Becoming like Walmart has two scales usually only one running if they don't think there busy enough.so you wait and wait.i decided to make a review I seem to have plenty of time to make one.and read all the other reviews.might order a pizza looking like I'll have plenty of time
Easy access. No clutter to navigate through on way to the scale. Being my first time there I was not familiar with the procedure. I parked to the side and sat for a few minutes thinking there may be an attendant to give direction. No attendant. Walked to the scale house and lingered for a moment and asked a worker what the procedure was and he cordially obliged. The young lady operating the scale got my i.d and plate info as her job requires. Some may interpret her lack of communication as rude or having an attitude, but realistically, working a scrap yard, how cheerful can one expect a chick to be. A bit of a chill Is understandable. I wasn't there for meaningless chitchat and was not subjected to any. Unloading my trailer was straight forward and getting reweighed took only a couple minutes. I had to ask about the process of payment, and again, a fellow I asked cordially directed me to the window at the end of the scale house. If I had known the what and where, I could have been in and out the gate in under 15 minutes with the little amount I had. If I may suggest a sign with the simplest instructions for first timers and us old timer first timers. Overall the experience was brief and simple. No complaints here. I'll return when the need arises.
Husband and I took 2 truck loads of cans. The guys were friendly, and quick getting us unloaded. And they untied our bags and gave them back. The place is way more cleaner than it used to be. It's our go to scrap yard forsure
Clean,Good Service,Reasonable Prices, and I’m able to See My IN and OUT weight. Also you don’t have to buy TIRES every other day like my experience in other yards.
Horrible service!! The lady working the scale was very rude with no respect. She mixed all my clean copper together with dirty copper and typed it all up as dirty copper and even tried throwing a bunch of heavy peices into my brass pile sayimg it was brass and not copper.
She was also rude to me because it was close to the end of her shift and a bunch of cars was piling up behind me in a line to scrap their metal. We will never be going back. I think i got ripped off $200
The girl working the scale is very disrespectful and does not have any understanding of the business. Do not take your business here! I had all my copper sorted in three different buckets, she dumped it ALL out and mixed it together.. Then proceeded to complain to me about having to sort it.. In the end I was ripped off due to her ignorance
Terrible.... Took an hour to clear the customer 2 cars ahead of me then the attendant tried it lump my bare copper as insulated and was full of attitude
I take my scrape metal to Scrapworks Recycling on Hwy. 365 just after Jade on the right. It keeps the metal out of the landfill & I make some pocket change.
I was there a few days ago and I've never felt so disrespected by the new girl working the scales . She doesn't have any understanding and doesn't know how to talk to people. Very rude . I won't be seeing this place again
Great customer service and very fast, attentive service. The scale is malfunctioning or they are straight up swindling people. When I drove up, it read a certain weight, and it was jumping - 100lbs. Not very accurate, got paid for 60lbs for a water heater where the plaque and mfr specs is well over 100lbs.
Great customer service at the copper/aluminum turn in building. If you are a new customer don't show up on a Saturday, the girl in the office doesn't know how to do stuff. I waisted 40 minutes waiting to be told that.
Fast service. I've usually never waited more than 20 minutes, but that all usually depends on how many people are before you. Go earlier in the day, less folks. Good price on cans per pound.
Very nice people best prices I could find around best part is they pay cash and take any kind of junk unless u have trash in it witch I wouldn’t take it will always work with these people no other scrap yard will get my scrap also they gave me. Scrap works Hat
Nice friendly place they worked are problem out and everything good again and there the only skrap yard I no if you're a lil late they still let you in after the drive there really wish they stay open till 4 again hint hint Sam lol he's a good guy real nice
Took a load of metals today and was very pleased! Very clean facility and great customer service. Even matched the price from competitor. Will be going back for sure.
