Awesome crew! Ran out of gas right in front of the scale but that didn't stop that Awesome bunch from helping us out and getting us take care of. Hell yeah!
This is a shady company. My dad had a window unit he wanted me to cut up for him so I do. I cut all loops off the coils and even cut the welds of the loops on the one side with welds. And I’m told that they consider all loops number 2. Even tho it contains no other secondary medal. They are misclassifying metal and literally stealing money out of LAW ABODING CITIZENS pockets. My grandma or anyone should be able to scrap their ac unit and get the money they have a rt to and are laws in place for. Don’t know if it’s still the case. But the last two sets of dudes in the copper turn in spot would take and classify your stuff as number two. Then seperate it after I left and make the difference and put it in their pocket. Don’t know if that’s what’s going on. Or just pure laziness not wanting to check the materials. This will be reported to the governing agency over scrap yards. Also have pics of materials that were mis classified. And pics of weights before coming to their business
No one picks up the phone, we have tried to drop off numerous times according to the google schedule and the schedule on their website and it’s never opened. You are better off dumping your recycling on the side of the road then dealing with this company.
business continues to create a safety issue for vehicles passing by due to the amount of metal that gets lodged into tires etc. they refuse to clean or do anything about this issue
Every single employee that I interact with at Premier is courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. The entire area where a customer goes through for recycling semi-precious metals, as well as aluminum cans is unbelievably tidy. Their scales are accurate! I know this because I have weighed my copper before leaving home on several trips to Premier, and there's never been one time that my scales had told me a different weight from what the scales at Premier determined.
We have been hauling stuff to this scrap yard for over 10 years 2 or 3 load's a day usually and have always been treated with respect and always been paid fair price as we all know if you're a scrapper the price can change at anytime the yard is kept up but of course it's dirt so when it rains it is wet and nasty but the people working there can't do anything about mother nature they have to deal with the nasty mess more than we do so give them a break they are doing the best they can
Some major changes have happened around this place. Yard is clean and organized, staff/management seem to have been refreshed with new, professional and educated individuals, particularly Dunnie on the Non Ferrous side, excellent customer service! Always quick, friendly, and accurate service here, will certainly be back!
Hats off to this recycling yard!!! Their customer service is amazing and they are always willing to pay the fair price. But it’s no surprise with the excellent leadership that’s being displayed by management! Shoutout to that Shaun guy, he really knows how to communicate and makes us customers feel like we’re a part of recycling family and not just a sale!!!! I would recommend this place to any of family and friends here in jasper
Got here around 10 and was after 12 when we got to leave. The guy running the scales was high as a kite on something and his helper played on his phone the whole time. The scales read -1 and the guy doesn't reset it each time. The whole place is unkept and rough the lady at the desk pays under what the board says.
I was just informed by a good friend that this place was bought out by K&L recycling.
They made him unload his trailer because it had fencing on it.
They consider that to be wire, and it pays 1 penny per pound.
All other yards around, they call it metal period.
It's done at whatever the price of metal is currently going for. If it's 6 a hundred or 9 a hundred, it's all metal, period.
They don't make you unload your trailer and reload it, then go reweigh.
This makes no sense whatsoever.
If you are a recyler, I would avoid this place.
Yard is unkempt, muddy, and just messy
It's was ok , the guys was great they helped me out a bunch , they were friendly and helped me get unloaded , and the pay was the best around.
I recommend to everyone to go here for there scrap iron and recycle stuff ! Great place !
Great place for the best scrap price with the least hassle, speedy,friendly, and knowledgeable personnel. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes and a little folding money made the day not a bummer. Will always go here simply because they don't treat people like crooks and they pay cash on the spot!
