Absolutely baffled by this company. Son had a small wreck. I don't think it needed to be towed as no fluids were leaking. Driver insisted it needed to be towed to my wife and she wasn't sure so she allowed it. Literally 2 miles max. 150$. I can have stuff towed from Abilene to Hawley for 50$. Insane. I recommend calling Abilene Wrecker. This company sucks.
In response to yours: your driver did not drive from Anson to Hawley having claimed he was already passing through on the highway.
Definitely should change the hours to Monday through Friday if He is going to have a attitude about helping people on the weekends! Very rude an very unprofessional!
Very helpful. I had to make arrangements to tow a vehicle long distance. They were very good at coordinating with me because I was out of town and had to have a family member meet them with the keys to move a vehicle that broke down at a convience store! They were very understanding and very helpful to get this car to a shop in a nearby town. Saved me hours and hours of having to drive up there myself!! :)
I blew a tire out in a very dangerous stretch of highway that appears to be a wreck trap for many people. The local sheriff's office called out a wrecker and JD and another man showed up. They towed my vehicle off with out assessing my tire. They did put my spare tire on for me without evaluating the state of my tire which turned out to be fine. When I call j.d. to see about picking up my vehicle he asked how I would be paying I told him a credit card and I actually meant a debit card he then called me back with an outrageous amount of $887 for a tow bill. I proceeded to explain that I do not have that type of money he said that I would be using the credit card and or insurance and it would be fine. I pleaded that was not an option to pay that amount. A dear friend that is also in the tow business attempted to call and reason with JD. JD was not only unreasonable but also threatened my friend. It is my opinion that JD is a small town crook and is taking advantage of people in their most vulnerable moments. To say that he completed highway robbery is an understatement. I don't know if there is another tow company in that area but I would highly recommend you use someone else and save yourself hundreds of dollars.
This company does a great job. Very prompt service and very reasonable rate. My nephews alternator went out on the way to Abilene. They picked him and the car up and hauled them to the school within 30 min from calling. I recommend these guys for any towing needs in the Abilene area.
My car was recently stolen. The thief messed up the axcel during transportation. My vehicle was towed. Now I'm being told there is a hold on it so I can't pick it up. And I will still be charged when I am able to retrieve it even tho I am the title holder. I don't understand the logic behind this. I can't pick up my vehicle due to the hold, and I'm still being charged for it being there?
The GPS told us to go across a cotton field to our destination… Truby Cemetery. As luck would have it we found the only wet spot in West Texas and got stuck in the mud. JD’s Towing was there in 20 minutes and had us on our way. He even showed us where the actual cemetery is located. Big thank you!

I own a pilot car business and one of my vehicles threw a wheel bearing. They were able to pick up my driver and car within an hour of calling and take it right to the shop of our choice and also by recommending. They arrived at the shop B&B Automotive and was able to unhook from the wrecker straight into the shop bay. Thank you both for quick service.

JD wrecker service towed our van I left some important papers in the van and they went and retrieved them and put them in a plastic bag where they wouldn't get wet cuz it was raining and even brought them out to me so I didn't have to get out of my truck to get them back they were very friendly and kind and I appreciate them I would recommend them at any time for somebody that needed their services.
Great response time with a reasonable rate. They answered the phone right away unlike most tow companies. They showed up quicker than expected, even at 7am. Loaded truck up carefully and drove out of their normal area to drop off at dealership all while charging a very reasonable rate. Thank you.
My vehicle was impounded and I didn't have all the money to get it out, I was close and in a bind, but they let me have it with what I had. There used to be two things I hated and that was pawn shop workers and tow truck drivers. But I guess not all tow truck company's are bad.

I had hit a pothole and broke my upper control arm and JDs driver Kindle six did a great job loading & unloading my truck so that there were no further damages to my front wheel. After dropping my truck off at the dealership he gave me a ride to a hotel I was very impressed with J.D’s.
These guys are about as good as it gets! Always quick to help and pricing is great. Highly recommended. I've been in the car business for 10 years and this is one of the few companies in the area that I don't cringe when I see their name...also they have good attitudes and that seems to be a rarity in the wrecker business-
they go and pick stuff up on someone elses word without even contacting the owners. they happened to be driving by there yard ans saw it. in my books thats stealing no matter how u look at it. ill guarantee this much that the attorneys have been notified of there actions. i wouldnt hire them to haul off my worst enemy because they would listen to other people instead of the right people. picking up estate assets without permission is a serious deal.

These guys were the nastiest, rudest people I have ever met!
I was moving and had all my belongings in my car and was involved in an accident a few years back and had to go to the hospital with my sister. After being released we were able to get out to the business to try and retrieve my belongings. After spending hours arguing with the guy just to let me onto the property and into my car, he refused to let any of my family help me retrieve my belongings. They had to wait outside the gate and were threatened that if they tried to step foot on the property to help me they'd be shot. We called the cops and had an officer come out cause we feared for our safety. So I lugged all of my belongings in black trash bags about a hundred yards back and forth while being rushed and told to hurry up.
This place is beyond horrible!!!
Just want readers to know, their nastiness, and threatening manner, as well as intimidation tactics with their younger clients will not go unnoticed. A letter has be sent to Sen. Ted Cruz, the director's office of the Texas Department of Public Safety has been made aware of their business tactics, a formal compliant has been filed with the Texas Department of License and Regulation, and a compliant will be filed with the Better Business in the morning. This is far from over, in fact it is just the beginning.
We couldn't have ask for better service and care than this man gave us. With temps hitting 108 he was so compassionate and accomodating to our situation especially us being two older folks with a little dog. Thank you so dearly J.D.

Wish there was a way to rate lower they're the only towing company in the area so threy feel they can do what ever they want worst experience of my life the owner refused to take us where we asked to ho and when confronted his son got in our face trying to fight us. Stay away at all cost
Trying to get someone there sooner and these guys cancelled me out for it even though I told them I'll go ahead and wait because there's no one else near here. Guess I'm a criminal for trying to get someone here sooner so I don't run out of drive hours in my semi. 3-4 hour wait time for someone 20 minutes away, just for a door unlock. Horrible customer service, horrible wait times. Anyone in Abilene could get here in an hour.
