  The entrance to this place is right next to the Perales Tire Shop off Red Bluff, if you're not familiar with the area you will miss it! Stopped by here to get rid of some old appliances and it was a breeze. If this is your first time going, you will need your Driver's License, picture taken, license plate number all this information goes into the system so if/when you return it's even faster to get out with money in your pocket. The guys who work there are pretty good at helping remove things from your vehicle (that's even better). My experience was great ! I don't scrap metal for a living so market price doesn't matter to me. It was all about the service and I got paid for junk!

  Racial discrimination is rampant here apparently. Don't bring your metal here if you look white. My Hispanic girlfriend took note of it as well, should've read the comments. Glad I recorded the call when I asked for today's prices. Edit. After reading more reviews, I noted that L&F replied to Terry stating 99% of car parts are steel. I'm an automotive engine block machinist, and L&F is WRONG AGAIN! what are the casings for alternators and the nose cones of starters made out of? ALUMINUM. What are the internal components of alternators and starters? COPPER and steel. What are most transmission cases made of? ALUMINUM. What are the internals of catalytic converters? Precious metals in most cases. ALUMINUM RADIATORS ANYONE? Geeez L&F really needs to hire someone that knows wth they're talking about and also someone who THINKS before they reply complete nonsense in writing to a customer.

  Treated my ole man like dirt, I know it was because he's a bolillo thinking he didn't know Spanish. Gave him # 2 copper price for his #1.. wouldn't even let him see his ticket b4 they ran it through.. wouldn't recommend it.

  I’ve been coming here 10+ years, they offer best price around as far as I know for scrap metals, so it makes 10 minute drive from down the road worth it. The management here are friendly. Thank you L&F metals for doing what y’all do.

  Don't like coming here. Only come for other people who need me to come for them. Only thing I can say is honestly don't come here at all when you are in a hurry. They take quite a while to get to you, be prepared to spend at least an hour of your time here.

  Not only did they quote me a different price over the phone. The guy also shorted my weight and refused to give be me my material back so I was forced to take their low ball price. Got ripped off all the way around. I’ll go back to Preston recycling from now on. Only reason u get one star is because zero was not an option

  I use to drive to Houston to take my scarp metal after moving to Pasadena and going to a few other places because of the prices they were giving i would hold stuff and wait to get alot to just go. But i will say they are the best in the area and i know i dont have to waste gas driving far anymore since i found them about a year ago

They are attentive when you get there and help answer any questions or concerns! They always have the best prices!!   Definitely bringing my scrap here again, staff is friendly and everything felt legit. Staff helped unload my truck and sepparated my different type of materials which reassured me I was not getting the lowest for it. Other places take the lump sum at the minimum price. Then L&F's print out detail of weights and descriptions closes the deal of no foul play!

  DO NOT BRING YOUR SCRAP HERE Complete rip off. Workers purposefully weigh different metals together to pay less. Brought in 30# of cans and about 5# of corrugated steel end scraps from a shed. Got a receipt for 26# of steel and 7# of cans. When it should've been the other way around. Left office to tell worker and he was positive that he weighed them separately. The dash cam on my car proves otherwise. Will be handing that over and reporting them to the Texas Board of Weights and Measures along with the Better Business Bureau.

  This place is a total rip off. They only pay you for a portion of the actual weight in whatever u bring to them. Do not bring your scrap metal here if you expect to get paid fairly.

  WARNING do not bring your recycle to this place. They just pay you whatever they feel like, if aluminum has the least bit of dirt they consider it dirty, construction wire is considered as extension cord wire. Won't go there again.
