I called this auto shop to come across the street to jump start my car and it took 2 seconds…. I have 2 little kids in the car and the dude charge me $75!!! It took him 2 mins to get to me and 2 SECONDS to jump the car… less then 3 min job…. $75!!!! I was expecting him to tell me like $25 top if he didn’t want a $10 tip for the GENEROSITY because there were kids involved…. I didn’t have $75 to pay that kinda price!
It started off great with them towing my car and then it took 48 hours for them to tell me any diagnosis and that was after I had called twice and got no info so my husband called and within 30 minutes of him calling they called and told me it was fixed without even calling me with a price. Regardless I went to pick it up and was prepared to pay the price they told me only for them to tack on an extra $100 dollars after I got there.To top it off there were cigarette ashes in my car as well. The WORST customer service.
Horribly mismanaged. Kept my vehicle for 3 days and did nothing. I told them exactly what the problem was and they still couldn’t repair it. Then they tried to make it sound like I told them wrong. Not only incompetent but flat out childish. Find somewhere else to go.
I lived very near Bosone previously and thought I’d do business with them sooner or later. My wife and I were careless driving into our garage and did some damage. I was given a reasonable price and a four day time. Also they provided a loaner car with no extra charge. It was finished on time and I was very pleased with the work. I’d recommend them to anyone with bodywork needs.
I have used Bosone's since I had my first car in the mid 80's, and for every car since. Chuck and his crew have never let me down, often diagnosing problems that no other mechanic could. I still use him for most jobs even though I live in Conroe, now. This shop is a treasure in Seabrook.
BEWARE!!!!! I've known and used Bosone for a long time. I asked for a car to be towed from Clear Lake to Baytown and the person on the phone (Hanna) told me it was 43 miles when it's actually just 21 miles. At $4 per mile it makes a difference. Don't fall for the scam!! Sorry Chuck.
By far the worst Mechanic I’ve ever been to.
I took my car to them due to it being on AAA and told them to check my electrical, (wiring, battery terminals, fuses, grounding, ect.) as I have already changed my battery 3x and my alternator once the past 6 months.
Get a call 3 days later saying I have a bad alternator and that it’s already out of my car.
I go get it swapped and asked how much it’s going to cost and if they checked everything else and I was told they did, they won’t have a price to give them a call back in 45 minutes.
Call them back, no answer. I show up before close and my cars just sitting already “done.”
I go inside and ask again if they checked everything, I’m told yes it was the alternator so I pay.
Moment I leave I stopped at the red light, go to accelerate at green and my car jerks a few time, ABS light flashes, and I go from 1st-4th gear going 10mph. I call them and turn around.
I get told they haven’t had the time to test drive my car (for 3 days!) so they don’t know if it’s something they did or something I did, (LITERALLY DRIVING OUT THE PARKING LOT!)
I would have to pay them AGAIN to tell me what the problem is so they could fix it.
Place is a complete scam and waste of money.
AAA is investigating the issue and I hope they get taking off their recommendations.

We have been bringing our cars here for over 30 years. Everyone here is very professional, very busy, and it is quickly apparent you're looking at a tight ship. We recently had problems with Grandma's car when she gave it to our son. Two different shops in LA tried to fix it without success. Bosone Automotive fixed it and got it to us a day early. They are not cheap but they tell you the cost before the repair and have never gone over that number. Some of these folks have been working here over 30 years. This is not a one and done repair. It is a long term relationship with a company that will take care of your car problems. We've never been disappointed or felt our money wasn't well spent. It feels good to write this review because these guys deserve it. Give them a try and I think you'll agree. I just read the other reviews and other reviewers say Bosone Automotive have very reasonable charges. I didn't compare pricing to other shops. Apparently, I'm an old guy, and to me everything is expensive...
Great place. Great people. Been taking all my vehicles to them more than 5 years. They do business right. A manufacturer sent them a part that went bad quickly after they fixed one of my vehicles (manufacturer claims 7/1000 failures like that). Bosone, of course, replaced and resolved the issue with no further expense to me. They also spent hours investigating an issue that was difficult to diagnose - a bushing slipping out due to cross members being loose. They resolved the issue and I would describe the cost that they charged as generous for the time it took. This is the place you want to do business, whether it's automotive or body work.
Another shop told me to buy the AC compressor that went out on my 4runner online and they would put it in for me then they changed their minds. I brought it to these guys and they installed it and recharged my system. They even called with a follow up to see how the new part was doing. Highly recommend them

They picked up my truck from my house because the starter went out and put a new starter in, one hour later called me to say it's ready for pickup, I was extremely satisfied
My vehicle was towed and my ID was expired, this place actually worked with me on how to go about getting the proper documents to get my vehicle out the next day. Many thanks to BOB who educated me on how to go about obtaining these docs.
Needed front end alignment. Called Friday to make an appointment. Dropped it off 20 minutes after open on Monday. Had to call myself an hour before they close because I didn’t have any update and needed to make plans for the next day if not ready. When I got there there was dirt on the inner door, seat, and floor and grease on the headliner and sun visor. They cleaned it when I requested. There was no paperwork/feedback for the adjustments on the alignment. Ok In a pinch but not my first choice personally.
Not only was their price very reasonable compared to other quotes I got, but they did great work in a timely manner. To top it off, they completely detailed my car inside and out with no extra charge! Very pleased!
My parents began taking their cars to Bosone when the place opened. I have been taking my vehicles to Chuck since High School in the mid 80's. My kids now take their cars there, too. He's never let us down. He is still one of my go-to mechanics almost 40 years later even though we now live in Conroe over an hour away. It will be a sad day in Seabrook if this place ever goes away.
Best mechanic shop and body shop on the south side of Houston and Galveston areas. Most competitive prices around. Honest and caring about their customers. Repeat business is their bread and butter. Nothing ever bad to be said about Bosone Automotive.
Been bringing them vehicles since the 80's. Parents were bringing theirs before that and still do to this day. Ownership and employees treat you like family. It doesn't get any better. I've even purchased vehicles from their lot. Everything you need with the best work and value. In a nutshell, you'll be back each and every time an Automotive need arises.

Chuck and the guys are always helpful. Their prices have been better or fair compared to other shops. This is my "go to" place when I'm in a bind or don't have the proper tools for my DIY repairs.
Chuck had my car in and out. Once my motor was ordered it took a few days to arrive and replaced in 3/4 days. Very professional and great work. Highly recommend!
Did a great job refurbishing my headlights. Helped me avoid $2500 worth of two repairs that the dealership rated as "fail" but Bosone said I still had 1-2 years of life left on those parts. Not five stars because took three days to do an over view of my vehicle and had to continually call for an update. Bosone did take time to talk things over with me in-person when I picked up my vehicle and apologized for the unecessary duration it took
Bosone is the place to go if you need your car worked on. All of their mechanics are certified and their prices are fair. Jeff is honest (am uncommon trait in the business) and he delivers the work that is promised. Not only that, but he even calls you after to make sure everything is working out ok. I recently moved near here from Houston and, with a 20-year-old car, was worried about finding a mechanic I could rely on. I am very happy to recommend Bosone and THAT doesn’t come lightly.
Can't recommend these guys enough! Locally owned auto repair shop that obviously cares about what the customer wants. Great prices compared to others nearby. In addition, the owner and staff were very considerate, even offered to drive me to work when I dropped off the car. Fixed a pretty bad dent in the door in under the estimated time and looks great!
This shop is old school and I love it! They always give us a good price on repairs. Can be a little slow but they do their best to diagnose issues completely so there are no surprises. Recently our car flooded and they checked it out at no cost to us, then stored it until insurance could come get it. Great hometown shop.

Fantastic repair shop. Their mechanic Henry got me right in and fixed all of my problems immediately. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, and most of all provided honest service. He knew what he thought was wrong and quoted me on it, then when it turned out that wasn't it he sent the parts back and charged me for the labor after manually fixing the problem. Later when I had another issue he was ready at the drop of a hat to take care of me until we found the problem ourselves just before we took it to him. He was appreciative of my loyalty, but I want to go a step further and make sure that anyone who reads this knows that Henry is the man you want to talk to about your car troubles.
Honest service speaks for itself, and I would 110% go back here immediately if I weren't moving to NY tomorrow. I wish I could bring them with me!
I cannot speak to the other services offered here but the mechanic Henry is great. I've been taking my truck here for about 2 years now and he has fixed all issues that have come up (rusted wheel assembly, check engine light, power steering pump failure) with it each time with no recurring problems, including a stubborn check engine light that several other mechanics could not determine the cause of. Service has always been fast, and they have worked with me in finding times that coincide with my work schedule.
He has also never tried to sell me on services I *didn't* need and has been honest about the drivability of the truck. He has told me which problems I can let go and which ones need imminent work.
I will definitely keep bringing my vehicles here at least as long as he is working there.
TL;DR:
Took it in for oil, brake light, check engine, and a/c. Didn't get any information on brake light, check engine light, or a/c. Left me with dangerously low levels of oil when I picked up my car after they claimed to have done an oil change. Didn't charge me for the oil change, so that when my car's engine would break down, they wouldn't be held liable.
Went here 'cause it's near my house. Took it in at opening and asked them to look at the check engine light, brake light, oil change and the A/C. The mechanic called me a couple hours later asking for specifics on my A/C, I gave it to them. He told me he'd call back. He didn't. When I called back near their closing time, He said they were working on the oil change, and hadn't looked at any of the other problems. I said okay. I needed my car for the next day, so I called them a little later and asked if I could pick it up. They said they didn't know how much longer an oil change would take. I asked him to check please, and he (the mechanic, henry?) said "Just come down and I'll make sure it's done by the time you get here." Cool. I walk over there, the mechanic says your car's out front, the keys are in her you can just take her. The front office was closing, and I asked, "shouldn't I pay". He said, "Don't worry about it." I thought, "Wow, what a nice guy. comping me for not being able to take care of my car" When I started driving, I notice the engine stuttered a bit. As soon as I got home, I turned off the car, waited 30 minutes for the car to cool, then checked the oil level. It was near empty. I had to perform a night-time last-minute oil change, and I hope that it's enough. But now I know why he didn't want a record of an oil change being performed.
After being repeatedly lied to by a mechanic on the other side of the lake, I decided to try Bosone. I am very glad I did. They do what you ask, explain everything and don't try to find/make other things to fix. They will pick you up and/or give you a ride home if you live close enough. I have taken my 99 Jetta over there 3 times and have been pleased with the result and the price each time. Highly recommended.
I just got an 18 wheeler towed by them, from Columbus TX to Houston. I was a very reasonable rate. I'm very satisfied with their service. I was a big difference compared with the other that I had quoted. If you need to tow a big truck, this is the place to call.
