Leaving a Monday morning review for a weekly trash service was not in my bingo card, but here we are. I'd put our can out the night before our pickup day, clearly filled too high, and the lid had flipped up. This morning, as the truck is coming down the street, I see that some of the trash had blown out on the ground, but it was too early for me to care enough to run outside. I figured I'd do it later and just put it in the empty can. But then the guys got to my house to pick up the can and they quickly picked up the pieces of mail on the ground. Was it a huge deal? I guess not if I were their only stop, but to do that across their whole route? Above and beyond, honeslty. (Sidenote: Now I feel pretty terrible for quietly drinking my coffee instead of running out there ahead of the truck to pick it up myself...)
Had a couple bags of weeds/grass that were on the heavy side. Knew that if it was too heavy I'd need to take them myself. The guys took an extra minute to dump my can, load these 2 heavy bags inside and then re-dump my can. Above-and-Beyond. Thank you, gentlemen!!!!
Someone illegally dumped gasoline canisters in our trash can the night before trash day. Fortunately, we discovered this before the can was picked up since gasoline in a trash compactor can cause catastrophic damage. We reported it to the Hays County Sheriff and notified Recon. As thanks for saving them from major damage to their equipment, the General Manager said they wouldn't help us deal with the mess. It was our responsibility to dispose of the gas and clean the barrel ourselves, they said. That is not how we would expect a local company to treat its customers in a bad situation.
Our neighborhood switched to their services over a year ago and now I pay more and spend more time dealing with what they don’t do than I ever had to with the previous company.
Superior service. Ryan took care of me when I missed putting my cans out for the weekly pickup. Was at my house personally delivering me new cans, taking my filled ones with him in his personal truck within 4 hours. Cannot say enough good things about this company! 5 star service across the board.
Like others, we've been with Recon after Texas Disposal missed our pickups several times. Recon is extremely reliable, competitively priced, and somehow seemingly always on schedule -- even during inclement weather. Would strongly recommend.
We switched to Recon a few years ago, and have never regretted it. Excellent service (including recycling!), simplified billing, great pricing, and the few times I've had to call the office, it's always been a friendly and positive experience. Trash with class!

Last year we made the switch to Recon. Most people in our area are unaware they have options for garbage pick up. These guys never skip us, they come the same time each week, they are responsive, and they have monthly auto pay and are very competitively and reasonably priced.
While we have been very please with the service to date, what a surprise today. We actually received an email from Recon stating that they would be picking up later in the day than usual, but wanted to inform customers to avoid wondering. Wow - thoughtful and reassuring are unexpected customer service values anymore. Thank you, Recon! Highly recommend them!
We recently started using this service at our home off of Hamilton Pool Rd. The service has been excellent. I'm happy that we can now recycle! The manager Kris is very nice to work with.
