First time doing business on 8/26/25 to get an oil change. The next day i drove to Houston and had a malfunction with the oil filter. I called and spoke with a lady that handled the situation very professionally A guy drove to Houston within a few hours, diagnosed the problem, and got it done. Besides the minor malfunction, I'd recommend.
They put more than 1 liter of excess oil in my car. My dashboard showed lights coming on directing me to drain excess oil. This could have seriously damage the engine and other systems in the car.
I have been going to this location for years to have my vehicle registration and inspection done, but after my most recent experience I will no longer visit. I know the law changed where vehicles are no longer required to get an inspection, but i still request one. I'm usually greeted by a bald man with a white beard when I go. I know working with the general public can be tiring but he was just rude to me for no reason. I stated to him I wanted to do renew my registration and get and inspection, but he informed me they don't do do inspection. I was aware but I still wanted one even though he said it wouldn't be legitimate. I paid for my registration and then he just threw my papers on the counter and I had to request for a invoice. We went outside together and he did what he considered a inspection. My car was locked and he didn't ask for me to unlock it, he just gave me a look. When he needed my keys to turn on the ignition, he just reached behind his back expecting me to give them to him. He got water on my when he tested my windshield wipers as well. Everything about this was nonverbal communication. I will not be returning.
I bought an Interstate battery from these people, which are a relatively newer Interstate dealer in February. I’ve been using Interstare batteries now for 30+ years from the longtime Beaumont dealer. The battery started failing in early April (less than 2 mos old) I paid these guys a premium price to come to my house to install (battery + installation) as I had just had surgery….and when I call them they immediately start trying to blame something other than their battery! I had my truck checked…(3.5 yrs old) ….ZERO draw on the battery when not running…and alternator pumping 14.3 amps!!! So since when are you supposed to accept a battery that loses charge just from sitting in the driveway??? It left me stranded twice and after tellin the guy to get me a new battery (a big reason I buy Interstate batteries is because of their reliability and warranty!) he says he’s under staffed and can’t go get me one at the moment! (Second time I brought it in ) I made the decision to go get the replacement battery myself from their “sister dealer” in Beaumont who I’d never had an issue with! He understood my issue and gave me a new replacement battery (uninstalled) so I bring it to Mid County (30+ mile drive) and he tells a guy to swap it out…which he did in 5 minutes! We leave and when I get home, the guy calls crying about I owe him $105 for labor for swapping out the battery…HIS bad battery…out! Brought truck to Midcounty Alternator and had it checked…. battery was bad…NO draw from anything on truck when not running and 14.3 amps coming from alternator when running and the guy still wants to claim that battery is good!!! They LIED and think people are stupid! I had that stereo lead in my truck since it was 6 mos old and that original battery lasted 3.5 years and never had this problem! These people are a joke and I’ll never use them again…EVER!!!!
Aye yooooooo, this WILL be my new spot to get an oil change, coolant flush or whatever!! The staff is super amazing!! If they find something, they will come talk to you before they do anything!! Plus in my book!! Oh and prices, U CAN’T BEAT THEM!! Keep up the good work guys!!
Took my late son's truck in to get a Mobil One oil change. These guys were quick and efficient. I didn't have to wait and they checked all my fluids, filters and tires. They didn't try to up sell me on anything I didn't need.

Amazing customer service through and through, from the employees in the office all the way to the mechanics in the back. Everyone is super nice and friendly and super quick! Every time I come I am in and out in no time.
Quick and helpful! I went to three different places today (Saturday) before finding one that could complete my inspection. I was only there about 10 mins, and they took care of my registration as well. Highly recommend!
Would have given 5 stars if it weren’t for a loose oil filter. As soon as I called about the issue, they immediately sent someone to address the problem. Issue was resolved within 45 minutes of the shop opening. Thankfully it was caught before any other issues came from it! They even had me come by and cleaned up and replaced the filter just to be safe. I do appreciate the prompt response. Shop manager was great, gave me supplies to clean up. I am confident had any other issues came from this they would have made sure everything was made right.
I have been customer of Mid country club for a while. If ever I had a problem they fix it. I when for a oil change. when some yet from below you wet me with oil. Technical Eddie reply sorry man. Give hose so I can get this oil off the plugs .So they proceeded with oil change. 8 /29/2024. So I called them on next day saying my car was shaking. They said come in and we will place on machine. So I did and the technician didn't know how to work this machine. So I when to advance auto and place on there machine it indicated problem with my spark plug misfire. So Sunday I get stuck at oriely auto parts in nederland tx. So I Call the mobile mechanic to fix my car. He put on his machine indicated same as advanced auto machine. As he starring repairing my car i took picture oil and water and oil on To my truck. If they had handled this Friday as i when back shop none this would happen. I witnessed who was on phone with me . While asking if they'll will cause problems and Eddie said bo I was it off.. There picture showing that's lie and mobile mechanic beside plugs I had to real. I want them to pay for my repairs.
On the wall, there is a big sign "military discount" I informed the clerk prior to service, veteran and military tags on vehicle for discount. After service, he quoted the charge, I asked him about the military discount. He muttered, can't give military discount, and proceded to check me out
I informed him he should have said that when I first informed him about veteran status. Since he has it posted on Wall. Not going back and informed all my VET associates not to go there.
Quick, convenient, no need to get out of your truck, cheaper than the dealership with your choice of oil not whatever the dealer buys bulk for the lowest price then charges you twice the price. Hard to beat

They'll scam you if you don't know about cars. After they couldn't scam me with the work they scammed me with the pricing. Told me one thing at the register, bank statement showed different smh. Just noticed that, will be calling when they open again.
This used to be my default place to bring my car, but now I probably won't go there again after two consecutive negative experiences.
If you plan to get a vehicle inspected there, be prepared to buy windshield wipers from them. In about 15 minutes I heard the guy tell two different people after inspection they would only get a pass if they paid to replace their windshield wipers. I'd never heard that before, and springing it suddenly with no mention of how much they would charge for parts or labor felt suspicious. Almost like a racket, or extortion. Maybe they've just become super meticulous. Or maybe they figure it's easy cash because no one will refuse on the spot. Well, I said no thanks & immediately drove my car elsewhere where it passed inspection easily.
A few months ago I brought them my car because a warning light was on. They held it for a week(!), couldn't give me an estimate of when the diagnostic would actually be performed, and then ended up misdiagnosing the problem! (They said it was an electrical issue, but it later turned out to be a simple pump & valve that I was able to replace myself.)
Because of these things I don't expect to go to this place anymore.
Been bringing my car to them for over 7years … no problems and I called for a print out showing all my oil changes and they verified and emailed it to me.
I went for an inspection. When it was my turn, a mechanic got in my car & told me to drive around the back. He said he saw my handicapped placard, and he didn't want me to have to walk anywhere. I stayed in the car, even for payment of services.They waited on me hand and foot, despite my protest. They were all very friendly & thoughtful!
Deserves 0 stars. Last time I checked you do have to physically drive a vehicle for inspection not just “visually” look at it. And yes, a part was replaced on it a month ago and it was running great until AFTER one of your workers got in it and gassed it to the back of the shop. Then the employee who drove the car was dishonest about when the check engine light came on. There were no issues after the fact of me replacing a part on my car, the only issues that came up were after it was driven by your worker and now it’s broke down in my driveway. So sure, you can claim that your business had no hand this but I’m not a dishonest person and have no reason to make up stories. I will never return to your business and I will warn others to record their car working just fine as insurance prior to your business getting their hands on it because it’s evident they will be dishonest if anything happens.
Had problems with starting my escalade these guys really helped me out they knew I was having cash troubles and they worked with me beyond what I ever expected! They GENUINELY CARE about their customers!! You won't find a better mechanic shop! I'm a loyal customer from now on. Do yourself a favor and bring your vehicles to these professionals you will be pleased!
From the owner on down got that rough biker look, but the work is top notch. I watch as I wait for the oil change or the insurance inspection and I see how they treat their customers. They learn their names, stop and talk with them. I observe that they really care for their community-Regardless of age, race or class. Professional and class act. I respect them, I trust them And I would highly recommend visiting and seeing it for yourself.
I've been coming to Mid County Lube (I've always called it Milton's!!! ) for years and they are always super friendly and they take care of whatever my car needs. Whether it be inspection and tags or an oil change, they are quick and professional. I would recommend them to EVERYONE!!

First experience was great! Quick oil change and full service for registration. Decided to have my camper van gone thru end to end and tux a small oil leak. $2800 later, I get it back with half the dash board off and in the rear of van and guess what, it’s LEAKING OIL still!!! Before I realized this incompetence, I took my daily driver in for oil change, flat repair and registration. Quick service, BUT I drive off and had to stop at the first store to finish airing my tire up and they left the skid plate on my car loose and it drug all the way home! The inside staff is pretty rude and don’t want to hear any feedback just pay the money. Expensive lesson learned. Never again. The LUBE SHOP ON HWY 365 ONLY!!!
The ppl there are nice enough. Professional, friendly and efficient but if I call MORE THAN ONCE, and am given a price quote... if someone else calls and is given the exact same quote... I don't expect to get there, decline that said service and STILL be charged coincidently THE EXACT SAME FEE that was quoted to us as LABOR CHARGE if I had gotten said service. In my heart, that wreaks DISHONESTY AND LACK OF INTEGRITY
I get respected here & treated like I matter. This place has their stuff in check. Runs well & well "oiled" (pun intended).

There was about an hour and a half wait. Only because they had to go get a battery in Beaumont. Super nice of them. They always do above and beyond for you and make sure your car is doing good. Went in for an oil change and they saw my battery was low so I asked for another. They changed air filter and some other filter for me as well. I've been going here for a while now for my oil changes and inspections. They are almost always really fast with everything. I love it there.
Saved my mom several hours and serious cash on a Buick bulb replacement. Dealership wanted to take off the bumper and tons of nonsense, these guys, 10 minutes and back on the road. They were nice too. Polite. She was blown away. They'll get our business from now on
