the final bill was shocking. The prices were outrageously high, far exceeding what would be considered reasonable for the service provided. It felt as though they were taking advantage of a difficult situation. The pricing was not transparent, and the fees seemed to be arbitrarily inflated.
Overall, I would not recommend this wrecker service to anyone. The combination of terrible customer service and astronomical prices makes them a business to be avoided. Customers should not have to endure such an unpleasant experience, especially when they are in a vulnerable position.
I had gotten involved in a very traumatic car accident a few days ago and had my car towed by them. The owner was very rude and unprofessional when I went to get my car. This is the first time in my life I had been in a situation like this and not only did the owner go on to blame me for how I handled things but he also went on to charge me a ridiculously high amount to recover my property back. Never had I dealt with such a complete lack of empathy and respect. I strongly advise not to use their services as you will be taken advantage of and
deal with emotionally abusive behavior on top of that.
We've had nothing but great experiences working with Charlie and Lone Star Wrecker. One of our trucks went down and it was extremely hard finding someone who was willing to tow it and install a new motor in our box truck. I had reached out to just about every mechanic shop in town and they either never called me back or didn't want the responsibility of installing the new engine. Joseph took on engine replacement and not only got it done for us, he stayed in constant contact with me throughout the whole process. He ran into some other issues during the install and instead of just simply replacing the engine and giving it back to me he fixed those issues as well. Very thankful for Charlie and Joseph. Highly recommend!

Lone star was very good service. Got stranded and they told me 30-45 minutes and they were there with in 20 minutes Greg was very helpful and courtieous. He even told me what the problem was, thanks lone star towing
After car dying at Wolfforth & 82nd St. underpass (& 3 Great Guys pushing car out of traffic to Pizza hut) Waiting 2 days for insurance called Lone Star (Tiger) Towing And they came Right Away! And they also did A Great Job on the repairs (would of had to wait until the next week to get in other shop) but they knew we really needed help! They called with estimated cost for parts & repairs before starting & ended up even less! They were Extremely fast, Efficient, Professional & JUST VERY NICESO GLAD & GRATEFUL WE KNOW THEM NOW THANK YOU VERY MUCH⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
On my way to Lubbock a hose busted. I coasted on to Wolfforth. Googled a mechanic & I saw they are a wrecker also. Luckily I was only a few buildings down so I was able to drive the car & leave the keys. Garage opens at 8. I got the call at 8:55 a.m. with the diagnostic. Man was super friendly. I felt comfortable knowing everything was going to be ok. Car was done by 1!!! Small town living has its advantages to meet good people. Thank you Lonestar Garage & Wrecker!!
These guys helped us out of a bind and are very honest and trustworthy. We used their wrecker service to tow a pickup back from Plains and their shop to diagnose the issue. Very easy to communicate with and just nice west Texas folks!
I called Loan Star Garage and Wrecker on a Friday after an accident. They showed up promptly and towed my vehicle back to their yard. We have been in contact frequently with each other and insurance to try to get my vehicle fixed quickly. Being a garage and a tow company made the process go a lot smoother than trying to find a garage to get my vehicle repaired elsewhere. I do feel like the fees for the tow and repairs are fairly priced compared to others in the area.
These guys were awesome and saved my ass! I was on a 2 days move from Montana to Austin towing a heavy trailer, with a dog and a cat. I broke down in Lubbock not know what to do with all of my stuff and how to get everything down to Austin to close on my house the next morning. I spoke to the owner of Lone Star and he told me they could take a look at my truck the next morning, store my trailer and drop me off at a hotel on the way. By 1 the next day they had me back on the road. I couldn’t believe it! Thanks again guys! Really turned that day around for me.
We have used Charlie and his guys a couple times and it's always a seamless experience. He takes care of the vehicles as if they were his own. We are thankful for these guys taking care of us!
