I took my 2015 GMC Duramax in to get checked. The staff was really professional and courteous. They followed up quickly and provided feedback. Some places will tell you something is wrong just to make money off of you but not De Jean Automotive. They are honest professionals and even suggested solutions and insight into what could have happened. I told them they have my business from here on for my truck. I highly recommend De Jean Automotive for any diesel service or automobile service you may need.

My diesal truck was having fuel pressure codes. They diagnosed it and fixed it same day as appointment. Was something very simple and they diagnosed it as that. Very honest!

Took my car there after being quoted a price. They told me it needed brake pads, rotors, and calibers all the way around...the price they gave me was over $1800! Once I said no way, they said I could get away with just the front brakes but that was still going to be over $800. So, I got home and called around and found Boydangs more then half the price to fix it! Needless to say my car is now at Boudangs! Why when a old woman go in a shop they get screwed! I may not be the brightest crayon in the box, but I'm atleast in the box...I new I was getting the shaft!!! Maybe learn to be honest!!! Me being on social security and even tho the bill was gonna be paid by someone else doesnt mean you should give the the shaft!!! I gave them 1 star because I couldnt give anything less. And I'm sure once this is read it will be deleted!
Wonderful staff!! Car towed late afternoon and called with estimate first thing next morning. When you get repair with CARE it is truly a blessing. I experienced exceptional professionalism on every level at DeJean Automotive. The reception / office/ admin staff was exceptionally impressive. God Bless!!
I normally don't do the review thing but the people at DeJeans just stand out from the pack. Best diesel mechanic(s) in the Golden Triangle as far as attention to detail, being courteous even when you're steaming on the other end of line because your vehicles broke down, quick troublshooting, getting you in and out as soon as possible (depending on job), and just an all around good staff that knows their craft. I've brought my truck (LP5) there 3 or 4 times and will continue to do so when needed. I'd highly recommend their services. For the people who say "oh they're pricy" you get what you pay for!
Absolutely amazing experience I've had troubles with so many mechanics in the area so when my water pump went out on my 6.0 I was taking a shot in the dark with this company. They blew me away I dropped my truck off a day early and they called me that night and had everything already torn apart, the next day at around 3pm they called me saying it was done As a buisness owner time down is money lost so I can't thank them enough for the quick turnaround and fair price. They did the water pump, oil change, replaced belts, and even replaced an old radiator hose for less than $1,000 amazing timing and even better pricing. Will definitely take my entire fleet of vehicles to them! Thanks guys!

We had an injector fail on a 5.9 Cummins. The staff had it removed in a few hours and I had it overnighted to the company who manufactured and installed the tips on the injectors and as soon as they were returned Chris and his staff had it replaced in just a few hours.

I had an issue with my truck’s passenger side rear tire rotor getting very hot, either due to sticking caliper or bad axle bearing. I put my truck axle up on jack stands to check the caliper. It would release the rotor when I let off of the brake pedal. So the caliper seemed to be working, so was there a problem with the axle? Like many of us out there my vehicle is no longer under warranty, so I checked for repair shops that can do axle work. I’m also looking at reviews online, and asking around on social media for reputation, good or bad. DeJean’s has a good standing from all we heard from, so I got a wrecker to bring my truck to them on a Monday afternoon. The next day around noon they were able to troubleshoot the problem to the caliper cylinder (apparently it was sticking just enough to overheat the rotor). They replaced the part and work was completed late that day. The repair was done faster than I figured it would take, and the costs for labor was reasonable. For anything I can’t repair myself I’m using this place.
This place is absolutely incredible. Like most places that use a book/website to determine hours to completed a job, so do they. However, even though my particular job called for 1.4 hours of labor, they realized that it would not, and did not take that long and subtracted $150 from my labor bill!! Now what other shop in the world would be that honest? They could have easily just charged me for the full time but did not. I now have a new shop that will do all my future work. Everyone was very polite and friendly. Just a wonderful experience for me. Try them out. You will not be disappointed. Thanks guys, you rock!!
